Great place in Roundhay. We really enjoyed the food and wine there and we will certainly go back soon.

Absolutely shocking. Undercooked sausage and overcooked cold eggs on full English, cold beans with horrible taste, hash browns soaked with greese, cold tomato. Service terrible menus thrown on table didn't check if food was ok had to ask to pay inside. Toilets of order! When paying a service charge was added to the bill without asking which put the total for 2 breakfast and coffee over £38. No receipt provided but looked to be around 12% added. Probably the worst food and service I've had in leeds feel robbed. Shame.

Service was slightly slow and had to ask multiple times for things but the food was absolutely fantastic with great portion sizes, the outdoor seating area is lovely but could do with heaters on a cloudy day as it got a bit chilly. Lovely restaurant, great food overall

After a friend told me to try this place I booked for breakfast. The staff were friendly and on the ball. The breakfast was lovely. All coffee's,tea's and juices were good. The price was very reasonable. We weren't rushed even though the staff were turning people away. Great place to visit.

Really nice artisan cafe to enjoy a late breakfast or lunch. Fantastic service, surprisingly reasonable prices for the high quality of sausage, bacon and other breakfast items. My wife had the vegetarian breakfast which was really tasty, too. Highly recommended.

This small restaurant around the corner quickly became one of my favorite spots after we stumbled upon it while searching for a cup of coffee. It was one of the best decisions we ever made! Food: When we first visited, the menu was limited, but I was blown away by one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Fast forward less than a year, and their menu has tripled in size while maintaining—and even improving—the quality of their dishes. I absolutely loved their pasta and pizza, which I can confidently say is my favorite. I've recommended it to so many friends! Atmosphere: The restaurant has a cozy vibe. It may not be flashy, but it feels inviting and comfortable. The outside seating is a fantastic option on sunny days, adding to the charm. Staff: The staff here are welcoming and friendly. They surprised us with complimentary garlic bread on two different occasions, and it was delicious! Their hospitality really adds to the overall experience.

Very expensive and nothing special at all. My £3.20 tea was in a terribly scratched cup that looked more like a bowl. It took ages for our tea and cake to come. The cake was out of stock, so I had to then order something else, so I had to go back inside for a refund. It really took ages for it all. I cannot say I would be back there 👎

Had a delicious meal with friends this evening. Lovely atmosphere, varied menu all our dishes were beautiful and piping hot . Wine was also very good . We shall be back many thanks .

La comida es fantástica y el servicio es amable y eficiente ... sin embargo, habiendo estado aquí en bastantes ocasiones ahora, me he dado cuenta de que la factura ha sido incorrecta. En la primera ocasión, lo dejé ir en el entendimiento de que agregaron un recargo en mi factura... sin embargo, no me dieron un recibo para verificar esto... La segunda vez mi factura estaba equivocada y no se dio un recibo y todavía presumía que era un recargo ridículo... Sin embargo hoy llamé y la cuenta debería haber llegado a £ 18. 00 . Pagué una vez más sin tener mucho cuidado solo para descubrir que pagué más de £ 26. 67 por mi merienda. Es una lástima que hagan esto y ahora he decidido que ya es suficiente y nunca volverá a este lugar por principio. Dejaré más reseñas en todas las demás plataformas para advertir a la gente sobre este problema. TRADING DE PIE Y PESOS Y MEDIDAS. Las normas comerciales deben hacer una visita a este lugar junto con pesos y medidas.

Avoid...Not to be trusted..! BEWARE..! The food is fantastic and the service is friendly and efficient...however having been here on quite a few occasions now, I've noticed that the bill has been wrong. On the first occasion I just let it go on the understanding that they added a surcharge ontop of my bill...however I wasn't given a receipt to check this..The second time my bill was wrong and a receipt wasn't given and I still just presumed it was a ridiculous surcharge...However today I called in and the bill should have come to £18.00. I paid once again without taking much notice only to find out that I paid over £26.67 for my snack. It's such a shame that they do this and I have now decided that enough is enough and will never go back to this place on principle.. I will leave more reviews on all other platforms to warn people about this problem. TRADING STANDING & WEIGHTS & MEASURES. Trading standards should pay this place a visit along with Weights and measures.

Excellent service. Might I suggest that in preparation for autumn and winter, it might be worth considering installing canopies/large umbrellas with heaters. This will help you maintain your popularity due to limited inside space.

