I had a takeaway delivery (i cant remember the last time i bought one so ive jusy put any date so i could fill this in With regards to delivery service I mark them 100%&more. I am vulnetable due to a lung condition I requested that they wear a mask when delivering my food & they have kindly agreed to so So i am more than happy Regarding the food. Its absolutely lovely I always order my favourite which is a chicken sweetcorn soup chicken chow mein & prawn dumplings & every time its been delicious - never had any isdues at all so 100%&more very happy too All in all i am extremely happy with the food & the service ive always been provided as theyve gone over & above the call of duty by agreeing to erar a mask I would ALWAYS revommend them to people. I am a very satified customer They are EXEMPLARY So thank you to all members if staff at Ocean Lounge

Excellent restaurant plenty of choice been here several times before and would highly recommend it for price and quality.

We went to celebrate my Mums birthday and we all had a fantastic time. Food and service were incredible and can highly recommend.

I tend to just have a take away. I love the food- , & theres lots of varied choices on the menu Ive never eaten in the restaurant but going off my opinion of the food ive had as a takeaway I can categorrically say the food is absolutely lovely & I will be giving it 5 full marks (100%) Its a pleasure to eat the food from Ocean lounge - The service is very very friendly indeed The delivery driver provides a FANTASTIC service too As I am medically vulnerable I have requested that the driver wear a mask & he has agreed to do so every single time so I am very happy with that He also provides a very friendly service indeed I would always recommend it if I was asked to do so I would highly recommend it You get a really decent portion for your money All in all I am extremely happy with everything - Fantastic food, Fantastic Service Whenever I want a chinese meal I would always phone Ocean Lounge Their standards are very high indeed Absolutely First Class in my opinion I can also recommend their fish sausage etc & their chips

Went here with my 2 daughters. Lovely family environment. We were made to feel really welcome and the food was incredible. The portions were generous sizes and tasted great. The lady who served us was warm, friendly and lovely with kids. The cocktails were like rocket fuel! Would definitely recommend this place

The lady who served us with polite and nice. The food not so nice though. The coconut and galanghal soup was watery coconut milk with just mushrooms and tomatoes thrown in it. The dim sum i had was whole mushrooms fried in awful batter. Our drink was tinned lager which we were charged £6 a can. The main had loads of whole tomatoes in. The only thing i enjoyed was the chocolate mints and ice cream which was probably from home bargains. Sorry but i wont be coming here again ever. Total waste of time and money.

Have lived locally for years but never got round to trying this place - we have been missing out! The menu is extensive, and the food was delicious - large portions and nice & hot. The service was just as good, really happy, lovely staff. We’ll definitely be back. Thank-you

food is the best ever, so fresh and very well presented. They do a take away and delivery service as well. The place is so clean and well presented, it can be a bit chilli as the place is so big. Only let down is the service for drinks, they concentrate on every aspect of servicing, cleaning, etc but not very quick at getting your drinks. I order a bottle of wine so I dont have to wait.

The food is amazing, big portions, nice and served hot. Sadly I'm guessing the heating was broken, so the restaurant was freezing cold. Staff were lively and orders perfect and correct. Just too cold on a winters night to sit comfortably with no heat.

Myself and a friend went here this evening. We had the 2 person banquet. Prawn crackers were given to us whilst we looked at the menu. The house wine was very nice and for starters the lady brought out delicious chicken and sweet corn soup. She then brought out a platter of spring rolls, sumosas, Ribs and seaweed which was beautiful. We then had the main which was sweat and sour chicken and egg fried rice and a side of salt and pepper chips. The presentation was something else and flowers have been carved out of carrots. The meal was finished with chocolate mints and fortune cookies. The meal was reasonably priced and a 10% surcharge is added on for a tip which I think is fair enough. The restaurant is clean and tidy and very traditional Chinese and relaxing Chinese music. The lady who served us was really nice. Would definitely go again and highly recommend!

Been coming here with my family for a couple of years now and we can’t stay away! The food is absolutely amazing, we have all tried many different things and they all taste fresh and different. Service is also fantastic, they frequently remember our orders and treat us very well, always pleased to see us and make sure that we always have everything we want. I would definitely recommend! Please visit this hidden gem and give it the recognition it truly deserves!

