Love it here amazing food and crazy low prices love the full English, and Dawn and her team are amazing love this little gem

Odell's is without a doubt the best place to get a fry-up in Rochford. Fantastic food, cozy environment. Very welcoming and lovely staff.

The breakfast are to die for, real bacon, not dried up cardboard, tasty sausages, the best tasting mushrooms, runny eggs, good baked beans, (I decline black pudding and bubble & squeak) ask for Fried Bread and got Proper fried bread. Great coffee, everything freshly cooked/brewed, so not a quick in, shove it down & out meal. Great value & waitresses too. On our list for returning.

This is a very friendly place with friendly staff good food clean and tidy, it is a small quaint place with character there is parking not far away in the Square or in the car park a short walk away worth a visit if only for a tea or coffee and a slice of cake

My wife and I visited Odell's twice during a recent stay for our lunchtime meal. On the first occasion I had a cheese omelette andmy wife a fish pie with a pot of tea. On the second our choice was an all day breakfast and cottage pie again with tea. The food was freshly cooked, very tasty, and there were very generous portions. The service was friendly and attentive even though the cafe was busy. Prices were very moderate and easily affordable... On both occasions the total bill was under £14. Highly recommended.

I stopped here for lunch when I was working in Rochford and it was a great choice! The staff were super friendly and I really enjoyed the food. I sat outside which was surprisingly enjoyable considering how close it is to the main road, and the coffee was very good as well. If I were to find myself in Rochford again I would 100% go back.

Delightful little place in the heart of Rochford with the best breakfast ever! Visit at least once a week. Yet to have a bad meal!

First visit to Odells, we will certainly be back. Full English was very FULL and jacket potato with filling was delicious. Very friendly atmosphere,service was friendly and attentive. Food was fab and all for a great price.

Such a lovely place, the food is brilliant and very reasonable prices, had a scrummy breakfast at half the price of most places, Alway’s made to Feel welcome and have a laugh.

Went here for breakfast on Saturday. Must’ve arrived at just the right time (11am) as it got very busy after we had ordered. We went for the full breakfast, 3 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 eggs, mushrooms, beans, tomato, black pudding & toast! All for £4.50!!! Fabulous value & it tasted great. Lovely little place & really friendly staff

Discovered this little gem of a cafe whilst visiting the nearby physiotherapy centre. The atmosphere and service is friendly. The food is delicious and the portions were great. If we lived locally Odells would definitely become our 'regular ' place to eat.

Me and my partner come here at least once a month for a Saturday afternoon lunch, it is a lovely place, a real village cafe atmosphere, brilliant service, always friendly and happy to have a chat with everyone.

I call in once a month whilst my wife is at the hairdressers. It's always a treat. Great value, friendly people, (that's staff and customers). Well cooked food and nice atmosphere. 10 out of 10 !

A cosy cafe in the centre of Rochford. Service and food excellent with a decent choice available. Parking nearby can be difficult for the less mobile. Can be a squeeze when busy but well worth a visit.

Will be there front and centre again, this time 09:00 on Saturday, Miguel, Antonio and me. One of the best 'Full English' brekkies to be had. Great choice, lots of it and superbly priced - great value.

We had some great food in this excellent café for lunch at a very reasonable price. The staff were very friendly.

Have been here many times for breakfast. never fails to satisfy. Happy to contribute to it's continuing success. Even though it is small you can book a table. I will be back with 3 friends on Saturday.

Came here with my partner in her lunch break, was greeted by very friendly staff, restaurant was a little busy. However drinks came almost straight away and it was a massive kettle of tea for Two! Only £2.10!

We had heard good reports about their Spanish themed evenings. We have used Odell's on a number of occasions and have been impressed with the food each time. During one visit we asked about the Spanish evenings only to be told that the next two events were fully booked. However, Dawn took our number and said that if their was a cancellation then she would let us know. A couple of weeks later I received a text letting me know that there was a table available.

Came here for breakfast and was not disappointed loved it great and tasty big portions and didn't charge for extras very cheap and lovely service the owner is lovely

Just had amazing breakfast really tasty and cant believe the price just under £5 anywhere else would of paid nearly double that. Lovely and cosy friendly staff thoroughly recommend.

I have been in here twice - once for breakfast, and once for a cuppa. For the breakfast, I asked for the vegetarian option. It sounded lovely with veggie sausages and veggie bacon. The owner said, "sorry, I don't have any of that at the moment, but I can cook you extra tomatoes and beans"! Thanks. Why is it on her menu, if she doesn't buy the stuff in. She spent most of the time chatting very loudly to her regulars about her current family problems. This was very unprofessional to say the least. It's a very small cafe, so my husband and I were sitting very close and had to endure this the whole time we were there. Dreadful. I'll never go back.

