Oasis Cafe in Medway

Ordered from here a couple of times before, without issue. This morning ordered halloumi baguettes and was sent just halloumi (For £13.40). We called and they said they'd send the baguettes, so we could put the halloumi in. Fine. Then received the original halloumi baguettes we had ordered, and they asked for the halloumi back! Presumably to sell to someone else; don't think I'll be ordering again 😅

I am not sure why the bad reviews, I've ordered a couple of times the breakfasts - the halal one was incredible with the turkey rashers. Very reasonable pricing and good portions. Will defo recommend and order again!

Dont order!! How can this place be rated excellent on delivero. Had it delivered this morning. Took an hour and 10 minutes to arrive for a start when arrived it was stone cold,soggy and damp. Had to heat up in the microwave which made it even worse. :( Asked for no beans was covered in beans!! Was horrible mushrooms over cooked nearly burnt. Horrible. And very expensive for a breakfast 18 pounds what a waste of money!!!!! Never again

I've been here twice. Both times I've got a coffee and a sausage sandwich. Food was good, but this time I found a hair in the top of my coffee and it grossed me out, so I won't be going again.

Worst cafe. Rude owner. Verbally abusive down the phone. Ordered food at 8am and was told it would arrive at 11am because they were too busy. Avoid the rude owner.

Great experience and amazing food! The staff really take care of you, and are lovely to speak to. The food is affordable and filling.

So a suggestion, if you fancy a takeaway from this cafe order it the day before you fancy it, that way it may and i do mean may turn up on time also it will be cold !. Call the restaurant and excuses, made to feel it is my fault. In short stay well away and go elsewhere. Uber if you read these reviews then i suggest you remove from your site

We were charged 16.00 because it didnt match up to the menu price. I rung and spoke to them and his words were I'm just the chef your son ordered egg bacon and mushroom x2 not what we call the breakfast baguette 🤣🤣🤣 so got charged for not having the full baguette, very rude staff will def not be going back or recommending this place again!!! Will be reporting this also as it seems we are not the only people conned by them!!

Oh mate.. walked in, looked around and thought to myself “this cafe looks dodgy”, took the risk and had bacon and egg sandwich. Fortune favours the brave - 4am this morning on the toilet, pi***ng out my a** 😎 Would not recommend. Note to owner, your cafe is dirty..

⚠️ Do Not Go To Oasis Cafe ⚠️ We went there as the burgers were advertised as 2.90 we got into the cafe the burger was actually 4.90, it was a horrible place all dirty and the owner was shouting down the phone and did not aknowledge us until we had decided to leave and once we went to leave the owner said "what is happening" and "where are you going". We told him that we were going else where and he still didn't listen. The place looks awful and dodgy, the kitchen just looked dirty, the customer service here was awful, avoid at all costs.

Today I dropped in the coffee shop to buy three decaf coffees based on the menu price of £1.80. When it was time to pay, the staff member charged me £6.60 in total, instead of £5.40 and when I mentioned that to him, he was not even apologetic and couldn’t be bothered. I would not recommend anyone to go to this place as they are not transparent and dodgy in their trading practices.

Horrendous service and long delivery times.

Never has such terrible service its been almost an hour and food still isn't here cannot contact then seems they've taken their phone off the hook , no way to contact them NEVER gonna order from here again and will NEVER recommend to anyone

Oasis is a great little cafe, Omar will cook you a great meal, good food, good price well worth nipping into for a bite to eat.

In this well kept and maintained establishment I was greeted in a friendly manner, I ordered one of the many breakfast options which were available, it arrived promptly and was delicious. It was just a shame that such delicious food is tucked away I heartily recommend when in Gillingham Kent you seek this little gem out. Thank you to all the staff at the oasis café.

Extremely rude customer service. It was over 2 hours late and their justification is 'you're 5 miles away'. The restaurant is 5 minutes down the road. Food arrived cold. Manager was rude. Awful experience and awful service.

Do not order from here, delivery was 1hr 5 minutes. Food was cold, terrible standard of meat. Forgot 2 drinks, when I called and asked them to bring the drinks he told me it would be another 40 minutes. Was rude when I asked for them to be sooner as I’d already waited over an hour.

The good was great, and the service

Ordered a spag bol and it was hot and yummy arrived on time from uber eats and delivery man was lovely :) . I also ordered a lemon meringue as its my fave dessert and it was scrumptious.

Disgusting service... Food took nearly three hours from order to delivery. When calling the restaurant to query our order was greeting by a very rude man. Moaning to us he was busy and that we lived five miles away.. to top it off the food was completely inedible. Burger riddled with grissel. Tasted cheap nasty and reheated. Rather eat a two day old MacDonalds. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Pedigree chum is cheaper and probably nicer!!