We went for a birthday. There was 8 of us. Was lovely decorated with balloon and birthday bannors. We sat down at the table and had menus over. 2 of our party had ordered drinks at the bar, when they bought them over they never thought to ask the rest of us if we wanted a drink, we had to say what about us. Even when we ordered drinks still forgot 1 of our drinks. Half hour in we eventually ordered our food. It took over a hour to get some prawn crackers. Food came out really slow, duck spring rolls were okay, the salt and pepper chicken just tasted really salty(always ate it from there never tasted like that before). We asked them for the bill it took 20 mins to bring the bills then took another 10 mins to split the bill, but we tried to tell her we wanted to pay now as we had to go but the women wouldn’t understand. It took over 2hrs for a 2 course meal. We have been loads of time, but never had service this slow in all time we have been

Love this little gem of a place. Both eating in and taking away is highly recommend. Never overly busy which means service is always good. Average prices and child friendly. I often come with with 5 & 13 year old to eat in

Tuesday night we are in holiday mood going away day after and decided to go and sit in the restaurant instead of takeaway. Special menu £12 for 4 courses It was amazing! Fabulous food lots of it and yummy! Will definitely return

Ordered a mixed Chinese and Thai takeaway, service was very good, with a call to say the bill was calculated wrong and it was actually cheaper. Food was delivered quickly, hot and ready to enjoy. Highlights were Thai ribs, beef satay and the corn fritters. Definitely a great choice!

The selection on the menu is unreal, so much to choose from and when the food comes to the table it is mouth watering. I can recommend the satay chicken and crispy shredded beef. We had great evening and the price was pretty good too. You will have a good meal here.

Me and my husband came here yesterday for the first time. The food was ok but very average. We were the only ones in the restraunt which is fine but we felt like we felt like we shouldn't have been there. It had no atmosphere and the decor was very dated. We would maybe try a takeaway instead of sitting in next time.

We order here quite a lot from here and the food is always fresh and delicious. Try the num tok beef salad it’s amazing. There Chinese and Thai options so enough to suit everyone. The lady on the phone is great and the delivery is quick. It knocks the socks off others in the area.

Visited this restaurant today with friends and can honestly say one of best Thai/Chinese restaurants I have been to. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and never rushed you and the food was superb and plentiful. It is certainly worth travelling to and I fully recommend it.

I have eaten in restaurant side before with great food though no atmosphere due to lack of customers. First time for a takeaway. First of all very polite service was a welcome start. Food was freshly cooked and still piping hot when we got it home. Yeoung Chow fried rice was plentiful, light and filled with tempting pieces of chicken, char sui, prawns and more. Starters of chui mai and prawn toast were well cooked. Mains of crispy chicken and a duck dish excelled and were generous in portion.

Came with friends there was 6 of us the place was dead noone was in so service should not of been dead slow as it was. One member of staff coming in and out of kitchen with part orders and we had to keep telling her what was missing from our order.

I went for my 15th birthday with my family and friends and the service was very personal and the owners were lovely. food was impeccable and brought out a cheesecake and sang happy birthday. Couldnt fault any of it absolutely brilliant

Used to eat here alot not been for a while visited again tonight food has gone really downhill, not alot of taste to anything our mains sizzling fillet steak was chewy, I've never had a chewy fillet steak and sweet and sour chicken no taste and cold. Explained this to the waitress who took our food back into the kitchen to then come back out and say they had all tasted our food and there was nothing wrong with it (I have never known a restraunt taste customers food or if they do tell them so to tell them they are wrong). Cheap an nasty ingredients comes to mind.

Went to celebrate a friends 50th birthday. Despite Ordering ahead Could not cope with the 19 people and we ended up serving the meals and passing them down the table. Service was awful food cold and each course served at different times, could live with that but then find hair in meal 10 times longer than my own, they then said the black hair was white and no on of theirs. I eat out a lot with business and work for the food industry, this is the worse kind of food hygiene possible.

Had a great meal and the pad thai was excellent. The corn fritters were also very good and staff/service also good. Will be back soon

Just had a meal delivered from this place for the first time and never again, it cost £25 and we left all of it, everything was greasy tasted old and warmed up, we have eaten chinese food at least once a week for years and this has to be one of the worst ever, rang to complain and told them it did not taste fresh and they just said sorry we just cooked it, well it took 25 minutes from ordering to delivery, very quick to say they had to cook 3 starters one main rice and chips, dont order from here you will waste your money .

