This place is lovely! It's a small coffee shop off thr beaten track but what an absolute gem 💎. The staff are so welcoming and make sure you have everything you need without mithering you, really polite and chatty aswell. Me and my mum went for afternoon tea and it was delicious. All on last minute aswell but they managed to squeeze us in and so happy they did. You won't go hungry after having the tea here and the price of £38 was a bargain. We really enjoyed it and will be recommending it to anyone. If it's not afternoon tea your after they also have plenty of other dishes on the menu and even though I didn't have any the plates looked delicious and all went back empty. The decor is excellent aswell, lots of quirky things on the wall and ceiling. Loved it and will definitely revisit.

I visited for the first time yesterday for lunch with a friend who said I needed to try their homemade cheese and onion pie. He was right, wow! Simply the best I’ve ever had - it was made with layers of mature cheese and red onion encased in the lightest, buttery pastry. Perfectly cooked and an absolute pleasure to eat. I’ll be visiting again soon to try out more of the menu. I can’t recommend this small, friendly cafe enough.

Used to go here and fancied something nice to eat but boy do we wish we gave it a miss. Arrived not very busy but the table had dirty dishes which took a while to be removed. Lots of staff working behind the counter but slightly rude and not very friendly. Ordered our food and drinks two lattes and two baked potatoes on with tuna and which cheese and beans. Coffee arrived hot and strong then arrived the food. Both had been in the microwave, both not very warm and both hard. Surely they must have known they were not cooked properly when the cut them? Then for the butter and filing well if you can call it butter. My filling the tuna was awful dry and cheap tasting. My husbands looked like a dogs dinner! One half had cheese and the other half beans everywhere. I attempted to eat mine but ended up leaving it. Left after a very disappointing lunch £15 lighter and hunger. Such a shame as I had found memories of the lovely baked potatoes from here. If you have a limited menu try and do it right and baked the potatoes! Home now with the most horrendous heartburn thanks for that.

I have used and recommended this cafe for years but a visit 2 weeks ago changed my views. There was no-one in where it always used to be crammed full but it was the attitude of the staff that annoyed me. There were 5 of them in the tiny serving area all talking about what they would be drinking at a party and using their mobiles. Food wasn't up to its usual standard and my potato could have been warmer. No imagination about getting more customers in at a time when there were hordes of people in town Christmas shopping. Glad this isn't my business as sadly I can see it going down the pan!

Been to this cafe many times over the years and sampled homemade cakes & quiches, but it's been off my radar of late. Popped in a few days ago and wished I hadn't left it so long. Ordered the all day breakfast and a decaff coffee, both of which were excellent. Despite feeling ravenous, I struggled to eat it all. My coffee was flavoursome and full-bodied compared to so many tasteless decaff coffees I've had elsewhere, which consist of aroma and nothing more. Definitely going back for more! Only downside is the upstairs toilets which don't suit all, but there are accessible toilets in the Millgate Centre very close by.

I recently visited the coffee shop for a full English with my partner and 2 year old daughter. The staff are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere in the cafe is very relaxed and looks great. They had toys for my daughter to play with, and colouring in for her which was really refreshing as many places don't. Unfortunately the breakfast wasn't very good and we probably wouldn't order it again: sausages were very dry, you only get one piece of toast, and you have to pay for 'extras' such as hashbrowns and black pudding which we saw as standard for the full English, 'fresh' orange juice wasn't fresh and just out of a 'from concentrate' carton - all for a pricey £5.99. My daughter's scrambled eggs on toast was lovely though so Im sure it depends on what food you order. I would visit again but not to order a full English.

It was delicious. Looking around at the different menus they supply we noticed they cooked quiche with black pudding in it. One of the ladies said if we let her know in advance, she would cook us one so I could take it home for my husband who is a fan of Bury black puddings. Although we did not try the freshly baked cakes they also looked delicious and many choices to choose from. They also make "party cakes" to any design you choose. Thank you ladies, and my daughter, for a memorable afternoon along with delicious food.

This was my second visit to number 10 and it wont be my last. We had home made quiche which was very nice and fresh and the hazelnut latte which I highly recommend. I even bought an home made cupcake to take home because they looked so nice, and it was lovely and fresh. The staff are very friendly and welcoming we will be going back soon.

I ordered the afternoon tea for my sisters birthday. This was lovely, 3 tear cake stand with assorted sandwiches. These where absolutely delicious and the staff where so friendly, we had a great day. I also ordered a birthday cake, which was made by the lady who owns the cafe.

I recently visited number ten with my friend and our toddlers. What a fantastic time we had; gorgeous food, brilliant kids menu (value for money and kids favourites!) and lots of lovely staff. They even found booster seats for our little ones. Nothing was too much trouble. We shall definitely be back soon!

I have always had lunch in this cafe when shopping in Bury with my friends Elaine and Geoff. It has recently changed hands and i was worried it might not be as good. Its a little hidden gem and the new lady owner has set it out beautifully. The menu has changed and the food is all home cooked They bake beautiful cakes daily There was home made soup on offer as well as Meal deals to eat in or take away. The hot sandwiches were lovely They also offer novelty cakes and outside catering. The prices are very reasonable Lovely tea and coffee as well. We will definately be back soon. Very nice staff as well. It was very busy for a Thursday and i am sure it will be busy on market days as well.

This is the 3rd time we have been to Bury market. But the first time we have been to this tea room it is well worth a visit. friendly staff, clean, the food was great to. I do not know why we did not go to this cafe before because it is near the bus/tram station. We will go again

Best Coffee I've had in Manchester. Nice chilled out place, friendly people. Great WiFi and some delicious simple cakes and bakes.

Called in for drinks and snacks. We ordered tea and iced peach tea. The milk for the tea was curdled and the peach tea was tasteless. Both had to be replaced. The staff were very good abut it. The bagel and currant teacake were both very nice.

Have been coming here for years. No offence at all to the other chefs but they have a new young team and the food was unreal! Best food I’ve had there and maybe the best burger I’ve ever eaten. Steak and bacon and all three of us who had it were absolutely wowed. Perfectly cooked and excellent in terms of quality and quantity of meat. My Dad and my Uncle love coming here and we will be back.