Abysmal service. Ordered on Uber eats and told delivery would be at 10:15. This didn’t show at all. Unable to contact cafe as the phone off the hook. Claimed delivery at 13:00 but no food showed up. Do not bother with this place

Ordered via Uber Eats and the food was cold having arrived 15 mins, the order was wrong and an item was missed off the order. It tasted ok so it's ashame the order was wrong and arrived cold.

Just eat Delivery - Always ahead of schedule, piping hot food and drinks. Great value. Can’t fault these guys. Even had a World Cup message on the box on the England match day. Nice touch. Thanks guys, you’re great. Will always order from these time and time again. Food lovely, not usual cafe cheap fatty bacon. Great service and friendly delivery staff.

Ordered from here on Deliveroo, main food was very nice, but desserts were not what we ordered. So I called up to find out why, only to get a member of staff telling me he’d tried to call and got no answer, even though there was no missed calls on my phone? I tried to tell him that I had no missed calls so I didn’t understand, to which he seemed to get annoyed and angrily said he did call and that next time he’ll just cancel my order if I don’t answer the phone?? Which to me was quite a rude way to speak to a customer when I’d only called up to enquire, not complain. And the fact that I did not receive any calls whatsoever from oasis cafe makes me wonder what number he claimed to have called? Because it certainly wasn’t mine.

"Support your local businesses" they said, all I can respond to that is is - I hope they go under!!! Ordered via JustEat app, waited 1hrs 45mins to be phoned and told a further £1.50 was needed for delivery being over 5miles (I live 5.3 miles away!!l I politely explained I was self isolating and had no cash..... I had already paid £13 online which included £1.50 delivery and Just Eat service charge. But noooo the man I spoke to was very shouty & rude then they cancelled my order! Great Mothers Day treat for me = NOT

I wouldn't even give this cafe one star my food came cold my coffee had lumps in it and all around the cup didnt even taste like coffee my bacon was just fat I asked for bread and I got toast disappointed is not the word. 🤬🤬🤬

Would give a 0 star if it allows! Ordered through Ubereats at 10.30, still hadn't arrive by 12 so rang restaurant to be told it has just left and will be with us within 20 minutes. Still nothing at 1pm, rang again for them to ask me why it hasn't arrived and they'll contact their driver, rang back 5 minutes later to again be asked is he not there yet. Asked them cancel and refund me as it has been too long and food would be cold as I was told an hour ago that it had left. Passed me onto the owner or manager and he was very rude, shouted down the phone at me telling me he will not be refunding me and then shouted down the phone again telling me he is very busy and hung up on me. It is now 13.40 and the delivery driver has just turned up, sent away and told it was cancelled due to time. I will get refunded and they are being reported to Uber eats.

Good value for money, friendly good natured genuine staff.

The fly was cooked into my mushrooms. I contacted the restaurant and the man was saying he doesn't have any flys in the restaurant so he can't do anything about it. We told him we'd contact Uber eats and then he was saying he refused a refund and said he'd send another one (have not received) and hung up. I would not recommend it to anyone who wants to actually eat.

Popped in and got a bacon roll, service was quick, staff were very polite, welcoming and it's just opposite our Gillingham Street Angels Charity shop that we opened today so extra handy. Breakfasts look amazing, reasonably priced. Definitely my sort of cafe.

The worst experience ever first got invited in the cafe they are having work done man pulling out the toilet while I was sat next to him nice so I went outside they then robbed me on a price of their breakfast and charged me for loads of food that I did not want there is no food heigene this place needs shutting down not even got hot water

If you are stoned off your head and have got a severe case of the munchies, this is the place to go.

haven't been in a few years use to like the place alit but keep having little problems with orders ect after finding a fly in my burger I have not gone back and don't plan to.

Food order took 1 hour 30 min I then phoned the place they first said its on its way then said oh they are just doing it now I asked for a refund he refused said I can't have my money back an argument then started didn't help the management spoke broken English in the end refused the food and cooked myself at least the bacon had flavour and my toast wasn't soggy and I had nice soft eggs so had a great breakfast from me avoid this place unless you have no food and are starving 😊

Never known such a rude owner!!! You get tiny portions, overpriced rubbish. Beans tasted like they were from the previous day. Dry chicken burger with no option of sauce or salad, and about 5 chips to go with it. Owner charged me for beans, when I didn't receive them, I asked if I could have them, his response was " you didn't pay for them or asked for them!!! " Horrible person...
