Food is terrible. Bread is hard and not fresh at all. Sausages texture disgusting. For a cafe everything should be fresh not feel like it was made 3 days ago

have got a loyalty card for here but dont think all the staff know what they are doing as states on the card buy 10 sandwiches or 10 hot drinks get one free last week when i was in was told it is one stamp per visit regardless of what you buy so i thought that if i bought a sandwich and drink for me and the same for my husband i would get 2 stamps for each but no i only got one stamp for sandwiches and one for the drinks so asked for 2 seperate cards only to be told they would look for them they must be still looking as they didnt come to give them to me or even offer an explaination about them and if you ask for a sasuage sandwich as the lunch special some of the staff say you cant have it hot whoever heard of cold sasuage sadwiches

My partner and I were in town this afternoon and decided to try O'Brien's for lunch, I had been to other outlets in the chain but not this one. The table was rocky, the food was slow in arriving, there was congealed milk on the milk jug at the counter. The girl making the sandwiches wore blue cratering gloves, but never changed them after touching other items including the till. The sandwiches which should have been warm were tepid and left us both with acid! One to avoid!

Called in for quick drink & scones. Like sitting in the window seats watching the world pass by. Scones today - cheese was quite dry and fruit was tasteless. Drinks service was ok, but it’s not difficult to make two pots of tea.

Told we could not order food if we hadn’t booked, even though there was only one couple seated. the chef was sat at the bar having a pint, not a good look to be fair, but 20 minutes later someone wondered to the bar and ordered food. We then witnessed another couple try to order at the bar for them to be told they’d ran out of food so the kitchen was closed. Nice one!
