Going almost every second week in Monday ! Fantastic food and lovely service.

The ladies here are great! And the food is okay, I think my taste differs. I got the pita gyros and it had barely any feta in it, also the chicken was marinated in tikka, not very Greek, and it has coriander. All in all it was fine and I would probably visit again, but maybe try something else from their menu, also tried the Reuben and it's faaar too much mayoin it, again, this is my opinion and preference.

The bacon sandwich was nice but the bun was massive and 3 rashes of bacon wasn't really enough. £3.30 for a bacon sandwich is very good and was served throughout the day (not just in the morning) I couldn't see what type of bread I could choose so just said white might be an idea to have a sign or display the bread options.

Had the salad box with feta cheese hummus and breaded halloumi cheese. Highly recommend it was fresh & so tasty. Will certainly be returning to try other dishes as that’s the nicest salad box I’ve ever tasted. Hubby has been a few times and rates the noddle dishes they do.

Great selection of meals, quite different to most places. Fresh salad bar and pasta. Different types of panini’s and sandwiches available. Some nice looking desserts. Had the chicken gyros in a pitta which was packed nicely. Chicken was tender and nice just not full of flavour but the pitta was fresh, was a nice meal.

We went for a tea after a gym workout. Didn't have any food although I noticed there was considerable choice on the board so will be visiting again. The server was friendly, welcoming and attentive. There was a calming ambience even though it was busy. Worth a visit

I've eaten here a few times now and it is definitely the best spot in the area for lunch in my opinion. The salads are delicious and the portion sizes are generous too. Staff are always very friendly and provide a quick service considering how busy they can get. They also offer a fair price to the customer compared with some other places I've tried nearby. Looking forward to my next weekly Friday salad there already.

Number 9 Deli is our go-to for lunch! So many delicious options, you're always sure to find something - I am partial to their fish finger wrap but also love their paninis and salad boxes too! Plus, it's at a great price. Almost too handy that they're just over the road from us!!

I worked in horsforth a few years ago and had food in here everyday for at least a year and it was the best food iv had from a shop we've just called again on our way to the airport and the food was just as good with the same owner pete I would recommend this to anyone

I got a free croissant with my coffee and bacon sandwich yesterday and it was delicious. Love the food here they literally do the best wraps/salads etc.

I went here yesterday before a hair appointment, just as the store was closing. The gentleman behind the counter still served me and made the time for me, it was a lovely gesture. Everyone was super friendly and I was made to feel like I wasn't an inconvenience - thank you. Coffee was delicious 👍

Bobbed in here a few times now and the food is always amazing, and tastes fresh and homemade. Staff are always friendly and nothing us too much trouble. I could happily eat everything on the menu!. Noms.

I popped in for lunch on a Monday when I met a friend. They were very busy! Staff were friendly regardless. There was so much choice, I would recommend reading an online menu first as I didn't want to take so long deciding! I opted for something on the specials board (pulled pork flatbread) but would quite happily make my way down the menu. Grabbed a take out coffee and a millionaire/billionaire slice which was to die for!! Thick and heavy and just what I needed. I think I spent maybe £10-£12. There were tables outside that were free for a while but soon filled up, but a lovely outdoor bench just up the road anyway which we grabbed. I'll be going back 😊

Honestly one of THEE best delis around, I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for, and number 9 never let's you down. A few more options on buns and this place would be absolutely perfect 🥰

Me and my girlfriend came here every now and again, food was always really nice and the staff were friendly. Our favourite was the vegan sausage and mushroom sandwich, being in a small town it was nice to find somewhere close to home that provided veggie/vegan options. So why 2 stars? This morning we were waiting to order, there was one other guy in there and the owner (I think, he usually makes the food), as we walked in we caught the end of a conversation "jumping on the vegan bandwagon" didn't think much of it, didn't know what the conversation was about initially. However, it continued - talking about how someone he knows is vegan and does her shopping in supermarkets, but do you really know what's in vegan pulled pork and sausage etc (I mean..yes bcos read the ingredients??? Do YOU know exactly what's in a regular sausage??). It made us feel really uncomfortable that we would then be ordering a vegan sandwich after listening to them both ridicule that type of food and the people who eat it, so we left and likely won't return. Choosing to be vegan is a dietary and lifestyle choice, why does it matter to other people, if you don't want to eat it then don't but don't critique other people's choices. For those of you that think I'm just another vegan complaining, this stuff wouldn't usually bother me bcos personal choices, but they way they were speaking was just uncalled for, especially for a cafe that actually caters to said "bandwagon".

I absolutely love this place...I'm always made to feel welcome 😊 even if I haven't been for a while ...such was the case...the menu is vast and consists of a wide range of hot and cold meals. I was treated to a free croissant and a sample of their homemade pastrami. Would totally recommend a visit for a coffee ☕... The owner is Pete and is a friendly jolly chap ...say hello to him from me if you pay them a visit.

Chance find in Horsforth - had half an hour to get a coffee and a bite to eat. This place had a bit of a queue but I now know the reason - it's very good. Excellent coffee and a nice wrap. Very pleasant staff. I'll certainly make a point of returning here when I can.

