We were seated and waited on immediately, despite it being very busy. I dropped one of my chopsticks on the floor before our food arrived and the waitress quickly hurried over with another set without being asked - she very attentive. The cocktails were good, although nothing out of the ordinary. The food on the other hand was outstanding; authentic, flavourful and fresh. There were two of us and we shared the smokey king rolls, spicy hamachi rolls, spice tuna rolls, KFC and tofu karaage. It was enough for two and I’d each recommend every dish! Nice atmosphere and really friendly staff.

We stumbled across this little gem while looking for somewhere to eat! The food was fresh, tasty and honestly the best tasting Japanese food around! The best sushi I have ever tasted <3 the service was exceptional, if you are in London definitely give this a go!

Lovely place, lovely staff and great atmosphere, maybe need slightly bigger portions. I could have filled up with some side bread but didn’t see it on the menu.

This place is utterly fantastic. One of the best mid-priced spots I've found in London. Salmon, Tuna and Kingfish sashimi were all excellent, the Tofu Kaarage was one of the best I've had. Drinks are reasonably priced, the atmosphere is intimate and the staff were attentive. It was a Monday evening and there was never an empty table. That's a very good sign in my opinion.

This place is insane, and so affordable. Two of us had ramen each (the vegan one is delicious), then we shared 5 gyozas, and 8 pieces of sushi. The bill was £20 each. Service was fast, everything we ate was incredible - try the vegan sushi with crispy onion and sweet beetroot. Definitely coming back ASAP!

Daughter and I had a wonderful meal with great wine and excellent service at Peg last week. Music selection was both bizarre and hilarious, totally inappropriate and far too loud for the small venue. Lovely girl changed it on request but we were baffled by choice (The Specials 😝) put on full blast making our wine glasses vibrate!! Despite the musical faux pas, we thoroughly enjoyed dining at Peg, can highly recommend it and feel the quality and innovative food we were served would be well worthy of a Michelin star. Lovely staff too.

A few days ago I visited this cafe with a friend. A Japanese male staff member behaved so rudely to us (he ignored us when we entered, did not understand English at all, kept an abrupt and rude attitude overall etc). So I messaged them later about our bad experience through Instagram, in a fairly polite manner. They got back to me two days later, but it just said 'Haha, You are wrong, but I see no benefit to explain that to you.' That clearly shows I am not wrong... I do not recommend this place to anyone. There are many excellent Japanese cafes in London, such as Tsujiri and WA cafe, where the service is decent and the food is much better too.

Had the summer special - dry ramen with a raw egg yolk. Absolutely delicious highly recommend also the fact they have a garlic crusher on the table to add your own garlic and the sesame dispenser breaks up the sesame seeds to give more flavour and aroma is top notch. Would definitely go again!

Very tasty chicken teriyaki. Recommend as going for lunch or dinner. Best of all is half price at the end of the day.
