Ocean Fish and Grill in Leicester

Went in for some chips and a fish cake, the chips were not even fresh, tasted burnt, seemed like they'd been made yesterday and re warned through for today. Deffo won't be going again, avoid like the plague

I had 2 fishcakes 1 was burnt then potatoes fritters they were so well done I chipped my tooth and mushy peas cost me over nine pounds and had to throw seven of it in the bin I spend quite a lot in here seriously thinking of going up the road

Love the kebab calzone. Always delivered earlier than app says to expect it and food still hot when it arrives.

It was the shop that I always ordered from last year, the pizza was really delicious, I ordered it once in a while this year, the pizza dough was old, the stuff put in it was tasteless, it was burnt pizza, I will never order from here again!!!

Just had a delivery for the first time since they took over Ali babas and found a massive white hair stuck in the food 🤮

Food has gone down hill for sometime, tonight I ordered cod and chips fish was not cod! and disgusting chips hard and old, pie cold - will not be returning

Not very nice, kebab smelt like dog food! I asked for mixed kebab when I got 3/4 chicken then the rest doner. The chicken was hard. My son didn’t like his sausage, I tried it and tasted funny. Chips were cold. I should have known as it said 120 minutes delivery time but turned up after 15 minutes. First and last time we will order from there!

No matter what i do the online order system refuses to accept my postcode. :( I live in LE2 a 20 minute walk away!

I've lived in the area 40+ years & can honestly say since the shop has been taken over by these guys, it's the best it's ever been! I don't eat from here very often, but each time I have, I've definitely not been disappointed. The fish & chips are great & always fresh. The portion sizes are more than expected, & worth the money. The guy with the grey hair(think owner) is always very pleasant. I recently had fish & chips from Grimsby fisheries (suppose to be the best🤔) & whether I just picked the wrong day, they were shocking! Chips were very overcooked,brown, not fresh at all & fish was discusting. Ocean Fish & Grill beats them hands down! Keep doing what your doing 👍👍👍

Ordered today cheesy chips, received green mould with cheese as a bonus.... Will never come there again...

I don't know who has posted the five star reviews,, the food is shocking , kebab in naan , no burnt pitta , cod , omg it was more like plaice, , don't waste your money, this place was amazing , has just been taken over by someone who has no idea, bloody ignorant too
