A bit grubby and our drinks ended up in the bin because they tasted horrible.

Not our regular good service the assistant missed off a lot of our order and others being served after us

Best McDonald's around. Fast service, no dirty tables all over, Northallerton need to look at this branch shame, there's a branch in Northallerton but would rather travel to Leeming

Staff are rude and milkshake/mcflurry machine always broken conveniently. Always terrible, always forget half your order

Avoid at all cost shell in egg. Waited half hour for service had to resort to go to drive thru then took another 20 mins gave me a tea with no milk or anything worst McDonald's I've ever been to

Food, ordered a quarter pounder got given one of those small burger patties they use in the standard hamburgers definitely not a quarter pounder. Lol they managed to put that in a quarter pounder seaded bun. The thing was a mess, I would imagine this was done by a new recruit but come on they should be trained and mentored. The rest service ect no complaints I just feel cheated as I did not get what I payed for. To the manager good look with which ever employee did that because WOW that's a spectacular mistake. 3 star for Atmos coz I went through the drive through 3star for service they were good but have doc 2 star coz they didn't check the end product.

The busiest McDonald's I have been in for years. It was packed. Probably the location as the last McDonald's on the way West across the Pennines. It a proper weave in and out when you turn in, better signage needed. Once inside, the screens did not work to order, and there was no receipt if you did get a touch screen to work completely. Some would not let you pick medium or large so you could not advance, so you had to move to a different screen and start again, getting a code from your phone if you collect points. Nightmare. Rubbish everywhere with one poor staff member trying to address the big bins outside. I went and sat in the car it was so annoying and let Samie organise it, having more patience.

Chips were cold, and we sat in to eat aswell.

Food was hot and fresh, was a standard good Macdonald's. And the 3 for £3 deals back! Bargain!Pity it's in one of the worst service stations I've visited on the road though!

I was given a doughnut that was two hours past it's discard time and ordered a big Mac with bacon but it arrived with no bacon. Something isn't right here.

Ya know, the food was what I have come to expect from McDonalds. Milkshake was not well mixed, and there was some issue with the grill so I got fried chicken instead of grilled on my wrap. Whatever. The employees were pleasant, and also unaware. I actually feel like my 2 star rating is generous. The service was good. The manager cared and was hard working. I do love to see that.

Only visited as it was a motorway break, hate having to order on screens rather than speak to a human. Staff are reduced to robots without interaction of their customers, sad. I do really like their curry sauce though and wish I could buy it in jars!

I use this McD’s as my local in Northallerton is a disgrace. The staff at Leeming are friendly and helpful. Maybe the Northallerton store should take a leaf out of Leeming’s book

I know my 1 star looks odd when I have given 5 stars for food, but as much as I love the food itself I have never had a takeaway order correct in the last few years from Leeming Bar McDonalds. We learnt never to use the drive through as when we get home we always find something missing, from fries to burgers. We now go into the restaurant and order, then check our bags before we leave to make sure everything is correct. This last visit they had packed chicken nuggets when we had ordered chicken selects. So love the food, but always check you have been given what you ordered or you may get home to find one of the household has not got their burger or fries.

Luckily we got a seat that could accommodate our wheelchair. I do wish that there was more seating ar this location. Sooo busy!

Got my order wrong, no sauces after being served by the manager who then said he never saw them on the receipt.... Mate if I'm ordering chicken I need sauces! It's like they can't be bothered.... I'd find somewhere else.....

We visit twice a year when desperate because the food offer on the A1 is so poor. This is clean and the food is ok... With McDonalds you know what you are getting and it's not ideal. Bit the service was fast and it was piping hot.

Staff member who bought our food over to our table was extremely rude and more or less threw our food at us and said there you go Never before have I had such bad service from McDonald's Glad we won't have to stop there again

Food is getting smaller and prices higher. Women's toilets don't regularly flush. Self serve machines make space tight - a passing man burped in my face!

Follow the signs left after the main services and don't park in their car park like we did; it's a good 3 or 4 minute walk from there which isn't ideal in the rain! The food was ok, could've been a bit warmer but quick service.

One of the nicest and cleanest I've been in. I food actually looked like the pics... Which for a maccy d is unusual.

We had very good experience in this restaurant. The food were very tasty and freshly cooked. We loved it.

We thought we would have a drive through meal.....ended up waiting 30 minutes in total even after we had used the app. When the food arrived, half was missing. What is the point in these 'easy options' if they don't make your life easier?

Went through the drivethru, asked for a cup of tea. Got a hot chocolate. Ended up having to go into the restaurant to sort it

Came in this lunch time, all members of the team that we dealt with were so polite and friendly. Our food was fresh and hot. Best McDonald's we've had for a while. Well done team! X

I'd stopped visiting Mcdonald's because of bad experiences at other locations but this was great. Spotlessly clean and really friendly staff, especially Karen and Mike.

It was the only choice. We just needed a cup of tea. Predictably full of mums with young kids on sugar highs and teenagers hangin'out. Not the place for a quiet cuppa. We knew that!

Not great. Printer didn't work again! Fries were cold. Cheeseburger was cold and chewy. It was busy this lunchtime - full of screaming kids. We only went in for the speed and we were in a hurry but wished we hadn't. Don't like this place or the food. Staff were helpful though hence 3 stars.

Sorry McDonald's you've lost something over the years for me. Burgers are dry and tasteless. Tried again but no . Just too dry and not enjoyable Great coffee.

Due to footfall, food was very fresh. Nice interaction with floor staff. Standard drive through. Restaurant was clean as were the toilets.

