O Segredo in Arun

It is what it is. A good basic hotel, which provides great B&B. Room had some issues but the staff on the desk resolved these v promptly. Breakfast team of Vicky and Jay are superb - it's why we stayed here. Just a shame that the full supper/dinner menu isn't available yet, the options are V limited.

We had a Sunday roast here. The beef was excessively well done. The chunks of roughly carved meat sat on some cauliflower (?), a slice of carrot, a piece of boiled parsnip, a couple of roast potatoes and some red cabbage. The sad heap was topped by a Yorkshire that had failed to rise- basically a pancake (which was cold). The gravy was thin and nearly flavourless.

Fish is lovely, best in the area

Lovely fresh cooked fish and chips nicely priced. Very nice staff really enjoyed it