Odell's is probably the friendliest cafe I've ever been in. It is small (but has good toilets!), with very friendly service and obviously a loyal following of regular customers, all greeted by their first name. The bacon sandwiches are billed as 'the best in Rochford', which is being modest. They're much better than that and highly recommended! Well done.

My son and I walked into Rochford hoping for a nice lunch on a Saturday. Both the Horse and Groom and the Grey Goose don't serve food at this time. Why, I wonder ?.

Very small but friendly and the full english was fantastic. Have been back several times and will certainly be going again. Excellent quick and friendly service and the prices are very reasonable.

Food is excellent and very good value for money however it is quite a small area so gets busy therefore can be tight for space.

A great olace to go for Coffes and teas or lunches and you are always made welcome by Dawn the proprietor. Food is prepared freshly and plentiful. A full all day Breakfast even for those with large appetites is enough to set you up for the full day.

Love Odell's, imagine your living room, all cosy, small, quaint, with informality, and some of the best cook breakfasts this side of Essex. Nothing is to much, the girls are brilliant, the price is even more fantastic, and the welcome as warm as an Essex Summer's day. Yes you've got some lovely cafe in the local area, grant you that, but they are not fit in comparison, and I'm talking about the package. Also Odell's do Tapas nights, Seriously, I know, they are booked up until Aug 2017, I'm not kidding, so that says it all, ok to be clear, its not what I would call Tapas as such, lovely cooked Stewed Beef in Tomato and Pepper Sauce, Chicken Provencale (yes I know thats French) Lovely Meatballs and much much more. Put your names down and enjoy and if not, have a brekkie Saturday morning, you'll never cook at home again.

We always look forward to visiting, and never disappointed. If it is for breakfast I usually have the breakfast omelette, which is packed full of delicious and good quality sausage, bacon, fried onions and cheese. My partner usually has the full english. Loads of fresh toast using freshly baked bread from the local bakers, with real butter, a huge pot of tea, and good quality orange juice, all sets us up for the day nicely (and often serves as a great hangover cure!)

Odells is a small restaurant which the owner is working very hard at developing. Her food has always been good, she has added a licence and developed evening events. The welcome is always good and the food pleasant if sometimes a bit over cooked for my taste. If you have a big appetite then I whole heartedly recommend the full English. If you haven't the smoked salmon and scrambeled egg. Dogs are only allowed at the outdoor seating (which being right next to a busyish road junction is a slight drawback). Gluten-free food is available and substiutions made (e.g. hash browns for toast).

Lots of different courses of Turkish food. Tasty and very plentiful. Great value for money and a lovely friendly atmosphere.

We went for lunch and decided on sandwiches. The place is quite small and filled up while we sat there. The owner was friendly and it was obvious that several of the customers were local, regulars and known by name - which is ny to be expected in a small town like Rochford

Always a cheery welcome from the boss lady. Lovely food always fresh and will even tailor it to your specific requirements.

Came for a quick lunch alone and was not disappointed although wasn't sure what to expect as no menu online anywhere. I sat outside which is on a corner which can be busy, but is also lovely and sunny and room for two each at a table. inside its quaint and homey with a friendly atmosphere. It's quite small and in a very old building as is most of Rochford town giving it a lovely appearance and history. The menu had lovely wraps, sandwiches, jacket pots, homemade lasagna and a bit more too. I had the jacket potato with chilli and it was massive. Really tasty chilli and not dry at all, top marks! With a drink of coke it was £4:80 and well worth it. I would visit again for sure and 5 stars for the friendly service, great value and friendly place. Thanks ladies :)

I believe Odells only opens once a month in the evening, our friends found this little gem and invited us to go along with them.

Really enjoyed both our visits to O'Dells, firstly for coffees, and second time for lunch, which was a delicious pasta with chilli - really tasty meal and good value

we have visited Odells twice now, 1st time for really lovely freshly cooked breakfast and the 2nd time we were taken there by family for a speciality evening, the food was fresh, cooked well and served hot and with a friendly smile, we had a lovely evening and the host Dawn was welcoming and friendly she works very hard to make sure all guests are having a lovely time. the waitress was also very friendly a definite asset looking forward to return in the future.

Great for lunchtime snacks, plenty of choice. Also serve breakfast and is open some Saturday evenings for themed nights, which are excellent fun and real value for a good night.

Today was cold, wet, windy and therefore the perfect opportunity to hole up in a coffee shop for a little while. After a brief trip to Leigh On Sea cockle sheds we looked at a few places for a hot drink and a snack and the ones we saw were either heaving with people or just didn't look very appealing.

This is our first visit and am really surprised to find there aren't any previous reviews on Tripadvisor. Lovely place to go for a coffee and a snack. Good selection of sandwhiches etc and the filter coffee I had was excellent. The place is a bit small so may be busy certain times of the day. But it is very cosy and the young waitress that served us was very good. Will definitely return.
