Odana in Hambleton

My partner picked a takeaway up for my family, kebab and a parmesan and between the three of them shared it, one of them only having the parmo, one only having kebab, and the other having a bit of both. several hours later all three of them were violently unwell with food poisoning. They have not been able to keep anything down including water for over 24hrs and have been severely unwell and dehydrated. We have never had problems before but this has completely stopped any of them ever wanting to order ANY takeaway again never mind just Odano’s. This is the most severe case of food poisoning i’ve ever seen. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Quick service, tasty food, can’t complain, good parmo

Thought I'd give this place a go for delivery as I normally just stumble in on my way home after a night out. Turns out that without the several pints I normally have in me when getting food from this place their delivery isn't great. Ordered delivery on Friday 13th December. Order took an hour to arrive and it was unfortunately freezing cold when it did arrive. The Just Eat app told me my food was out for delivery about 25 minutes before it actually arrived. Food was poor. Chips were cold and soggy. Ordered a Pepperoni pizza and they had put the topping on first and then the cheese on top which is very weird (and unpleasant). Poor effort. Might try again in a few weeks time, but first impressions aren't good.

Moved here 3 months ago, tried every kebab in town and now will only go here always a great service, friendly and some great food, large portions at a great price.

The kebab I had was spot on. Only thing I'd have different is the sauces on the kebab instead of separate but that seems to be a Northallerton thing. Sauces always separate. The chilli sauce from here is amazing and why I want it all over my kebab 🥙

What can I say. Poor service after I ordered and was told my order would be with me in an hour. So when it got to one hour and 20 minutes later I rang again to be told they were very busy but the order had left the shop 10 minutes ago and would be with me in two minutes (I live one minutes drive away) so two minutes after my call the food arrived, driver ran from car to door took money not even an apology from him and walked slowly back to his car. The food was cold and just chucked in the box. Can safely say I won’t be ordering again any time soon, waste of £15 as most went in the bin.

Food take over 1 hour and was cold and refusing to pay for cold food and long wait and when calling me to try and find me rude and not good English and shouting and now banned me for telling them it’s not right. But they want money for cold long waiting deffo would not go and keep away as not polite and just out there to rob u

Always order from here as work close by, however ordered tonight and items were missing from order. Rang them to which they said they would deliver it, this was 10 mins from closing. Rang again to no answer so did not receive the food! Terrible service

Went here for the first time and was very impressed with how clean the shop and cooking looked. Staff very friendly and service with a smile. Very quick service....I was collecting so can't comment on delivery. Food was fantastic, cooked just right and very tasty. I found it good value for money too. I definitely recommend this shop.

Food arrived 45 minutes late and was just to say warm when it eventually arrived. This was a special birthday treat for our 11 year old daughter. We have given Odana a few chances, because we like the food, but every time it is cold, so we won't be ordered from Odana again

Doesn’t look up to much, but the food is great. Opens earlier than most places, so good for an early tea with kids. Haven’t been disappointed and have ordered lots over the years, for both collection and delivery

First time trying here last night and the pizza was great 👍 👌 😋 I went for the odana special my partner got the chicken burger. Really friendly staff. Will definitely be ordering here again. Forgot to take pictures as we were too busy enjoying it!

Pisstake, ordered 2 wraps and cheesy curly Fry’s there was a facial hair in the fries and the second wrap didn’t come then it took another 45 minutes for the second wrap to be delivered and charged me for that one too, rude at the door when questioned upon the second payment. Had to ring 3 times asking where the food was !!

Waited over 2 and 1/2 hours food was like still frozen from the freezer most. Was not!! lekka was nasty never agin for me, Asda reduced section quid a pizza should of been better, This place use too be the bomb! back in the day shame what its gone to Sheeeeeeesh! 😵‍💫 What a waste of £20

Ordered a rock solid 10” margarita which looked, and tasted like a Tesco value frozen pizza, absolutely rancid. Cheese and chip wraps were nice, however when you’re ordering similar things some sort of indication as to which is which would be helpful rather than picking it apart trying to figure out which one has which sauce inside.

Have been surprised by this place. The kebab meat is really nice, the mixed grill kebab is lovely, tandoori chicken is soft and moist, not dry like other places. They cook really good chips. The don’t mess up orders, can follow simple requests like “just cabbage in the salad” you wouldn’t believe how rare that is in Northallerton. Parking is a let down, but just use kwik fit car park across the road. All in all , this is the best place for a kebab in town.

I had order a donner kabab last night and it was well and truly the best kabab i have had from anywhere in northallerton, great portion sizes and really fresh donner meat

We been waiting over 1,5 hour. Everything came cold. Ordered half pound burger get a quoter. Missed dip and cheese cake is frozen as a stone. Ordered first time and never again. Try to call there but no answer. Avoid.

Only had chip from here so far when passing. Nice to see a takeaway that actually cooks their chip properly so that they are crispy. Well done! I will definitely be returning.

Given expected time and was over half an hour later. Didnt check when arrived but pizza ordered with stuff crust and extra jalapeno, had neither. Not as good as usual standard and charged for extras we didnt get.

Excellent service and lovely quality food

A very good kebab that I enjoyed , I’d of gave 5 stars but yet again it’s another takeaway that thinks it’s acceptable to serve a kebab with the sauces and salad in separate containers , we like our kebabs ready to eat as we walk home we don’t want to have to put it altogether first ☹️

The food was cold. I asked for no jalapeños on the pizza, i have never seen a pizza covered in jalapeños. The pizza had to go in the bin cause I have allergy of jalapeños. Disappointed

Unbelievable takeaway! Gets better every time. They genuinely knock spots off any other takeout in town! The foods always piping hot, prompt delivery, decent prices and the staff are polite, helpful & friendly. Would highly recommend if your unsure. We've tried pretty much all of them and ordering from this little gem, we won't go anywhere else. Fact!

Ordered on Just eat at 15:15 said it would be here at 18:20. I phoned asking where my order was the man on the phone was really rude, bluntly said 'your order is still in shop' and that was at 18:25. I asked how much longer will it be and he said '10-15mins' didn't give me a chance to say anything and just hung up. I only ordered spicy chicken wings, donner meat & chips and a small portion of donner meat. It's taken over an hour to be delivered. WILL NOT ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN!!!! very poor customers service!

Food was good but had to wait over 2 and half hours for delivery, the excuse for the delay ..they've been busy, ain't nobody that busy that parmo and a wrap should take that long. Driver apologetic but staff very unhelpful

Had to wait bloody 2 and a half hours for food and ordered 2 burgers and garlic sauce should not take this long it's bloody ridiculous if your after '' fast food'' don't go here
