Number One Cafe in Tunbridge Wells

Var en tur i Calverley Grounds for en gåtur og da der kom en regn byge valgte vi at gå ind i denne lille hyggelig cafe. Her er servering både inde og ude. Hyggelig typisk engelsk. Flinke unge som var hurtige og vakse. Et fint tilbud af små retter, varmt og koldt og alt til meget rimelige priser. Vi valgte the og kager og hyggede os mens det regnede. Kan anbefales og vi vil helt sikkert gerne komme her igen.

Slow service. Food is.nice but seems to have gone up on price

A nice, friendly, traditional pub with a lovely log fire.

The visit to the Mount Edgcumbe was enjoyable. The table in the restaurant was in a good position and the food was good as was the service. However, there was no disabled access toilet which made life very difficult. On the website it said that there was no blue badge parking but as I couldn't see any reference to toilets, I assumed that there would be accessible facilities. Sadly, I won't be able to visit again and request that the website either be updated or make the situation clear.

I’d give 0 stars if possible, Went yesterday for their £10 Sunday burger deal only to be served some deep fried reheated slop coated in so much oil if wasn’t even a burger anymore, The fries it came with were barely cooked with the occasional one being ice cold, Clearly been served a returned dish that’d be reheated, Also we unfortunately got seated next to some loud mouth undesirables just to top it all off. Overall a tragic experience I do not recommend!
