Absolutely love Wong Ho. We have been coming to this Chinese for years and it's the only Chinese we will eat from. The food is delicious everytime, Michael the owner is fabulous so friendly and kind to our children, we always feel like we are treated like family. The service is top quality and customer service is simple the best.

First time getting takeaway, really good!! Defo worth the drive from todmorden and will 100% be ordering again. Thanks!

Been meaning to try here for a while. Can’t believe we didn’t do it sooner. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and the food was even better. Clean, fresh, tasty, hot… and generous portions - just great. We even ordered an extra portion of salt and pepper ribs to take home with us!! Will definitely be returning

Lovely evening in the Wong Ho, hot & sour soup was spot on, crispy duck just right and chilli king prawn and squid made a nice change. My Wife maintains hers was the best Chinese meal she had tasted in years. Service was first class, generous portions, good value and really friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be going back soon.

Salt and pepper chicken was drier than ghandi's flip flop.

Fantastic meal again last night the service was brilliant we was well looked after and the food was excellent as usual, Hot and sour soup a must Beef Black Bean Sauce, Chow mean, Duck in Plum Sauce ,Chicken in Garlic sauce Mushroom Curry everything was perfect and very tasty fabulous Restaurant and a must to visit, or even order a takeaway. A real Jewel in the Crown right on our doorstep

Ordered a takeaway whilst visiting family and it is quite simply the worst I have ever had. My wife ordered the Yong Chow fried rice, this came as a solid block with rice that had been overcooked to the point there was no shape or texture to it. One slice or two. Very little meat or anything else in it. 3 portions of fried rice were the same, all had to go back. Apparently they were having trouble cooking the rice. It looke like it had been batch cooked a long time ago and just left. Replacement for my wife was crispy chilli beef, this had a hair in it Crispy lamb wad anything but, very chewy as were the spare ribs. Chips were cheap frozen ones. Very very poor avoid at all costs, would have had 0 rating if that was possible

I honestly don’t understand these reviews! We went as a family of 6 for a family meal and it’s one of the best Chinese I have ever had. The staff were amazing and honestly could not have done more for us. We all had the banquet and there was so much food for the price. I can’t wait to go again!! Thank you Wong Ho and especially the gentleman who served us you gave my Dad a wonderful birthday!! Xx

Soup like water, meat tasted awful. And when a Chinese can't get rice right you know there's a problem. Definitely will not return.

I would never usually go out of my way to write a review, but I am appalled, WONG HO LITTLEBOROUGH may have well given me vegetable oil for the soup and burnt beef tasted old and burnt like it had been warmed up in a microwave and a cabbage leaf put on the bottom of the tub to look fresh?the rice was ok but I left it still as it smelt dirty/not fresh/ like the place needs a good clean and some new pans. I haven’t had a takeaway for 5 months and I thought this would be a treat, I was wrong and ended up making toast. I am so disappointed. I would highly recommend making your own to save your money or finding another Chinese.

Had a takeaway from here this weekend. Very nice, hot, good quality food. Would recommend and definitely will be visiting again. Some dishes can be expensive but I would expect with the quality.

Fast delivery but the food was very poor I'm sad to say dry chips watery curry and the chow mein was poor and tasteless sorry Wong hi won't be ordering again

I'm really not sure whether people have ever been to a decent Chinese restaurant, but this is definitely not one for me. Hai Kau was lovely and to die for but the Seaweed (nice and crisp how it should be) but a funny, not so nice oily taste to it, the Salt & Pepper Ribs had the same, but had that crispy dry look but lacked lustre, not enough onions, chillies & garlic for me and to be honest, the Ribs were more fat than meat. I finished with Salt & Pepper King Prawns but could taste more Chinese 5 Spice than anything else. Sorry guys, a bit of a let down here

Excellent takeaway. Dim sum followed by Chicken Satay and fried rice. Delicious and tasty. The satay was quite spicy, but good.

Having tried a few of the local chinese takeways now I can safely say this is by far our favourite. Firstly the food is great! Both the salt + pepper chicken and Chilli + sesame chicken are just divine! Highly recommend the chow mein dishes and you cant go wrong with a dim sum for one or two if your really hungry! Staff are always friendly and helpful, service is fast (Have only ever collected so cannot speak for the delivery side of things) Overall this chinese has got to be one of if not the best chinese in the area and I will definitely be dining in once the current covid situation is over.

we are sorry you didn't enjoy your meal but please be fair at the same time. When you complaining about vermicilla having no prawns and meatless, our vermcilla has always been cooked with no prawns and the meat is finely cut which is probably why you say it's meatless. You complaining about our BBQ ribs with no sauce, again we never have sauce in out BBQ ribs and we cover it with syrup instead. when you warn others to say away because we have a new chef, we have been established for 16 years and in those 16 years we always had the same chef cooking. on Saturday we sold alot vermicilla, ribs, rice etc, and for you to be the first to write that you paid £30 for this rubbish, that is very unfair. the food on the day might not be to your personal preference doesn't mean it's rubbish. and regarding the refund, we have already refunded £15 back to you. I hope find you a better take away and please don't accuse our food being rubbish.

30 pounds for this rubbish all watery taste no meat in vermacheli. This use to be best in Rochdale now worse place ever. my advice go elsewhere the chef must be new avoid I rang and all there could do was say sorry no refund. Try fat panda littleborough I miss it as it closed early hence I went here.

