Went to dine and dance singer was great had a lovely time with friends all the staff are lovely and helpful would highly recommend the afternoon out

Tuesday lunch and dance is amazing. We have been to everyone and they have just got better. They have got so popular,booking is essential.

Fab as always. We love this place. Much cleaner than other hungry horse restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good.

Came in for a few drinks, was given plenty of choice and help from the staff, very knowledgable, cleanly pub and good music taste!

Came in for a meal with 20 of us, food was well presented and came out at the same time near enough! The waitress’ were so happy and smiley and there was nothing that was too much trouble

Avoid at all cost. What a dump. Sat down worked out menu, queued at Bar to be told no burger meals and all he was interested in was selling me glass of wine. Sat back at table, looked at menu, guy at bar didn't even offer me a menu whilst I was at Bar. Had to queue back at Bar to re-attempt to order meal to be queue jumped and guy behind Bar just blanked me. Sat back down and had some wine, then went back and had to queue for a 3rd time, took a while to be served yet again to now be told they didn't have any 12 ounce steaks iether! FFS. Really cheesed off by now. God knows why I bothered. Had to settle for 8 Oz. I was hungry just wanted food. Service appalling The fact that I could only have what they offered me rather than me choose from a menu one huge joke. Definatley ticked this one off my list. Staying in a hotel whilst working in the area, but will not be back ! I will go off and find somewhere much better tomorrow Give it a huge miss. They don't give a dam. Mankiest piece of extremely chewy grisly steak I have ever had and just handful of chips. Wanted a desert but decided to leave and went elsewhere for a desert & coffee. Spend most of my life away working and in hotels etc and this has to of topped everything as worst service and worst food ever.

The food was spot on, tash was our waitress and she was constantly rushing around about but still kept checking in on us and always had a smile on her face!

Have just spent a wonderful afternoon at the Old Farmhouse with friends. Food and staff spot on as usual. Today's entertainment was a young man called Brogan Collins. He is exceptional. Such a wonderful voice,he was engaging with the dancers and crowd. Such a talent. We played cards bingo for MacMillan and raised around £170 just for having abit of fun. These afternoons are getting popular and its easy to see why. Well done to all

Came in for football with my mates! Was served by Ben, even though he seemed new he still showed knowledge and Natasha always coming over and talking to us and making us feel welcomed!

Came in for a couple with my friends, needed to book a table and natasha was so helpful and friendly! Came in on an entertainment night to which made it so much more fun!

Booked at table for 14 for a family birthday lunch. Part of party arrived early to put a few balloons up. Meal was excellent and not waiting to long especially considering the number of people and most had different to the other. Staff were very friendly and helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. Staff member even came to help with photos so we could all be in it. 10 out of 10

The members of bar staff was helpful and very friendly. They explained the menu well and took their time with my order even though they was busy, made me feel valued and welcome. Food was delicious and drinks came quick when ordering on the app. Thank you for a lovely time.

Just had another brilliant lunch at the monthly dine/dance afternoon at the old farmhouse……. Fab singer, great food and top notch service…… perfect for all ages and especially so for us golden oldies who still like a good time in a suitable time frame…..My sincere thanks to all who work here as we always feel valued and are treated with care and kindness…. efficiency of service second to none..…. There are many food pubs in Scunthorpe who ought to sit up and take notice of this fine example of how to cater for and go the extra mile for customers……Many many thanks and Very well done Managers of this venue…..you are very very much appreciated….👌👍🏻😁😁

Dine n Dance We've been attending the dine and dance afternoons every month for around a year. They're always well attended and great fun. All the singers have been fabulous. However, today, Amanda has raised the bar several notches. What a fantastic entertainer she has been. The house has been rocking all afternoon. So sad she's just performed her last song of the day. We could have continued on into the night! Voice almost gone from singing...hubby will say that's a plus! 😂 Food and staff were great also. Kitchen staff must be dizzy with the amount of orders today but still turned out great food. Lovely afternoon. Our guys really look forward to these sessions. Always come in for breakfast with the family. Natasha always serves us and she is fantastic! Lucky to have a staff member as friendly and helpful! Looking forward to the next visit. We also popped in for a casual drink today and Natasha came out her way to say hello and ask how we all were 🙂

Called in for a coffee with friends and was very disappointed that they don’t have non dairy milk for coffees. It’s rare to find somewhere that doesn’t these days and especially a chain. Comfortable surroundings and decent black coffee for £1.99.

The food was cold. Sent it back and then it was microwaved. Came back boiling hot along with the plate. 5 people all disappointed with Sunday Lunch. This was a thank you meal for my daughter and family. The waiting and bar staff apologised for everything and their service was very good. I spent over £60 on this lunch and would like a refund please. Note worth going to eat here.

Ben is a lovely geezer, he helped me when I couldn’t understand the menu and was very good with the recommendations. Also Natasha gave very good service and was very warm and welcoming. I absolutely loved my experience here and will 100% be returning to the establishment.

Decided to come for lunch with my girlfriend. After we decided to come to the old farmhouse to eat. The workers were very polite especially Natasha was very friendly and welcoming will definitely be coming here again.

After not dining at this restaurant for a long while, we thought we would try it as we was meeting up with a couple of other family members. After all deciding on what food we wanted I went to place the order, which was taken quickly and hassle free, not a problem. Time elapsed and after about 25 mins our meals arrived, out of the 6 people dining only two meals were the same, these two meals were curry’s which we decided to have as a curry and pint offer. The waitress passed us our meals, I proceeded to put the curry over my rice, first fork full and it was cold, the other guest who ordered curry was also displeased as it was cold!!! I just find it unreal that they can’t even send food out that’s hot, not a lot to ask. I beckoned the waitress over and told her the curry’s were cold, was it possible to reheat them in the microwave, no apology, although in fairness not her problem. She took them away to be heated up!! She brought them back, some improvement!!! The others in the party did state to a male server that came and asked about our problem that their chips were not exactly hot but because they had waited they didn’t want to wait any longer. The male server did state that he had told kitchen staff to make sure they checked temperatures, it makes me wonder if people just put up with sub standard food and temperatures because they don’t like to complain??? I certainly won’t be in a rush to attend this venue again! In the plus side some of the staff were friendly.