Food is great from here! Always fresh and really tasty. Good value for money too. Staff friendly. Sometimes can be a bit of a wait but that's a testament to the popularity of the deli. Repeat customer and will repeat a lot

My mum and I walked into the shop to get a take out sandwich at 2:15pm on a Wednesday, to which we were told straight away ‘we are not serving hot sandwiches’. There was no greetings with this, the lady in the front of house didn’t ask what we would like to order, she kept tidying up around the shop as though she had shut the shop already and wanted us to leave, I found it incredibly rude and unwelcoming. My mum and I felt very uncomfortable and we felt like we needed to leave straight away. I would not recommend this deli if you’re looking for a friendly welcoming service for eating.

As a birthday treat we visited for breakfast having intended to try out this café for a while. We sat in the window and quickly had our coffees and breakfast. We both really enjoyed it, my only criticism is that I could have easily managed to eat the whole thing again. We had a sugared croissant afterwards to takeaway and enjoy on the walk home - they were unbelievable, so so good.

What a selection! I could eat here everyday for a month and try something new. We had a meatball flatbread and chicken and guacamole sandwich. We had to eat them in two sittings and both were 4 quid which is amazing value. Can't wait to go back.

Tried the place Oct 20 after discovering it, never been anywhere since. I'm even getting orders from my work colleagues to pick them up there lunches as they got lunch envy at my club sandwich.

Called in to get 2 Flat Whites as refreshment whilst on bike ride. Freezing today. Friendly reception, lovely looking selection and great coffee made even better by two scrummy FREE croissants. Shame it is 10 miles from home!

The best of its kind. Just organised a breakfast delivery and it was quick to arrive and totally delicious. Mine included some bacon / sausage hybrid that was particularly lovely.

Called in here today, looked nice from the outside and so went in, the choice of food was amazing, the staff were very friendly and my seekh kebab flatbread was out of this world

I explained that I was gluten and dairy free and the member of staff was so helpful in suggesting what I could eat. All the food is home made. Vegans and vegetarians can eat here. It’s very clean. If you are in Horsforth I would suggest popping in to eat in or takeaway.

Food can be hit and miss, perhaps because there's millions to choose from! I'd recommend the Fajita wraps but stay away from the meatball panini!!

Philly steak ciabatta? Cooked sliced beef with a tonne of onion warmed up and some cheese for £4 Homemade Chocolate flapjack burnt cheap chocolate as thin as a pancake, defo pass this place next time

It was open but all the hot food wasn't available because it takes an hour to clean up! Shouldn't you do that after you're closed?

People queue out of the door for good reason. Excellent choice of food; all the breakfast faves including SPAM😀, box salads, paninis, huge portions, Yorkshire prices, great service, newspapers while you wait. Corking. Nice lunchtime specials too - gyros, Peri Peri chicken, avo & halloumi.

This was a great cafe at one point, but from the last two visits I won’t be returning. The breakfast sandwiches are poor, first time around the bacon was disgusting and second time around the bread was stale. I also find the service quite poor, not much care given to customers. Looks great on the outside, but poor experience on the inside. A real shame.

Ordered a Cumberland sausage sandwich from the specials board and he just gave me normal sausages and tried passing them off as Cumberland, he was also very rude

I am a regular visitor here and 9/10 times the food is good, prices are fair but on the odd occasion, usually when busy, the food can be slightly disappointing for the price you pay.

I have visited number nine deli quite a few times and have never been disappointed. They do a fantastic breakfast range of sandwiches, healthy salads and A wide variety of lunchtime sandwiches plus home-made cakes, flapjack, and excellent coffee. My favourite sandwich is a quesadilla which contains avocado home-made hummus and melted cheese which has been toasted, delicious ! They also offer an outside catering service too, which I believe is of the same quality and standard .

This food is to die for. Always pop in for a surprise feast whenever I'm feeling famished. The food doesnt even touch the sides and I love the complexity of the food on offer. As my friends call me Kebab kerry Im upset they dont do kebabs but hey! Im always ready for anything this establishment cooks me up. mmmmmmmmm tasty

Just been to Number 9 for a well done crispy bacon and egg sandwich for breakfast. I finally got what I wanted. Most places find it hard to do crispy bacon for some reason! Not here - it was perfect. The yolk just slightly runny as well. Absolutely delicious. I will certainly be visiting here more in the future. Whilst waiting was looking at some of the delicious sandwiches they have on offer - all looking really good and spotlessly clean as well. Thanks Pete!

We came here for breakfast sandwiches & there is nothing I can complain about. The portions were generous, the staff were friendly, the service was quick. There isn't much seating inside so be prepared to carry your food out but apart from that, flawless. The menu is massive too.

A well done fruit toasted T-cake that I ordered arrived as a warm fruit teacake with a thick layer of yellow stuff I assume was some sort of margarine. This was not a one off as being the fool I am I ordered this for about three Fridays on the trot varying my request from well done to very well done to almost burnt, guess what? Made no difference.

A fantastic variety of sandwiches, both hot and cold. Various specials each day, and something for everyone. Well worth a visit for lunch when in the area. Biggest problem will be deciding what to have! Spoilt for choice. Friendly service, quick and efficient. Been on a number of occasions and always had great food. Are a couple of tables outside to sit out on a nice day. Well worth a visit, and probably the best eatery on this street.
