No better place to watch the sun rise. Opening at 6am is awesome for cyclists love it 😻 see you tomorrow morning 🌅

Lovely food at a reasonable price served by friendly staff

Friendly and efficient staff, aI ordered takeaway fish and chips for myself and battered sausage for my less hungry husband. The food was tasty and portions generous. The prices are comparable to what you would expect at the seaside. In other words a bit higher than in our home town but not excessive. People had somewhere to sit while they waited for their orders and some shelter was provided.

Motorcyclist friendly, great view, nice tea. I didn't eat so I can't comment.

Every time we visit Scarbados we go straight to the Oasis on the North Shore for bacon and sausage sarny with coffee each and cherry Bakewell to share, whilst we sit in the car and watch the sea (and sands if the tide is out) and the mad surfers. You've just got to.

Lovely affordable cafe on the seafront, much cheaper than some of the others. Staff were friendly. Unfortunately my son had an allergic reaction to the ketchup (it's never happened before) but the staff were helpful with providing ingredients for us to take a picture of to investigate further. Parking can be paid for with coins on the machine or on the RingGo app. Blue badge holders can park for free.

Was looking forward to eating here! Fish was so thin and small, was overcooked like sawdust chips was hard. Wife's meal wasn't much better. Disappointed!

Fantastic fish and chips overlooking the sea. Take your takeaway meal to the outdoor tables over the road from the promenade and watch the sea. The outside tables could be cleaned up a bit to improve the occasion. However the fish and chips itself is really good and portion size is generous. The serving staff were super friendly. £10 for fish and chips on the seafront is great! Served in cardboard boxes with wooden cutlery. Free street parking after 5pm Recommended.

Always like going here and sitting looking at the sea, eating a breakfast buttie, cake and hot drinks. Staff are friendly and it's good value for money. Parking outside for motorbikes is a bonus and for cars too.

The prices are reasonable lovely views of the sea from the outside seating area a lovely place to stop and rest wit a coffee

Cant fault the portion size for fish and chips, and I did like that it came with a slice of lemon. But sadly for myself the fish was very greasy and the chips a little under cooked I wouldn't say it was worth £10. The restaurant itself is in a fantastic location for a sea view at scarbrough, but overall wouldn't honestly return with so many other great options available at scarbrough.

We had fish and chips the chips was hard and the fish very very greasy my granddaughter can cook better

I have been coming to this place for 13 years. Sadly its my last time today. I asked for tap water and they didn't give it to me. Chips were undercooked and coffee was cold. Nice fish, but not giving us tap water in hot weather after we spent money on 4 peoole meal is a bit too much

Had an amazing fish and chips here on Monday, can't go to the seaside without having fish and chips, and these were delicious!!!

Cracking little cafe just on the sea front. Fast turnaround for food and really good too.

Extremely busy place , lovely view of the beach as we are drinking our coffee.

It has a wide selection of beach food, sandwiches, drinks they also have a noodle bar that we have not tried. Its a clean but basic cafe.

Tea, cake and bikes. What's not to like?

By far the worst fish and chips we have ever had, my advice would be walk on by, I wish we had. Avoid at all costs.

Very modern building overlooking the beach. Paid parking adjacent. Very good chippy. I had a take out but their café seemed fine. It's your standard chip shop café hence 4 stars for atmosphere. Reasonable price. I could watch the walkers on the beach from my car; £2 something for an hour, I think. Blustery showers. Didn't see anyone swimming! (Early April). Highly recommended, especially the curry sauce.

Nice coffee but very slow service with a young staff who didn't want to be there. There was no obvious supervision or support for the young staff

It was indeed a lovely day, although the fish and chips from this place were the worst I've ever had. They claim to have been in business for 30 years, yet it seems they haven't learned how to make decent fish and chips in all that time. How is it possible that the national dish can be so poorly executed?

Very enjoyable will be going back again highly recommend.

The atmosphere gets 5 stars because face it even if you're sitting on your own the view across the sea is amazing. Just had £10 fish and chips. Perfect crispiest batter and juicy fish and golden chips.... also noodle bar upstairs coming soon and who doesn't love a bowl of hot Ramen after a day in the sea! Be seeing you .... there.

Before march 1st parking is free at the North Bay. This is a great institution of a chippy. Great food, really good value, significantly cheaper than the south Bay.

Love coming here for chips and gravy and a quiet half hour, the food is brilliant quick service absolutely friendly staff.

Always pop in for a breakfast sandwich when visiting Scarborough. I go early for sunrise photography and it's handy being open at 6am. Lovely sandwiches and a decent coffee or tea to take away, so it serves me just right.

Chips appeared to be re heated and the fish a bit dry. Didn't fall apart like fresh fish seems to do. A shame we have had nice ones from here before. Hopefully just a bad day

Great cafe. The staff are polite and helpful. The cafe is nice and clean. The food is fairly priced. Also tastes great. There is a seating area available. With tables and chairs. The cafe provides a range of food and drink choices. -Cold and hot sandwiches. -Jacket potatoes. -Hot meals. Drinks - Hot e.g Tea, coffee types, hot chocolate. - Cold e.g milkshake, can soda drinks, bottle soda drinks, carton drinks, water. There are ramps so is easily accessable for wheelchairs, prams. You can park outside the cafe. There are some disabled parking spaces. Motorcycle parking area. However, the full side of the road. Has tons of parking spaces available. So you could walk to the cafe. You can see the sea from the parking spaces.

À good outdoor café. Two seating areas are provided but many people choose to sit in their cars to eat. There is also an indoor resteraunt upstairs, but I have never used it.

Pretty terrible. Maybe ok for basic snacks but avoid the fish and chips. £10:00 for a tiny wafer thin piece of fish and a few scrappy chips. Go to south bay.

This is not fine dinning, but a good basic cafe next to the beach with some outdoor covered seating for when the weather is lashing down. Quick friendly service.

The best staff... really friendly salt of the earth people... quality food nice thick cut bacon... The classic hot dog... onions ketchup and dog is the only way to have it.. staff are happy to tell you about area... and its almost a little to cheap... these guys deserve raving reviews...

Had a takeaway from this lovely gem. Ordered 2 large cod’s, mushy peas and curry sauce. All I can say is the cod tasted so fresh, peas on point and the best chip shop curry sauce I have ever had! It even had onions in it! Yum 10/10

Quick fish and chips near the sea. Small seating area to the side. Basic facilitate but all positive.

Always good food, service lovely. We eat outside with the dog. Aways kept tidy and tables wiped down. Lovely.

The food is serviceable if you're dashing around. The staff generally are fine. However, the middle-aged man who cleans the toilets and locks up is among the rudest, most low quality people I have ever encountered.