Not used a lounge for a long time but because our flight from terminal 3 Manchester was early evening we did so and we were not disappointed why we have not used it more I cannot think from entering it was nothing more than a great experience nothing was to much trouble cannot wait until next time.

Visited on a Monday night, 8 of us in the party. The 4 course meal for £12 is excellent value for money, the taste, service and presentation was faultless. The waitress Anna was so much fun and made us feel so welcoming she made us laugh and nothing was too much trouble for her she ran around all night even helping with the takeaway deliveries. The atmosphere is very comfortable. I have nothing negative to say about my time there. Definitely visit on a Monday or Tuesday evening to take advantage of the great special offer.

Visited here to celebrate my Mums recent birthday. We opted for the set menu which included a choice of soup, a mixed starter platter, two mains and rice! The food was just as yummy as I remembered and the mojito was amazing! Will be back!

Uno de nuestros lugares favoritos para comer en Middleton, pero desafortunadamente nuestra última visita habían estado a la altura de los estándares normalmente alta. La comida era normal, el ambiente y el servicio simplemente plana adecuado. También había un pelo en mi sopa (entrante) y uno en el plato principal de mi pareja. Aunque entendemos en ocasiones errores como esto puede ocurrir (aunque no debería donde la comida es afectado. ) una disculpa en este caso hubiera sido suficiente. Sin embargo, el camarero no ofreció tal cosa y en vez insistió en que el chef era bald! Con tantos lugares disponibles para comer no regresaremos en el futuro.

Went for a meal with my wife for valentine's night.. ordered the special fusion menue of Thai and Chinese food. They made a great effort with balloons and decorations so the place looked perfect for the occasion. Sat down at 7.00 and left after 6 courses at 10.00 pm Very full and Very happy. This place is a gem so if you haven't already tried it... Give it a go. You will not be disappointed

I had never noticed this place before. I took my Mum there for tea. We bot really enjoyed it. Wonderful food, great service, reasonable price. The place was quiet which we enjoyed I just hope others realise it is there its well worth a visit. :)

bloody awful everything we had was either very greasy or over cooked and the curry tasted terrible, staff didn't seem bothered when we complained, won't be going back here ever.

I visited here on Saturday 10th December about 6pm. It was quiet which was nice, only 2 other tables in. First off, this place does a lovely pint of Becks. Fill your boots. For starter I shared the Thai starter. Consisted of amazing Thai fish cakes, sore ribs in a wonderful dark soy sauce, chicken wings and corn fritter. All the food was really tasty. A good portion for 2. For main I went with a nice Thai red curry with rice. A tasty, spicy and flavoursome dish. As good as any I have eaten in Thailand. The service was attentive and efficient. Overall a lovely place for authentic tasting Thai food. 4 pints, a shared started, 2 red Thai curries, steamedRice and sticky rice: £50. Not quite the same Thai price though!

We had a dim sum starter with garlic spare ribs to begin, with crispy beef and seafood sizzler for the main. It was delicious, and for £46 with a bottle of wine, very good value. It was a Thursday so very quiet with only another table of three present, but that didn't take anything away. Highly recommended.

Although primarily a takeaway it is in an old pub so restaurant is quite large but old fashioned interior.Heat is by gas heater so if cold day go wrapped up.Food is worth a visit though.

I took my wife and family for a meal to the Ocean Lounge and wasn't disappointed. The meal and service were excellent and reasonably priced, I would recommend it.

Very nice restaurant serving a wide range of Chinese and Thai food. The place is always clean and the staff are very welcoming. Only issue I have is that as an Amex traveller they don'y accept American Express.

My adorable friend may has introduced me to this wonderful little place in midd the quality of food and service is second to none Really enjoyed the hor fun noodles and weeping tiger recommend by the waitress Ida was delish thank you all wonderfull evening will defiantly return

A pleasant place to eat, on the whole staff are attentive. The food is quite good offering a mixture of Chinese and Thai dishes I think however the Thai dishes are toned down to cater for most peoples tastes, it doesn't appear to specialise in any of chinas regional cooking but has a mixture of all on offer.

We have both eaten at and ordered take away from the Ocean Lounge. We have not had a bad meal yet. The service can be a little patchy but the main server is so helpful and friendly that it's not a problem. He even made chopsticks for our children that would be easy to use for them. I like the range and choice of dishes y suit all tastes but the main choices are Thai or Chinese.

