OK Diner in Shropshire

Best Burger I have ever eaten! We are regulars here but today the food was outstanding. Libby cooked the best burger ever! Thanks Libby 👌🏻

We visit often and just wanted to say how lovely the girls are. Libby cooked the most amazing dinner the best we have had to date.

Stopped here during a very long journey. A nice wide selection of meals not just burgers. Staff were helpful and polite. Food served promptly and as ordered. Food was tasty. Also good dessert selection. We had a very helpful waitress named Sue.

Great American treat, I had a delicious double cheeseburger. My family at the table had all day breakfasts. The desserts were scrumptious with a banana biscotti sundae, biscotti doughnut.

I had Mothers Day lunch with my family today. My son has Autism so needed a quiet table so he could enjoy. Waitress Lornie went above and beyond to provide us with the space we needed so we could have a lovely family lunch. Food and service were excellent as it always is here. Thank you so much

We come here at least once a month as a treat, as the food is good and we enjoy the atmosphere (and love the music). The service is always fast and we're checked in on after food has been served to ensure everything is OK. The food is always well presented, and it's easy to get a refill on a drink.

Went to the ok diner whilst visiting my sister,we had a very warm welcome by the waitress(I think was named elen)the service was excellent and when the food arrived looked very nice and tasted even better.definately would recommend a visit.

Parking at this site is an absolute con. Terrible signage and no segregation - there is no way of knowing where the limitations start and end. £100 fine for a free car park as a paying customer at OK Diner is a joke - it's Oswestry, not central London.

Great atmosphere, clean & welcoming, music at a comfortable volume and a very helpful waitress. Will definitely come here again. I sympathise with the ones who have been fined 😥 however there are reminder signs throughout the Diner to register your car details 🙂

I have visited the OK Diner a few times now due to appointments at the local hospital. Every time the welcome has been warm and genuine. The food is great typical American diner fare. There is plenty of choice and it is always served hot and fresh

Awful place that is operating a parking scam in the carpark clearly aimed at catching you out and making money from fines. Received a fine through the post after visiting. Very poor standards of cleanliness and very average food served by staff that look like they'd rather be anywhere else. Avoid!

Had the bbq chicken burger witch was actually nice. The downside was staff looked like they just didn't want to be there. Cutlery was dirt and as showen in the picture, my glass dirty.

The food was actually ok! But … After my meal, I needed the toilet. They were filthy and no toilet paper or soap in the men’s. If I’d have seen these toilets before ordering food, I would have left there and then. The staff seemed unhappy and I got the impression that something was going on as they all congregated the opposite end of the café and it seemed like a discussion was taking place. I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♂️ but I didn’t feel the service received was particularly good or welcoming and the toilets were a disgrace. A week later I received a parking ticket for £100, despite inputting the reg into the tablet. We spent over £80 on our visit. Won’t be spending another penny here ever again.

Food was great tasting! However looked like they played catch with my burger before plating it. We were seated quickly yet the server was abrupt and had no people skills, we were then given dirty cutlery… and the server asked can she take our condiments half way through our meal?? And then proceeded to give them to another table? This place has potential but is let down by its staff. The girl was nice but just seemed like she was winging it

Been here lots and had excellent food and service every time. Fresh food, clean toilets, plenty of parking and disabled access.

Delicious freshly cooked breakfast, excellent portion size, We both thoroughly enjoyed our food.

No wonder nobody ever goes to these dumps. Never seen more than a car on one of the car parks. Parked up on their empty car park for a few minutes - actually read the menu & thought it may be of interest for another day... Then received a parking ticket, as I had parked on the empty car park.... Don't recall any signs, and it is in close proximity to a host of other places including KFC. Certainly won't bother now... Paid my fine, & sour taste well and truly left. Must be how they make their money. I can't comment on the food... but judging by the empty car parks at each and every site, I would assume its pretty crap.

Great food, cooked to order. prompt service. Milkshake was DELICIOUS - as was the food. Friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money.

Pleasant American style diner, good car parking, we had no complaints about the food and the service was good. We will visit again.

Just spent £170 on a parking fine for lingering for 12 minutes here one dark winters evening when I got disoriented and wanted to reset my sat nav and to call back a family member in distress. I asked the manager to cancel the parking charge and was refused assistance. I wish I was brave enough to have not paid and seen the parking company in court. It is shameful that these companies are getting away with this. Avoid at all costs.

Parking Racket. Do not go here. Parked for 15 minutes to get a drink at Starbucks and now have a £100 parking fine!

Visited here on the way home from a day out, all the staff were sat one end of the diner, the girls who took our order didn't write it down and subsequently not only forgot our drinks, but what we ordered too. Some of the food was cold and they forgot to put some bits on, the staff just generally seemed like they couldn't be bothered The whole restaurant was pretty cold too, didn't want to take off my coat. A real shame and just put me off eating, wanted to have dessert but just decided to leave instead

Its not fun here! .if i could give a zero i would, u sent a reply (have u looked in the mirror), so I rang your head office and they will be contacting me soon .now the 15,11,23 I emailed the head office and they emailed me back saying I should go away! and if i make a complaint they wish me luck Really omg !!! So if u have any problems from this place good luck . Not on!( NEVER AGAIN ).can't believe it ..there is always kfc next door!

Top diner. Had swiss burger and a banana split. More than OK. Staff were great and entertaining.

Good venue and I'd definitely recommend a visit over the other generic eateries nearby. There is a great selection of American style food and beverages, plus coffee straight out of the pot, with unlimited refills!

Visited here a couple of months ago with my fiancée, thought we would give it a go. Waitress was initially very helpful and we got shown to our table. For was mediocre at best, drinks weren't fizzy, wasn't offered any extra drinks and when we finished we were just offered the bill, not even offered a dessert, guess it was nesting the end of the shift. Put off visiting again.

Went for the first time on a Wednesday. Conviently, there was a burger deal on. Nice food, friendly staff. Recommended.

Friendly service and a warm and homely vibe. Vintage aesthetics and an overall American theme. Food was brought out promptly and was delicious! Hard to locate within Oswestry as got a bit lost on the way! Overall a great experience. Would probably come again!

AVOID. I parked here for five minutes to use the bathroom, as I was very ill, and I got charged £100, which was unappealeable. DO NOT BE TRICKED LIKE I WAS. Do not support a business who's respect for humanity is so severely impaired.

Nice welcome on arrival. Various range of meals on the menu. Many breakfast options are available. If you are looking for an American type diner, this is the place. Excellent service presenting good food at a reasonable price.

Another victim of the parking charge! 11 minutes feeding our dogs for a £60 fine. Reading the reviews the OK Diner doesn't sound great either. Avoid!

Nothing to complain about until the £100 parking bill arrived two weeks later Absolute rip off, apparently you need to log your vehicle details to avoid this. Or keep the receipt to appeal. Shady behaviour for a services area- the business model is obviously to rip people off. Will not be stoppping by again here or anywhere else Other restaurants are available.....

OK Diner dished out a £100 parking fine to a pregnant woman who parked up just to use the toilets. She didn't feel comfortable enough with the dual roundabout situation given that she's a new driver and the roundabout situation is still quite new and wasn't showing up on her satnav yet. OK Diners CCTV clearly showed her P-plates and she was parked for a matter of minutes. It doesn't matter what their food is like or what their service is like. Fining a pregnant woman £100 for a quick toilet break is morally reprehensible and nobody should support this joke of a business.

Lovely American themed diner, with tasty food and large portion sizes. The refillable coffee, plus a triple sausage hot dog were highlights, along with the all the staff being good banter. Highly recommend and bring your appetite!
