We've had the salt and pepper share platter on several occasions, never disappoints. Lovely food hot and very tasty. More than enough food for two people.

Had a bad experience here on 2 occasions, First time had to pay £20 deposit on booking which was fine but only to then see they hadnt knocked it off the bill! (Good job i wasnt drunk!) Went to explain at the bar and got told i had to show evidence, so ended up having to scroll through my online banking to show them! Not professional, you would have thought this would have been documented on there side on booking! Second time we had booked a table for 5 inside for drinks and paid a deposit, we sat down with our drinks and got told we had to move outside as our table was needed and there had been a mix up with booking and it wasnt out table even though our table was set out for 5 people with no cutlery, apparently no tables could be reserved inside for drinks, if this was the case why take a deposit and let me book a table for just drinks!! So we got moved outside and when a table came free we moved back inside only to see that there were only 3 people sat eating at the table we were at so this table was clearly ours as it was set out for 5 people and the staff just lied!! We didnt want to be sat outside in the cold or we wouldnt have booked and paid a deposit!

Went for lunch on 09/09/21. Ordered a wrap and a baguette. Rotten salad was hidden in the baguette under the chicken- had to spit half the baguette out on the plate as it was so bitter. Complained about it but bill not amended to reflect the inedible baguette. Check your food thoroughly for freshness before eating anything here as the rotten stuff was hidden under other items. Would not recommend after our experience here.

The ‘tapas’ arrived tiny, dull and lukewarm. A salad was tired and apparently, from a supermarket bag. A few dishes were really spicy without any warning on the menu. We ordered 7 different ones for the total of £40 but ended up staying hungry. This is such a rip-off. One needs to be really drunk to find acceptable this level of ‘food’.

Having been highly recommended by my daughter to try O'Hares Tapas restaurant, we tried a take out from here under the covid rules. Initially, the price list we'd been given was apparently wrong with the actual prices been substantially increased. However, as it was highly recommended we opted to continue with the order. So, between two of us it cost £54 which was certainly restaurant price and not takeaway. Our food arrived, mine consisting of salt n' pepper chips which were basic frozen fries undercooked with very little salt or peppers and luke warm. Six non premium pigs in blankets costing £1.00 each. Salt n' pepper chicken pieces, six of and obviously out of bag frozen. Again these worked out at £1.00 each piece. Each piece the size of an oxo cube. The only saving grace were the ham and cheese fitters. Albeit frozen again, taste ok. To add insult to injury, looking on 'Just Eat', the prices were the original lower price so, if we'd have ordered from there, we'd have saved a good £10. I won't comment about my daughters order as that's her issue. Ultimately though O'Hares, you are shooting yourself in the foot providing food of like that, in some cases it wasn't fitting of a restaurant of your character. No recommendations from me I'm afraid.

My wife and I have visited O’Hares several times recently and have never been disappointed. The pizzas are excellent, especially the New Yorker, but then again so was everything we tried. I would recommend O’Hares wholeheartedly. The staff are always welcoming, happy, smiling and service is great. Try it, you won’t be disappointed

Went in her just after the lockdown restrictions had been lifted, we got numerous amount of cocktails which were delicious and really good value for money, you can mix and match aswell which was great! The bar was quiet busy so we had to wait inbetween cocktails which wasn’t ideal but totally understandable during the current circumstances, the decor inside was really nice and the food that was being served to other customers looked delicious, will definitely be returning!

