Sunny's in Rochdale

I ordered 2 meals to take away, when paying they didn't have the POS (classic Chinese). The girl tells me that I can make the payment online, but that the price is increased (it doesn't make sense, it should be the opposite). I hand her my cell phone to show me the site, she enters and enters the two dishes I wanted to order, but when it's time to pay, it turns out that I have to register on their site as a customer. I'm not happy with this, but I go ahead, enter my name, surname, email plus password, and finally authenticate via email. And 8-10 minutes have already passed. I go back to the page, I enter with my email and password, I try to pay but now it turns out that they also want my mobile number. Practically all the requirements are met to find myself in a few months or even this very night with the cloned credit card. Pissed off, I refuse to give all the details, they speak in Chinese in a low voice and as I was leaving they were even laughing. This way of doing things is unacceptable! NOT RECOMMENDED

The worst Chinese. Terrible food. £59 completely wasted

Beware they don't listen to your order, you will get what they think you asked for then when you call them back they deny it.

Really enjoyed our takeaway delivery tonight. Had a good variety of Chinese cuisine. Top notch and highly recommended 🙂

Had Sunny Chippy Heywood today for 4 people. Chinese ordered. Came fast and was hot. Lovely and fresh. Best Chinese takeaway I have had in a long time. I highly recommend it. Will be having often from now on 10/10

As rude as can be, always answer the phone before serving you if you are stood in the place waiting to be served, i wont be going again.

Absolutely awful food it use to be a great chinese takeaway but was very disappointed I will not ever use them again and would not recommend it either I'm glad I ordered inside as I could see just how dirty the shop was the tiles have not been cleaned for a very long time maybe years and I could see a build up of dirt and grease under the fryers as for the food the chips tasted like they was cooked in very old oil and the chicken in all the dishes we ordered tasted like it had been boiled although the food was hot the prawns in the dish was cold threw it all in the bin

I travel all around the country and gave to eat wherever I can find somewhere, either open or nearby. So the variety of quality can vary. But the Fried Rice dish I picked up from here was one if the best I've had in the country. It was absolutely stunning, so I visited 2 nights on the trot before heading home.

This a very clean place with an excellent food rating and it is child friendly too I love sunnys Chinese take away and it is our go to place for some yummy tea xx

First time try your food. That was really nice food and also great service. Staffs are very friendly and patients. Especially the salt and pepper chicken were really tasty. Next time I would like try salt and pepper king prawn . Love it .

Very hit and miss this place. One day it's really nice and the next day it's just average. My last visit was the latter. The oil/chips tastes old and recooked.....plus a lot of them were very hard.

Ordered chicken chow mein with no bean sprouts or veg and They gave me chicken with beef and pork, the meat was grey. Chow mein and chips were re-heated from god knows when. Disgusting won’t be ordering again!

I think I was the first one here today as I had to wait a few minutes. I would have waited a little longer as the fish tasted as if it was not put in hot oil and was very greasy.The flavor was there and the chips were fine just a bit greasy for me. The place was very clean and the service was friendly. By the number of phone orders I think this is a popular place. I will try it again next visit

Had what was supposed to be chicken satay but that was not chicken...no taste and the sauce was not satay. Used to be a good chippy but awful now. Waste of £9

Great fish and chips, best in heywood for us. The pies are brilliant too, always cooked well. I'm not too impressed with the actual Chinese food but I'm not a lover of it either so wouldn't put anyone off it. Try first before being put off by a review or word of mouth

Gone downhill used it for years but last 2 times been disappointed with food

Salt and pepper chicken wings, edible but not very good rice was mushy and wings tasted like they’d been deep fried twice.

Food is really poor. Chips not fresh and gravy really dark, thick and does not taste nice. Curry sauce tastes of vinegar.

Best Chinese chippy in heywood !!!

Always gone there for chips and gravy. Had chicken satay with chips in a tin foil tray to go, looked really nice and tasted great, just the chicken was undercooked, should have been diced and cooked through. Would still recommend

Ordered a few ‘simple’ items from here tonight, for a chippy the bog standard chips, rice & curry sauce, and I can openly say I would not ever eat from this place again, the chips looked and tasted like they had been outside in a pour down they was that soggy and mushy. The curry sauce, was obviously left over from weekend and just re heated today with a few litres of water added, no flavour and like water. The rice was full of hairs? Absolute disgusted!

This Chinese and English takeway has good special fried rice, chicken curry and boiled rice, and chow mein. The chips and pies are excellent, especially if you're eating them on the way home.

This chippy has been going for years which has to be a good thing. It seems to always be open. The food isn't the best but not bad enough to moan too much about.

This chip shop has amazing fish! We always order from these when we have a chippy night. The Chinese menu is also good, but we have only had that once. We tend to just go with fish and chips. The couple who work there are lovely and polite.

A really good place to get a chinese! One of the best in Heywood I would always recommend. They don't deliver but you can pick up food ordered from the phone.

Buena comida, puede ser un poco impredecible con la frescura de las patatas fritas en ocasiones, pero en general el calidad de la comida es buena.

Me encanta la comida de aquí, pero por desgracia no llega, así que no las usamos mucho, pero siempre tenía comida estupenda!!

A long standing Chinese takeaway that changed hands some time ago and never seemed to recover. Its average, standard takeaway food that serves a purpose and to its credit is open evert night unlike some of its local competitors.

I've been going here for about 10 years.Foods always lovely and its always very busy, which can only be a good thing.

Always enjoyed going to this chippy chips always nice and hot ever been disappointed it's always busy also a good sign family people

What a selection of food. Menu huge. Great for a quick takeaway. Staff very efficient and as we sat waiting for our order we could see how well liked the establishment was with the comings and goings of phone orders arriving and leaving.

Brilliant Chinese takeaway. Been going there for over 15 years. Never been disappointed. Very popular with the regulars. Prices keen. We're lucky to have some excellent takeaways in Heywood.

Vast selection of dishes to choose from. We generally select from a small number if our favourites. Battered fish is a definite NO NO from here. Better off going across the road for fish.

Just spent £10.00 on three meals for our family tea, all three lots of chips were all stale and hard and served to us cold, very disappointed, generally a good chippy but not tonight :( waste of our money!

The food is always really good. The portions are large and good value. I always use Sunnys even though it is 15 mins from where I live .

Don't understand other poster's comment about English food. Both English and Chinese dishes top notch. My first choice every time.