We come here often as we are local and its a nice little venue with good food. Them Thai prawn crackers are so addictive.Its never really busy so no long waiting times on service or food.We will visit again.They also cater for large numbers also so ideal as a family get together and they are licenced and sell a variety of alcoholic drinks

Gone again for a mon/Tuesday special.Food as good as normal but service virtually none existing. If you can put up with having to chase for cutlery napkins ice cream and bill, food on these nights is good value.Main menu on other nights has good selection of offers.If in a rush though probably not best place to go anymore.Hope it improves as food is great.

The ocean lounge is an excellent place for dining out,serving Thai and Chinese food at very reasonable prices.would highly recommend.

We rang up for a takeaway for delivery. The lady who took the order was very pleasant and helpful. Went through my order to make sure everything was correct and told me about the menu offers. We were offered free prawn crackers or a couple of cans of drink which was nice. She told me the price to pay and also the delivery time. The food was gorgeous. Hot fresh And delivered on time. I'm so glad we have found a decent Chinese takeaway in Middleton and will definitely be ordering again soon, there are a lot of dishes on the menu we would like to try.

I visited here with 3 friends 2 weeks before Christmas, we were the only people in the restaurant, the food was good but got our order wrong, missed out a complete course then tried to charge us for it, I wouldn't like to be in there when it's busy if they can't get it right for 1 table of 4 !! Not somewhere I will return to.

Ordered a Thai takeaway on New Year's Eve night only took 40 mins to arrive. Had a mixed platter starter and Thai green curry with rice and noodles it was delicious so tasty and really hot when it arrived very impressed with the take away service

We visited Ocean Lounge for a pre-Christmas family get together and were treated to very tasty freshly prepared food and a warm welcome with constant smiles. The menu catered well for three vegetarians and the green leaf tea was the perfect accompaniment to the food. Would recommend visiting - a hidden treasure!

Called into the Ocean Lounge late on Sunday evening after a days work, welcomed by friendly staff, the restaurant is very clean and the food superb. Worth a visit.

My wife and I Visited here on Saturday Night and I have to say it was above our expectations. The service was great and very attentive, my wife loves cocktails and when she asked for something that wasn't on the menu, one member of staff took it upon himself to find the recipe and served her a perfect amaretto sour. The food was excellent and if anything , there was too much, we had to take our main course home. Nothing was too much trouble.We'll be back !!

Bought fish and chips but threw most of it away, flavourless fish, burnt hard chips and the peas were awful. We had eaten the Thai food before from here and it was average at best. To wont be eating here again.

A little hidden gem. Food is delicious and staff lovely as always. Also do some amazing cocktails. We have been several times as live round the corner so really convenient if fancy a nice sit down meal at good price in walking distance. Our favourites are the Thai dishes just delicious. Surprised to see the have an offer on. T courses for 12. That's just giving the food away. Can only assume they are trying to bring in business during week as it tends to be quiet for them due to location. Great for big groups as well. Keep up the good work and thankyou

Our first visit to this Chinese & Thai restaurant in middleton midway between Manchester & Oldham.A comfortable relaxed dining room, if a little sombre. But it's the food that matters and wow you're in for a real treat.We chose the banquet, a multichoice ,multicourse delight of the very highest quality, excellent portion sizes & of first rate quality. From the friendly welcome to the arrival of each course, it was a highly satisfying experience. Obviously it's up to you what you choose from the comprehensive menu, but from OUR experience every dish was delicious ,so experiment. Great meal, Great value. Wer e fussy when it comes to oriental food, there's so much depressingly average fare about, but choose THIS venue and you're in for a rare treat indeed!

Quite quiet but does well on takeaways.Thing is though its cheaper to eat in and have a banquet style meal than buy takeaway on above dates.

Ordered takeaway was ok nothing special had better elsewhere ,do not order chips warmed up frozen and hard not nice ,eaten in restaurant last year and was nice wont order takeaway there again.

Take away on the Friday which we have no complaints and the service was amazing. On the Saturday eat in with 1 adult, 2 teenagers and a toddler. Once again no complaints. A good place to eat in or take away and the prices are not over priced

Overall a fantastic meal however a little disappointed with the Garlic Ribs ( not garlicky enough ), staff attentive ( thanks Jack!) and polite. Would recommend and will be returning.