We booked a table at La Petite on Sunday lunch. The food was excellent! We had Garlic Bread and olives as starter. I had Beef Liver and it was cooked perfectly. My wife had Salmon and was delicious. The service was wonderful. Our waiter was so attentive and accommodating. The ambiance was perfect. ... Overall, this was an incredible dining experience.

Another fake European restaurant, director is Matthew Alexander Rogers who has put "La Petite" into liquidation. I ordered meatballs which had the actual consistency of dog food and no discernable flavour plus they were very spicy, presumably to mask the flavour of whatever the meatballs were made from. I also ordered a spicy pepperoni pizza which literally just tasted of salt, nothing else. I threw the whole thing away. This all cost me slightly over £30 which regardless of quality for a small order of meatballs and a standard size pizza is very expensive but let me reiterate the point, the ‘meal’ was DISGUSTING.

I really wanted to like this restaurant but was very disappointed. i had calves liver with mashed potato, it was £19.95, no vegetables included and an optional a side order of brocolli was £5. It was ok, I don't think worth the price. My mother had lasagna which she said was tasty but it had hard/crusty pieces of lasagna pieces in it, she also ordered a side salad which had very little dressing on it. My partner had broccoli risotto, it was uncooked making the rice hard and the risotto not creamy, it was also very tasteless. We were being treated to the meal so hadn't said anything to the waiter however, to be fair, he did ask if everything was ok when he noticed it was hardly touched and my partner gave him his feedback. The waiter did aplogise, however when he brought the bill he had included a 10% service charge (there is also a tip box on the bar counter). We had to ask for that to be taken off. Overall very disappointing, I was also disappointed to see optional services charges added to the bill, a trait from London that it would be sad to see happening in Leeds. Automatically adding an optional charge to the bill which people have to ask to be taken off seems rather underhand.

This is a sweet little place that I’ve often stopped at to sit out for a coffee or a beer in their little courtyard to the side, but friends have started eating there and recommended it when we were last out together, so we stopped in for a bite. First class! The service is friendly and attentive, the atmosphere relaxed and family friendly, the layout cosy but not stifling, and the food was excellent. Incredible value for money, and really decent portions. I’m a seafood fan and the pasta in a brandy sauce was delicious. My friends went with a tuna sandwich and a sharing platter that had so much food on it we weren’t sure if we hadn’t over-ordered, but it all went down a treat. A proper gem in this little parade of shops and eateries. I’ll definitely be back!!

Called in for breakfast with my partner. He had the eggs royale, I had a ham and mushroom omelette which was delicious and beautifully seasoned with herbs. Nice drinks and very friendly and welcoming service.

Incredible breakfast! I’ve been twice now, had the Full English first time then the Eggs Benedict. Food it’s absolutely delicious, the staff are so friendly and service is really quick. I highly recommend and will definitely be back!

I booked a table here for my birthday Breakfast. It was recommended by a close friend. I'm not a big eater so opted for the veggie full breakfast. I thought It was slightly more food than I could manage. But by far one of the tastiest veddie breakfasts I've ever had. I'd go again as a treat.

Unfortunately I don't recommend it! I ordered avocado toast and after 10 minutes my stomach started to feel sore! There was no way I could get to work, so the 20-minute drive home was a nightmare! At home I vomited everything 🤮 and I was dying by the evening... I avoid it at all!!!

Been here multiple times, never disappointed. Service is always amazing, very tentative and quick with serving. Food I always spot on, it’s my go to spot for breakfast. Also small point, but I’m a big fan of the decor. Extra points for gluten free options.

Wow wow wow wow wow…….i called in as my daughter was at a nearby party and was totally in love with the place …..my coffee was fantastic and a real pleasure to enjoy it in sure a nice atmosphere. I ordered the eggs Benedict with ham and it was amazing……..the only problem I found with it was it was over too quickly due to it being amazing Will definitely return when I’m next in the area and will recommend to everyone I meet Service was fast and pleasant and and just bloody lovely Well done guys

Have been to La Petite many times over the last few years. The new owners have now been in about one year and the standard has risen dramatically back to where it was as one of the best in the area. Service and food were excellent will definitely be returning

We dropped in on speck for a drink but also had some Baklava which was stunning. Great atmosphere and really friendly staff.

