Lovely lunch & Prosecco with friends. Will definitely re-visit sometime soon.

Lovely place great atmosphere. Been couple times now and was bit disappointed with the food both times.should really have said something. Poached eggs hard and cold .bacon cold.went with friends who's meals were the same. Such a shame as Lovely place .sorry to give dull review.

15 of us attended for a colleagues 60th lunch. All thought the food was fair for the price and pleasant atmosphere. Considering we spent about £200 between us, we were amazed to be charged £10 when we asked for a small cake to be cut and it turned out that was for the use of a cake knife to cut the cake ourselves! We all thought that was mean.

Great Sunday Lunch celebrating Mothers Day : Roast Turkey cooked to perfection, a big fluffy Yorkshire Pudding and a great selection of seasonal vegetables , followed by Home Made Black Cherry Bakewell Tart and Ice cream accompanied with a nice bottle of Jack Rabbit wine and my favourite Flat White Coffee made by Katie a very talented Barista The service was 5star, a very friendly team I would highly recommend a visit to this little gem .

Scruffy little car park with no spaces. Turned round and left. Waste of time and petrol.

Called in for Sunday breakfast on spec. Initially was very happy with the choice, we loved the feel of the barn, accompanying a farm shop and the view out to the riding arena. The atmosphere was good, nice conversation and the warmth from the log fire. On asking for a table we were told it would be a bit of a wait for food. Coffee came quickly and it was reasonable quality for the price. The food however was a lot longer than a bit of wait, something like 40 minutes which struck us as unreasonable for breakfast. The pace of food coming out of the kitchen was painfully slow which it just shouldn’t be for breakfast. They definitely need to review process on how to speed up rather than obviously cooking everything order by order in a linear way, which is the only thing I could think was happening. When it arrived, presentation generally was poor, and the quality of the produce not as high as I would want from a farm shop. In particular the kids pancakes tasted shop purchased and toasted, especially poor given the wait. The bacon unnecessarily fatty. Portions on the under generous side. To be fair the front of house team did their best, consistently apologising and on a quieter day I can imagine it’s a lot better. Would have to return and see for myself before I could recommend the place to friends which is a shame given its aesthetic.

Lovely , it was my daughter's birthday and all she wanted was a good breakfast, and she got that, also popped in the farm shop and made a purchase too.

Love coming here, the staff are lovely although it is sometimes cold in the cafe. The Sunday roasts are very tasty, however I am yet to have a hot one. In fact this Sundays was barely warm so I’m not having another. I asked for a hot plate one week but it didn’t make the roast any hotter. Also my Mum’s plum and apple crumble was such a small portion for £6.95. Disappointing.

Went today for coffee and cake , arrived at about 13.45 pm and only a couple of tables free . The place was really cold, not warm and inviting, the log burner was not lit . The Victoria sponge and lemon and blueberry were ok but very dense cakes ,not light as a feather sponge cake . Coffee lovely as usual . Great table service as usual .We left after one drink and went down the road for another coffee as we knew it would be warmer there . Also felt unwanted when we left ,like they wanted to get us out and close early , very off putting.

Came here this morning for breakfast with my friend. Had been before, but it was pre-covid, so feels like a very, very long time ago! We both had hot drinks (latte was lovely) and I had the poached eggs on toast with bacon, which was so tasty. Staff were super friendly too. Will definitely return!

Called in for a hot drink today, very busy but they found us a table, had hot chocolate which was delicious and even got to watch a riding lesson, the staff were so friendly and helpful, loverly place

Was attended to and looked after throughout the whole meal, staff were very helpful and efficient, the meal was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend the Steal and ale pie, with the price also being very reasonable for the portion and taste. Atmosphere felt very homely and polite, the shop was an added bonus

Beautiful setting, excellent menu, service second to none. Staff are polite, friendly, and helpful. The Deli, Butchery department, Grocery department, and items various available for purchase are all excellent quality and value. Give Oakfield Farm a try, and you will not be disappointed.

Popped in for lunch on Sunday,but was very disappointed.We ordered the Sunday roast the meat was lovely,but we had to ask for a Yorkshire pudding,no taste in the gravy and the food was not warm.

Not sure how the restaurant food is as it closed at 3pm Saturdays didnt get to try it but wow what a beautiful butchery, delicatessen and shop it looks a bit drab from the road and you would never know it's there.. but pull over park up and go see it's like a hidden gem looks as good as Harrods inside.. I've lived locally all my life and this was the first time I've visited.... all that lost time ....

Just popped in for a coffee, ended up having a beautiful sticky toffee pudding with pouring cream as well excellent service and one of the best puddings ever

Brilliant farm shop staff friendly and helpful fram cafe great food menu and friendly grils, nice to have some food and drink watching the horse's in the paddock can take the dogs and sit outside 10/10 highly recommended.

Lovely place to visit but has very little parking, so getting there early is key. Great produce and not too expensive.

Visited for the recent cider and sausage festival. Lots of home made of both, friendly staff and a great band.

Lovely place, didn't realise it was there as not really from the area. Drove past twice in one day and decided to stop for lunch on the way home. We really enjoyed it, the food was great.

Lovely food had the quiche with a beautiful salad and homemade chips Quality food yes you do have to wait for it but least you know it’s homemade and worth it and not reheated! Amazing farm shop next door butchers so helpful I will be back.