Undercooked Fish, Dry Rice, Stone cold Steak Rolls. Will not be returning.... Staff decided to have a conversation over my food, very unhygienic....

I can recommend this restaurant for its Chinese and Thai menu choices. It's one of the very few decent restaurants in Middleton. Food is tasty and fresh. Waiting staff are friendly and helpful. Why travel miles when there is such a find on your doorstep? The lunch offer at weekend is exceptionally good value - £10 for a very substantial meal including good menu options.

Visited here on a Tuesday and ordered from the "special" menu, £10 for 4 courses, 4 choices of soups to start. Ribs, chicken skewers, spring rolls, etc. Then a choice of meat with any one of a choice of sauces. Noodles, rice. Ice cream or coffee for dessert. Food was very tasty and served quickly. Service good with friendly staff. Definitely recommend here for great value. They also have a full menu of Thai food if you like really spicy.! And take away.

We recently ordered a takeaway from here and were so impressed we decided to visit. The restaurant did not let us down. The atmosphere inside is lovely and very welcoming. The service staff are extremely helpful and give you good advice if you're unsure what to order. The food was delicious especially the aromatic duck. We couldn't believe how reasonably priced the food was. Definitely worth a visit!

Have been on many occasions as have been satisfied. However on this occasion we rang for a delivery. The ordering was smooth and okay or that's what we thought until the food around. The lemon chicken looked like it was cooked the day before with no sauce and received four gravies to the one we ordered. When we rang to address the issues the young lad at the end of he phone laughed and said 'it's not my problem you got what you ordered' and put the phone down.

I had never had Thai before so with nothing to compare it to I can only say that what I had was very impressive.

Always excellent food from the Take Away menu. Piping hot and delivered in reasonable time from ordering on the 'phone. Have had many takeaways over the past year or so & never had a bad meal at all.

We've eaten here quite a number of times, and it has always exceeded our expectations.The quality and quantity have always been good, so much so in fact I hope to take most of the family on Christmas eve.Great job by the staff and look forward to going again on Chrsitmas Eve.

We visit this restaurant about every month all the food we have ordered is of a high quality and served piping hot all at a very reasonable price the only problem we have especially in the winter is the marble tables are very cold we feel they need proper table cloths to cover the marble tables and tea lights to keep the food warm as you really have to eat quickly before the food goes cold especially when there is a few of you and you are sharing the dishes

Ordered take away, thought we would try somewhere new and the reviews looked good. Chips tasted like deep fried cheap frozen chips and the fried rice had a funny plasticky taste like it had been sat there all day. Crispy beef looked nice all the veg looked and tasted fresh but the beef didn't really taste like it had beef in it. Prawn crackers were nice and the curry sauce was the best thing about the meal! Would I eat there again? No.

Found this restaurant by chance, saw other good reviews. It's on a street in a residential area, we parked just around the corner.We arrived at 7pm on a Saturday night, there were only 2 other diners, however it soon started to fill up.The menu is extensive, a mixture of Thai, Indian and Chinese dishes. There are also some set menu options. The staff were really polite, just the right amount of attentiveness.We ordered starters, delicious, good size, didn't have to wait too long. Our main courses were equally as lovely. The waitress checked if we were ready for our main courses. The dessert menu was better than expected, a good selection of ice-cream and some traditional Thai desserts. Overall a great meal and with drinks and a shared dessert it came to £45.

Ordered in excess of £20of food arrived late The prawn crackers were soft, when I called to asked for fresh one I was told they would bring for free with my next order, when I said I wanted them this time they told me not to order from them again! Terrible customer service!

Just got takeaway from this restaurant and the food was fantastic. The portions were large as well so it was really good value too. There is a good range of both Chinese and Thai dishes on the menu, we choose a quite a few dishes and they were all good.

Had several meals from here ,all of which are of top quality , standard is always high, very clean and great friendly service .Great for kids too .The duck is one of the best we have had, very filling indeed.Worth a visit and you will be back for more

I've been a few times, I had my sons birthday there really good food, recently my daughter turned 18 there was 16 of us, it was fabulous they put up all the decorations I'd dropped of earlier in the day and added some of there own. They brought the cake out, my daughter received a lovely bottle of red wine in a silver bag as a present from them the food was superb the staff are really lovely people they can't don't enough for you really friendly, try it if you fancy a nice meal you won't be disappointed.