We had a brilliant evening on the 23rd of December. There were 8 adults and a baby. The festive menu was absolutely delicious, we couldn't fault anything. It was such good value too. The staff were very attentive and looked after us very well.

This was our second visit recently to La Petite for dinner and once again we found the food to be lovely, generous portions & really good value. The service is really friendly & attentive & the place has a nice intimate atmosphere. During the day the place is more casual coffee shop & cafe & I suspect not enough people realise that it offers a really nice evening dinner menu ( chef formerly from San Carlo Flying Pizza) Highly recommend giving this place a try & we'll definitely be back again soon!

Not impressed. Asked for a cheese toastie without ham as veggie. No substitute offered such as tomatoes. Came in two white slices of bread from a cheap loaf. Very bland. Also ordered French fries which never came.

I ordered two coffees, a flat white, and a Americana. My wifes Americana came without a crema. A crema is the white layer on the surface of a well made black coffee. Made by a barista. These coffees were completely rubbish. No crema, and frankly zero coffee taste in my flat white. If a place does not know the basics of making good coffee but charge £6.40 for two coffees, maybe they should stick to selling instant coffee for a £1. LEARN HOW TO MAKE REAL COFFEE AND STOP PRETENDING YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING....YOU DO NOT. The coffee here is total rubbish do not waste your money. Also receiving an apaulling reply to an honest opinion makes this place even more disgraceful The pictures so how a professional makes a flat white... Not the rubbish made at Le Petit. Awful. Avoid.

Meandering around Roundhay Lake and felt peckish by 9am. Parked by the roadside and chose an outside table. Delicious breakfast, we liked how the bacon was slightly edge-chargrilled. Pancakes were superb, with sinful caramel drizzle. Coffee could have had more oomph though. All in all, a lovely place.

When you have a very expensive industrial coffee machine, you would expect the staff to know how to use it...Wrong.. They have no idea what a crema is, on a black coffee. I would expect a coffee shop to know how to make good coffee, or maybe stick to just making instant. A crema is nothing to do with milk or cream, its the layer that builds up on black coffee, a bit like a head on a pint of beer.

Great food and great service. Really good breakfast menu which kids, parents and grandparents all enjoyed and the tea and coffee selection was great. Service was just as good as the food, helpful, polite and made us all feel welcome. Highly recommend to visit.

We decided to try this place as we were visiting the area and based on the reviews we thought it was a good idea. Sadly the food wasn’t great (the pizza was ok). The toasted sandwiches weren’t properly toasted and the ham wasn’t properly warmed (and was unpleasant and taken out of the toastie). Also, the ham in one of the cold sandwiches was warm. Really disappointed. We did receive a refund for the uneaten items.

I recently organised a wine tasting here with supper for 22 people. They were so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. We had the focaccia bread followed by a selection of pasta based dishes. Everyone was very complimentary about the venue and foo£ and we had a good time. I would recommend this venue. For good food and caring staff.

Wonderful and yummy food with brilliant customer services. As a regular customer, I recommend this restaurant highly to everyone to try once, you won’t regret it. All the foods are great, especially the Melinzana Salad and Aranchini which are the best and tasty foods that cook very nicely and well.

I met a client here earlier today. We had between us 3 espresso and an Americano coffee. Staff were polite, tables were clean and the service was good.

Staff very pleasant, but food not so much. The aubergine dish I had was just like a load of slop, as in unliquidised soup. Not very tasty, bland and lukewarm. Couldn't eat it all. Maybe other dishes are better.

I only popped in for a coffee, so can’t comment on the restaurant menu. The coffee was great, and for Oat milk lovers, they use Oatly which is always a good sign. Much nicer than the corporate monster over the road and I’ll defo go again.

Have always wanted to try this place given great reviews and with the sunshine we gave it a try given it has a decent sized outside area. Wished I hadn’t now. Had a cheese and ham toastie which was the worst thing ever, 2 slices of toast from a 50p own brand tesco loaf with cheap cheese and ham slice. Club sandwhich, again, using extremely poor quality bread, the chicken had clearly been reheated as it was that sort of hard crispy type not succulent and fresh. The halloumi and feta saganaki were OK but nothing to write home about. Stand out was actually the iced latte which was very good.
