Came away feeling ripped off having paid £6.80 for two not very big lattes, and this was the takeaway price, not to sit in. I will certainly not be going back!

Disappointed. Been for a coffee before, nice room and some comfey seating. Feels spacious. Two of us decided to come in for lunch, it was quiet but the young girl greeted us with a smile. We ordered at the desk. Coffee was tasty and as good as before. Food arrived about 15 minutes later and only 2 other tables that already had food when we arrived. The chef who brought it over with a huff as she almost chucked it on the table treated us like we was an inconvenience. The table next too us gave us a look as if they were surprised to. Fatty pale bacon in the wrap needed cooking more and the hash brown was soggy and tasted raw, wrap was stale and cracking. Toast was too hard to eat. Didnt feel comfortable enough to complain.

Such a relief to find a place that offered something other than pizza or fish and chips We enjoyed our on toast dishes of scrambled egg and salmon and smoked salmon and guacamole and indulged in lovely chocolate cakes afterwards . Service was attentive and good . Attractive surroundings and apparently an off shoot of the old George cafe across the road ,which is a very popular venue . Just a bit surprised that staff didn’t wear face masks.

Had a full English breakfast and a coffee, delicious, it's quiet a small restaurant so we ate under a gazebo outside and that was absolutely fine. Would go again, the staff were all lovely too.

Great coffee choice, with chocolate brownies to die for, vegan and GF free options a great treat after a shopping trip.
