Popped here for coffee after trip to Russels garden centre opposite and finding their Tea Rooms(AKA The Potting Shed) closes at 3 on Sundays 4 other days) We sat outside to drink our Lattes beside the river and near the mill stream. Bar Service was friendly and efficient, (I cannot rate rooms as we did not stay. ) Location is historic and unusual by the river, and has sentimental connections as I've lived nearby for decades and come here for special occasions in days when you could see the water wheel from the upstairs resturant and before the modern hotel extension was added.

Lois was an absolutely brilliant host this evening. Myself and a work colleague popped in for dinner and we were greeted with warmth and a smile. We had a starter, two mains, a mini-pud and coffee and a peppermint tea. There was a wealth of drink options to choose from, and when asked whether the orange juice was from concentrate, our waitress wanted to ensure she gave the correct information so found that out for us. Whilst there was an issue with the taste of my burger (the reason for the four-star - I think more to do with a supplier), when Lois checked in with us, she couldn’t have done more to try and improve our experience. What was even better, was that Lois seemed to give all of the customers this experience, not just us. What a great representative of your business.

Stopped here for a few pints after work with my fellow coworkers. Atmosphere is lovely and close to nature, it is the perfect place to relax while enjoying a cold beer.

Shambolic customer service. Booked through hotels.com and booked 2026 in error. In check in I realised and rebooked there and then. I assumed as it’s human error that I’d just get a cancellation. I’m now told the hotel won’t cancel and I’m left with a room for 12 months from now. I stay out 10-15 times a month and Im looking for somewhere to stay regular. It won’t be here.

Comfortable rooms, good quality pub grub. I would recommend this hotel and restaurant.

We just went for a family lunch. The service and food was excellent.

We only used the restaurant and have just had a lovely lunch. There were nine of us and one lady was unavoidably late. Robin was brilliant and gave us the extra time needed without fuss and also served us brilliantly. The food was very good too

We went for food on Sunday afternoon and the standard of food is just poor. It’s like oven freezer food which you make at home on the days when you can’t be bothered to cook but for ten times the price. Someone on the table ordered fish and chips and they received like a kid’s portion of chips on their plate and they forgot the mushy peas. Majority of us did not enjoy our meals and the lemonade was flat. I’ve had a bad experience here before where cling film and a ‘Eat by’ sticker was left in my food. I feel sorry for the waitresses running around correcting the chefs issues

Went to the old mill for the first time for lunch with my mum. A nice cosy place to enjoy sunny weather and being by the river was lovely!! Manager Sam and staff were friendly and welcoming and food was tasty. Would definitely visit again.

Just the job. Needed a weekend away from the normality of life. Fantastic place. Staff we're everything you expect. Friendly welcoming,extremely helpful. The food was lovely and cooked perfectly. The plaque on the wall says it all. You come as guests but leave as friends. Will be returning soon.

Went for Sunday Lunch . Delicious!! Best Sunday lunch we have had for a very long time. Fair pricing for clearing the plate. We both had the triple meat. Turkey Pork beef came with Yorkshire pudding a big pig in blanket crispy crackling. An extra jug of gravy leeks carrot and swede mash and roast potatoes. Really very tasty. The waitress was very attentive and excellent service. The place was warm. Lovely ambience and we shall return . Very impressed!

I had a nice experience overall. The staff were friendly, and our waitress, Surya, was absolutely lovely! The starters were fantastic, but I feel like the food peaked there. The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant, making for a nice dining experience. However, I was disappointed to find there were no gender-neutral bathrooms. Additionally, despite wearing a badge with my pronouns, I was misgendered, which was uncomfortable. I hope they consider making improvements in these areas for a more inclusive environment in the future.

We visit twice a year on business and enjoy a pub meal and wine (by the open fire if we are lucky).

Very convenient location for visiting Coventry and Warwick area. Friendly staff, comfortable and spacious rooms, and great food.

Went for roast with the familly and we all were really impressed. A really nice pub in a great location. The service was amazing and the food was fantastic. We will definitely go back and would definitely recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful meal tonight. The food was prompt in being delivered to our table and was incredibly delicious. However, the highlight of our evening was the outstanding service provided by our waitress, Lois.

I stayed three nights at the hotel "Old Mill". The hotel is located in the lovely area. It is surrounded by trees and with the river at the side of the hotel. But the best part of this place is the staff. There are not such words to describe those beautiful people. At my check-in behind the reception was a lady with a beautiful big smile. She was very friendly and welcoming. With her was a young lad who was happy to tell me a little bit more about the area and places I should visit while I'm staying at the hotel. I also met other staff at the reception and they all were very nice and polite. At night, my colleagues and I would have a meal at the bar inside the hotel. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to meet a chef, but food was divine and also a breakfast. Young gentleman working behind a bar was very busy every night, but he was always polite and lovely and very fast. Young ladies are serving food, and they are charm, funny, and chatty bit, and at the same time, they are very professional. I wouldn't like to miss any of the staff whom I had a chance to meet. Without exception, they all were amazing. And at least but not last, I have to say a few words about lady cleaners. The room was spotless. They would without me asking to daily change towels and tidy my room, and every time I would see them, they would smile, and we would exchange a few words. They were lovely. In the end, I hope that the owner of the place will take some time to read this feedback. You should be proud of your team, and I hope you are aware of those great people. I also would suggest investing a little bit of money into the hotel, especially bathrooms ( celling, shower, floor, etc.). Thank you for making me feel welcome, and I truly hope I will have a chance to visit the "Old Mill" hotel again.

Came to The Old Mill for a quiet meal. Was great very quickly and was seated to our table. Our waitress Lois was kind and always on hand to help with anything we needed! She was always very polite and nothing was too much for her. The meal was amazing and everything tasted beautiful and was hot and fresh. Will definitely return again in the future.

We all enjoyed our meals. A little bit of a wait but it wasn’t too bad as we were chatting anyway :) our sever was called Lois (I think that’s how you spell it) and she was really lovely. Very personable. Would recommend and return.

The food was way overpriced. Waited 45 minutes. The food wasn’t bad don’t get me wrong but for the price yu pay it isn’t worth it. Establishment itself is beautiful but sadly the waitresses were terrible. We asked for the bill, waited 15 minutes for it. The one girl at the front with blond hair, my god how can you look at a screen for so long and not move to help your team. Whoever the Owner is, you are paying her to much.

Went for Sunday lunch and loved it. The Old Mill is in a lovely location. The staff were all excellent and the food superb. They also serve a fine selection of real ales which topped it off for me. All in all, a great experience.

Popped in to finish off our evening with drinks and a dessert . We stepped into a building site . The windows were blocked out with wooden boards it was like we were in a warehouse. The place was almost deserted on valentines night . What used to be a a place buzzing with energy , we felt like we stepped into some hill billy zone . We left quickly as well as a few others who arrived after us .

Lois was lovely as are all the staff. Must have a great management culture to have so many people looking after customers so well.