Lovely food with great service but can get a little noisy when busy

35 minute wait for breakfast while all other diners had their food. When it finally did it get served, burnt toast and over cooked sausage. Lots of excuses and poor service. Never coming back here

What an amazing example of diversity, Oakfield farm has something for everyone, Now this place by no means is a secret to those near and far. With it's fabulous farm shop selling everything quality, to the cafe that serves exemplary coffee cakes and food, If you like live music and a drink your catered for with regular events featuring class bands and if you fancy learning to ride, their equine centre is a must, See it to appreciate how this family run business has evolved is truly inspirational, an easy 10/10

A lovely cafe with excellent food and lovely staff

Lovely food, served in reasonable portions at decent prices. Service was very good, and it was nice to have a poke around the farm shop after eating. I can definitely recommend the Sticky Toffee Pudding!

Very pleasant venue, we chose to sit inside but there is seating with parasols outside as well. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Good value for money, will definitely go back again

Have walked to the farm today for Sunday lunch with my family. Only to be told there is only cake and coffees as food stops at 2.30 on a Sunday. When I asked why it doesn't say anything on the website about this, I was told that's that's the way it is . We are staying in the area for a few days, and my family was looking forward to a Sunday lunch at a reasonable time . Please update your website regarding hot food times

I went to this tearoom with high hopes after a recommendation however my meal was met with disappointment. I had pie, chips and peas and the chips were abysmal - small and overcooked. I mentioned to waitress and was met with some feeble excuse about kitchen equipment today. It’s the first and last visit to this place unfortunately.

First time we have been here but one to keep as a top entry to our Farm Shop visits great food along with 5star service. 100% recommend for all to try.

We really love Oakfield Farm. They serve a great Sunday lunch & tasty coffee. I love that they don't drown your conversation out with loud music, it's nice & peaceful so you can chat & hear people. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. Thank you for a lovely visit and fab food 😊.

Wonderful quality food in a superb setting. May 21just been to Oakfield Farm , not been for a while due to the pandemic. Just as nice , food excellent (Steak and Ale Pie) and a really good Flat White Coffee. Will be returning soon. I have not had a chance to return till 24th April today. They have changed the layout inside, and it looks great. Food is still as good. Service excellent in the restaurant. We managed to pull in a visit to their butcher shop. Their meat is really good.

Great place for lunch whilst watching the horse riders training. Friendly staff and service with good choice of food. Then get your meats and veg from the farm shop when you are done. Licenced as well. Bonus.

Had lunch here. Was very good and bought some coffee and his off cake as a takeaway. Will definitely be going back.

Although very local this was my first visit and I can't believe I have never been before. Delicious lunch of steak and ale pie, helpful staff and an amazing view. Visited the shop for some goodies to take home. Can't wait to come back and try the breakfast menu too.

Called for breakfast today i had a vegi and she had regular and we both said it was the best weve eaten ,Hot ,Extremely taste.The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable when i asked about a afternoon tea ....Brill we shall be back

What a brilliant first visit. We visited for Mother's Day Sunday lunch and also to celebrate a family birthday. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, welcoming and accommodating. The food was superb - between our party we tried most of the options, including 1 of the 2 vegetarian choices. The surprise birthday cake was spectacular and the complimentary Mother's Day gifts thoughtful. We will absolutely be back, hopefully many times! Thanks for a wonderful visit.

Pie, hand cut chips and mushy peas, delicious. Plus one of my favorite ales Dancing Duck, Drake. Compliments to the young lady that served us at our table. Nice to be at a real farm with cattle, sheep etc . Fresh meet home grown on sale in the farm shop. Will be returning.

Staff welcome your visit, be prepared to wait,, it's well worth it, the service and the meal was excellent, after we purchased from the range of fresh counter display of farm foods.

Lovely little oasis of calm. Restaurant clean and well presented, cakes were lovely. Very good and friendly service. Butchery and farm shop had everything needed and loads of choice. Exelent quality and good value. Would highly recommend. Definately returning soon.

Really scrummy home cooked food, great portions and reasonably priced.

This was my first visit to Oakfield Farm, it will definitely not be my last. Our table was booked for their 10am opening time. We where led to our table were our food and drinks were ordered. The drinks came first, followed by the food. The food was well presented and good portion sizes, it was very enjoyable with good flavours. There is also a farm shop on site which will be enjoyed at a later date probably together with the outside seating. When the summer comes, I think you'll need a bigger car park.

It was lovely hot chocolate, but it was so busy we had to sit outside. It was a bit chilly!

Brilliant selection of food, served by very friendly staff.

Our first visit, but will not be our last. Excellent selection of fresh produce served by really friendly and helpful people, with a smile on their faces. We did not use the cafe this time, but will next time, as the food looked absolutely delicious and as it was very busy, I think that says it all. A great find, we will make a regular place to shop.

I visited here today and the food was the best really lovely. I had the full English although it was excellent the portion size was a little rubbish 1 small rasher of bacon I would visit again though.

This farm shop cafe has got to be one of the best in the area. The staff are lovely and helpful, very friendly. It’s spotless and nice and warm, not over crowded and space between seating which I love. The food is lovely and well presented and all produce is fresh. Can not fault the place. On top of all of this it’s very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend a visit - you will not be disappointed.

Love this place go most weeks for breakfast. The food and service is always excellent. Buy all my meat From the farm shop as well as home made pies and quiches. Would highly recommend.