Went here for a family birthday with 6 other family members was told the food was good so thought we would give it a try We couldn't have been more happy we where looked after the minute we walked through the door to the minute we left food was unbelievable and there portion sizes where more than adequate staff couldn't do enough to help and any left overs where boxed up so we could take them home Overall a good night out and it wont be our last visit 👌

Fabulous traditional Chinese restaurant and takeaway in the centre of Littleborough. The Wong Ho special with three different types of prawns in a delicious sauce is my favourite dish. We usually have takeaway, but I loved it sitting in this evening. My husband really enjoyed his special chow mein. A great last minute dinner. Just what we needed.

We have just ordered a take away for our family and have had to throw most of it away. Hot and Sour soup was like dish water and very oily as was the curry sauce we were all very disappointed and will definitely not be going again.

Received there take away menu through the door thought have it ago it was amazing and delivered within 20mins which is really strange as our normal Chinese takes over an hour if you are lucky would recommend to any one

Ordered a banquet for two food was fantastic, only negative thing was we felt rushed, could understand if it was busy, we asked for a break before our main course, she said yes but 5 minutes later came back asking where we ready for main course now !!

Took my wife for her 50th Birthday on the 3rd September and we were treated like royalty. Michael was so helpful and attended topping up our drinks and sorting anything we wanted to take away into containers. Thanks for making our night sooo special

Ginger & spring onion sauce was to die for, never mind the scallops!! Green peppers & black bean sauce was brill too; I personally, liked the peppers being chopped up in to small pieces. Sue

Had Chinese food all over the world... Even in Hong Kong. But I have just enjoyed the best I have had for many a year. Excellent food and great service 😎

Not good. Dirty basket with prawn crackers in. Rubbery dry boiled or microwave duck. Mushy fried rice with no flavour. When i said I wasn't paying for the main meal nobody asked why!! Dated deco and very disappointed. Wouldn't like to see the kitchen.

Services is excellent & the food was outstanding, 6 of us went on a Friday night and each dish was delicious. The restaurant had a really good atmosphere and the staff are so friendly. Will be back very soon 👍👍👍

We attended for a family meal and found the food and service to be as good as we have ever had. This restaurant doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel but consistently provides a quality far exceeding what you might expect from your local Chinese. Always a pleasure and won’t be long before we will be back.

I have to say....i was really worried about taking my friends to wong ho.. I have been previously several times. But not in the last couple of years. I booked for Saturday night. Then looked at the horrible things mentioned on here. I needent have worried. From walking through the door. We were made to feel welcome. The food was hot and tasty. Priced ok.

Expensive, bland and small portion sizes

There was no meat in the meat spring rolls and the egg fried rice was rice pudding it was awful. Soup bland and watery. We used to go to wong ho's all the time food really gone down hill

We ordered a delivery for 3 different things. One item was missing, one was not what we ordered, and the other was stone cold.

First of all, wouldn’t recommend. Here’s why... Waiter (presumably owner) very sarcastic, unhelpful and annoying. I got a southern comfort and lemonade which tasted vile and was undrinkable. It was definitely rum and lemonade however the waiter refused to believe me.

Bought a takeaway early on a Monday evening. When we got home we found that the rice was sodden and overcooked - obviously reheated from the previous evening. We had to throw it away untouched.

I’ve used this restaurant many times over the years, to eat in & takeaway. The food used to be top notch and tastey. However this evenings takeaway wasn’t the best and in my opinion the quality of the food has gone downhill. Overpriced and poor quality.

I ordered take away and drove to collect from Todmorden I had heard this place was good. If I was served that tripe in a restaurant I’d walk out.

Food was fine in a pinch as there are no good Chinese takeaways that deliver where I live. Fairly overpriced and the duck was dripping in grease.

Lived in Tod for over a year and tried all the Chinese takeaways and they have all been disappointing. Came here today and it was amazing. Tastes fresh, not greasy and stodgy, will definitely be coming back! Staff were lovely too!

We called up to ask about their takeout menu to see if any of their vegetarian options were also vegan. We spoke to a man who was completely unwilling to help and very rude about our dietary requirements. Would not recommend as they clearly have no idea what goes into their food.

Restaurant was dull and in need of redecoration however although the food was good and the service effecient I think charging over £5 for two glasses of soda water is over the top and a bit of a rip off.

We have had a couple of takeaways from here before but forgot how good the food was. We had some dim sum, then pork with tomatoes, lemon chicken and garlic pak choi .

The dishes were bland, might have even tasted a bit like dish water. Rice was stuck together and stodgy, as if the rice had been left overnight. Quite frankly it was awful, not to mention expensive.

Old fashioned decor and small restaurant, but uncomfortably crowded. Most tables are physically joined with those of others and you are as close to strangers as you are to your own party! That really isn't good.

Some of the best Chinese in Rochdale (it's a bit out of the way from the Town Centre) but it's worth it. The inside of the restaurant is comfortable and cosy with great service. Whether eating in or taking away, some would say this is not the cheapest in Rochdale but the food quality is worth it. So a take away for a family of 4 may be a few £ more but it's very delicious and the menu has some unique items other take aways don't have.

A visit to Wong Ho's is like stepping back in time, it's probably not been updated for 10-20 years but it's quirky and always clean. Staff are very attentive, always on hand for recommendations and the food is always fabulous, Wong Ho's never disappoints.

Hemos venido aquí para al menos 15 años y en todo ese tiempo nunca he tenido una buena comida o agradable noche que no se puede decir de muchos lugares y varias personas nos han recomendado ir con o tienen. También se ha convertido en clientes habituales. Creo que lo dice todo.