Ordered food, Large Big Mac meal, cheeseburger and a pie. Got back to work 5 mins away. No fries in the bag, both Big Mac and Cheeseburger Luke warm at best. Worst Macdonalds experience so far 😤😤

Got here for breakfast on boxing day. Shockingly slow service, lots of staff at the back but nobody acctually serving. Food and drinks prepared but kept on the side for ages, was cold by the time it reached us. When asked if there are any problems with service- response limited to none. Not impressed.

They miss something off your order every single time it's a complete joke. Totally useless staff who aren't getting any better even though it's been open a few months.

I work close to this site to unfortunately I frequent it often. Staff regularly get orders wrong, and waiting times are often unacceptable. I have been stood waiting for a small breakfast order for 10 minutes, and have written this review during my wait. There is no sense of urgency from anyone in the business. Immediate Improvement is required. Edit: finally received the order with 2 items wrong. Come on guys….

Took 25 mins to get 2 coffees and muffins. Plenty of staff milling around , biting their nails and generally doing nothing. Senior staff need hair nets., too much hair flapping around. Got back on with our journey and the latte we paid for was just a normal coffee. Staff need to be told NOT to bite their nails , scratch their faces and scratch their greasy hair ! Absolutely disgusted at this today.

Staff look miserable. Some even look unwashed. The food was cold and looked old.

Needed a cr@p on my way to Newcastle Airport so pulled in here, clean toilets so that's gotta be five stars!

Got 2 hot chocolates think most of forgot to put any chocolate just hot water with a bit of colour.

We found it difficult to redeem Monopoly coupons....spending so much time trying to scan/input details. We were there for over sn hour!!

Leaming Bar is a little gem of a McDonalds. Clean, tidy and friendly. Busy, but not overcrowded. As it's on a new but fairly regular journey I'll be stopping there again.

McDonalds is McDonald’s. What more can I say?

Brilliant, I accidentally touched a lady's bottom whilst carrying my food, 5 stars from me.

The usual McDonalds but this one is quite awkwardly placed coming from the main motorway via various roundabouts and down back streets. Quite a bit of parking once you arrive and electric chargers also with the expected cleanliness. As this was a late night visit service seemed more balanced towards the drive thru and using self service points as I was ignored when trying to order. Once orders went in the order arrived quickly and the cleaning staff member was very polite and professional.

It was as busy as can be, but it's still the M we love.

As its a treat we were very disappointed ordered the meal on the app when we arrived it took ages to get our order people who came in after us and ordered at the counter were served before us, because the kids had waited for ages we said they could have a mcflurry , went back in waited to be served only to be told abruptly there were no mc flurries as the machine wasn't working as it was only 12.30pm , I think a sign should has been displayed to say no ice cream or milk shakes, to save queueing, and to stop the kids been disappointed, not great when it was a treat

Have used this McDonald's a lot over the years on the way to Scotland to see relatives. It's a bit harder to get to now since that they moved the A1 junction, but it's worth the slight detour to get to a better than average McDonald's.

Always stop off here when passing on motorway journeys. Not the easiest place to get to since the change of road layout.

McDinalds used to be fast food. Not so much now.

Did the job filled a space. what you would expect from mcdonalds.

The people were not parking in the right places where they were told to park to wait for the order. This lead to confusion with the staff that ended up giving the food to the people who weren’t parked where they were supposed to be.

Went there from lightwater valley ordered food my burger and wife's burgers were stone cold so took back to get replaced and still weren't greatly cooked never took daughters back and she hasnt stopped throwing up since avoid

Good burgers and food. They rush orders a little and got a burger wrong. The shift manager had to go and fix the problem himself. Apologised for the mistake and was on it. Shouldn't be happening even when it wasn't that busy. Disappointing a little hope it doesn't happen again.

Dear God no.. I thought I had had some bad customer experience but no, this entire area is the most awful service, location, and backdrop. ADAM the manager on the day has the customer service skills of an ice hammer to the head after the drive thru chernobl with derelict Bates Motel to the left and a new staff member making a complete shambles of our order.... Payment window and totally incorrect value to challenge and viola Adam !! Tap tap tap tap tap not listening to its done.. how much is it ... its done ... it was wrong ... its sorted ... to next window... Can I have receipt please at next window to check as ... heeeeeeres Adam... its done... And a battle for receipt.... as been overcharged and order is whats Adam has ordered not us... Here's a receipt and a print out..... To get and eat wrong order infront of a derelict motel ... I thought I had found the most awful McDonald's but I've been shown wrong... this is now the most awful knocking Boston off ..... Keep going if you get this in your services stop, the site is a 1961 original and not had a penny of investment since and the McDonald’s was shoe horned next to this and thought if it's next to sh1t we.can behave like sh1t... Don't go there as it has electric charges its a marketing scam...

Not a bad McDonald's in itself but someone over there really needs to sort their opening hours online out. They don't correspond to the actual times it's open which is incredibly frustrating. Happy to amend this review once that is done.

The Gent's toilets were disgusting.

Just been to Leeming Bar, quite busy & 2pm must be a change over shift time. Mass exodus of staff either leaving or going out for a smoke. Big table with a children's "party" as you make expect on a Saturday afternoon, but one young male employee walked past them with a CIGARETTE in his mouth! Not lit - but strutted through to the exit like the "big I am" & it didn't look like it had been that long since he was a kid himself. Disgusting behaviour in a family food restaurant, especially by a member of staff.

Whoever made my burger on the 16th of June deserves a raise, and my server “Beth” was very helpful. ❤️

Didn't catch the name of the manager with black hair in a bun but her attitude while I was in was absolutely vile. We were missing a straw with our order so had to go up and get one and there was no hospitality whatsoever from her. Also had the audacity to walk out of the store and proper bollock some poor lad in front of customers, should be ashamed of herself going on like that.