We visited O’Hares over the weekend as a farewell lunch for one of my good friends. We decided to book the Bottomless Brunch, as it looked like a good price, and had a variety of different drinks. We booked 4 people on the bottomless brunch, and an extra person (myself) as I do not drink. The bar was nicely decorated and clean, and all up to the new COVID standards. Unfortunately, this is where the positivity ends. Upon arriving, it took a good 10 minutes for the waitress to come over to take our food & drink order. We ordered our food first, some soft drinks, and some water for the table. The soft drinks were left on the bar for ages until one of party reminded the waitress. The water never arrived. The food came which was nice, but such small portions. We ended up eating again after we left as we were still hungry. My friends who were having the Bottomless Brunch had 4 drinks in 2 hours. I understand that you cannot have another drink until you have finished the one you already have, but after finishing the drink, there was always at least a 10 minute gap before the waitress came over to take another drink order. Anywhere else this would be fine – but it was supposed to be a bottomless brunch where the drinks are flowing and refilled often. They ended up having the equivalent of 1 drink every 30 minutes. I am a recovering alcoholic therefore I do not drink – at all. I ordered mocktails alongside the girls having their cocktails, and they were great. At £3, the price was very reasonable. Unfortunately, I ordered a Pornstar Martini mocktail and asked the waitress specifically when she brought it back to the table with the prosecco shot if it was non-alcoholic, to which she assured me it was. I decided to leave the ‘shot’ which usually is a tonic when ordered at other places, and I am so thankful I did as when the waitress came back, I asked her what was in it and she said she accidently gave me prosecco. I am on triple figures of sobriety, and that drink which I specifically asked if it was none alcoholic could have set me back big time. It’s not acceptable – especially after asking twice. There wasn’t much of an atmosphere in the bar, and we will not be returning. If you want a decent bottomless brunch, go to Manhatta in Town.

Terrible! Ordered a take away at 5.15pm, arrived after 3 phone calls at 7.20pm. Spent almost £40 for four of us and there was only just enough food to feed two people. The stuffed jalapeno's were just peppers in a bread crumb, there was about 10 chips in a whole portion, the chorizo dish was just a sauce with a few crumbs of chorizo in, actually laughable. I never write bad reviews but this was completely unacceptable for the money spent. Biggest waste of money on a take away ever!

Dropped in for a late lunch (14:30) when passing. My wife had an omellete which she thorougly enjoyed and I went for the fajitas. I am glad I didnt order any sides as the serving was more than adequate. Service was good and the food plesantly served. The menu looked interesting. My only complaint was the beer (IPA) was too cold - a problem with modern bars. Will definitely go back if in the area again.

Called in for a "off the cuff" quick drink, we were greeted by 2 extremely courteous, professional and friendly young ladies, we decided to get some food instead of moving on to where we were going to go, my wife and myself decided on the sirloin steak baguette "medium cooked but no blood " I'm a butcher 30 years in, always a step in the dark, rarely achieved! Arrived PERFECT, my compliments given to the chef Oliver who knows it's all in the "rest", 10 stars!!

We had been told this place was great for food so we called in tonight Sunday the 30 th of June we placed our drinks order when our drinks arrived the bar lady brought a cloth to clean our table which was absolutely filthy as soon as she wiped the table I could smell what I can only describe as wet dog smell this immediately put us off ordering food when I told her she just laughed and said she would throw the cloth away I can safely say we will not be returning to this dirty place and I will be making my friends aware

I visit here rather a lot! The food is always fresh, tasty and served with a smile. I usually have the spicy Cajun chicken, which is delicious. I take both friends and family. We’re never disappointed last time I took my daughter, we had the tapas to share which was lovely.

We chose to go here on Christmas Day with lots of friends and family and it was the right choice. The place was buzzing and very welcoming; giving out presents to any children and even treats for the dogs. It had atmosphere and the service was great. Thank you, hoping to visit New Years Eve too :-)

Terrible. Don’t go. Why? Because it’s never been open when I’ve been! Just walked out there today with my daughter, and we hoped to have lunch and drinks. But it was shut, despite stating it’s open on a Tuesday from noon. This is the THIRD time I’ve been (all different days and times) and it was shut each time. I’ve checked the website and socials and there’s no indication they’re shut. Terrible service for such a remote pub.

Surprised to see the low rating I thought the food was alright and staff friendly. I mean it cheap food at a hungry horse not exactly going to be artisan bespoke burgers like other reviews are complaining about is it? Plus the pub look amazing.
