Don't normally write a bad review but just wanted to say had a bad Sunday dinner here today and I have eaten here before and it was nice I had beef and hubby turkey which was nice and the cauliflower cheese was nice too..but the rest of it wasn't the big roast potatoes were still hard in middle I did try eat a little round the edge but gave up the other veg was hard didn't eat the mash as had enough it not been nice and my beef I couldn't cut so I took it home for my dog and the yorkshires wernt home made so not a very nice experience and for 31pound wasn't worth it told the young girl there but nobody came back to see us about the meal which was disappointing also

Friendly - even to dogs,.. comfortable and roomy... Fabulous food including Sunday roasts....A perfect stop on a glorious walk. What's not to love

Great local pub. Always two real ales on and well kept. Lovely beer garden round the back with plenty of seats. A regular spot for walkers as a bridle path next to the Pub. Also dogs welcome.

I've not eaten here but I've been in a few times recently and the atmosphere is really friendly, and the staff are all lovely. Just a really nice local country pub in a beautiful location. Definitely recommend.

They are open and doing table service. They have a nice outside area with some cover. Great friendly staff and beer/Gin.

What a little gem. The fox and grapes in pudsey was recommended to us by a friend. We booked a table today Sunday 28-4-2024 for 2pm. When we arrived we were so surprised, lovely traditional pub (dog friendly) the staff were friendly and welcoming so were the locals. We were shown to our reserved table. We ordered the Sunday roast dinner, the meat selection was beef, pork or chicken for a small fee you could have all three, I paid the small extra and had beef and pork. The roast lunch was amazing the meat was so tender and tasted lovely along with the roast potatoes, veg (I even ate the carrots which is unheard of ) and lovely gravey, washed down by a couple of madri perfect. The staff were welcoming and tentative doing our visit , we will be definitely be returning soon and might take our two greyhounds. We'll done to the fox and grapes pudsey and all the staff. We would recommended this little gem 100%. Thanks John & Chris, see you soon 1

I have visited the Fox and grapes a couple of times for meals with Husband and family. Small cosy traditional pub, staff friendly, adequate seating, although a bit cramped, not much space between tables. Unfortunately Food was bland on both occasions not alot of flavour, quality not up to a great standard. Drinks are average price. Street Parking.

Excellent , warm, friendly and good home cooked meal

Yesterday I had the jacket potato with chilli and cheese which was beautifully cooked ; fluffy, oven baked and stayed warm on the plate, served with salad and coleslaw. The lemon cheesecake was light, tangy and tasted gorgeous. On my last visit I had the pizza which was similarly wonderful and all dishes are very good portions and well presented. Not a long wait either but there are prepared to order. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and feels inclusive with all ages catered for either in the dining area or in the main room which has a lovely warmth due to the log burning stove, although the pub is centrally heated. Therefore a warm, inviting pub to enjoy a meal from their menu, on which the Senior deal is for only £7.95 so amazing value. There is also a Xmas menu, not tasted yet, but have heard the Bailey's dessert is extra special !!

Nice atmosphere, not so nice food. Went in the late afternoon on a Sunday for a roast, and although it was decently priced most of the vegetables were either cremated or tasted like they'd been sat out for a while and microwaved to warm them up. The meat itself (chicken, beef and gammon) was generally fine, but it was a bit disappointing regardless. We also ordered some pizzas and felt the bases could've used a bit longer as it was all a bit doughy.

The most disappointing roast dinner I've ever had. Gravy from a powder, overcooked veggies, bland through and through. The only good thing about it was the meat, which was surprisingly spot on... however, coupled with the dirty interior and overall lack of cleanliness, it definitely does not deservea recommendation. First and last time here for sure.

Love this pub and have been here almost every week since we moved to Pudsey. Very dog friendly in one half of the pub and a really super beer garden with heat lamps above tables and a smokers' area. The bathrooms could do with a bit of a makeover but you can't fault the staff and the chips are to die for. Live music on a Sunday and a real fireplace to welcome you after a walk in the woods. One of the best pubs in the area.

Very good food fish and chips amazing and chicken wraps they have really done well on the beer garden with the canopy and other finishing touches would recommend.food very good very friendly and welcoming will recommend

My daughter myself and two year old grandson come here a lot it’s a lovely family run pub nothing is too much trouble they don’t mind him running around as long as it’s not busy and the food is really good the home made chips and gravy are to die for and really good value for money would really recommend

No option to zero stars, I have eaten here a few times and it has always been lovely but not today booked for Sunday lunch and it was terrible the meat was dried out the veg was horrible too, so the lady asked the chef to do me another one and when that finally arrived 15 mins later that was just as awful as the first, I could of understood a little more if the pub was busy but it really was not. I was really looking forward to a lovely Sunday roast only to leave hungry and totally disappointed.

Just had another great lunch and birthday do in the Hut. Food was superb, the menu isn't pretentious, it's pitched just right with the usual favourites but some wonder tasting alternatives.. The chef and owners have got it spot on. Service really attentive but relaxed. Fun atmosphere. The live music wasfantastic. Such a lovely chilled afternoon and evening.

Cute pub garden located at the top of a nice woodland walk. The Fox & Grapes is the perfect place to go for a pint and a meal after your Saturday walk in the woods. You can order your meal via a phone app and the staff will bring it straight to you. Staff are polite and helpful and the food portion sizes are pretty generous, especially the loaded potato skins. £4 for huuuuuge bowl of potatoes, cheese, pepperoni and bacon! Ooof!

Spent a very pleasant couple of hours here yesterday. Fantastic sunny beer garden to the rear of the pub. Osset Blonde was my tipple of choice for the day served by the excellent bar staff.

Alas its closed like many other good pubs , but usually a lively busy place with good fresh made food , great atmosphere, fab staff, indoor outdoor seating ..... worth popping in when things get back to normal 👍👍👍

I been this place so many time the food was always lovely thats why i come back but yesturday i order fish and chips and was not cook 100% the fish was half done so i give back i get new one but was been done all disch on old oil make me not feeling well after 😰i think all was because been diffrent cheef then always!!!

In all honesty this was one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time. It’s a nice place to go if you’re on a walk and want to stop for a drink. But I would not recommend for food. There were four of us. They have a slimmed down menu by the looks of it, presumably due to the pandemic, understandable, however not much choice other than fish and chips, pizza, burgers or burrito. 3 of us got a burrito and I got a beef burger. The burger was rushed and undercooked, all the ‘home made chips’ were just reheated and old. The burritos were literally just dry with rice and beef + pepper, maybe a tiny bit of mushroom if you are lucky, no sour cream, no guacamole, no salsa, no refried beans, no nothing just dry rice and beef. Luckily it’s 50% off so we didn’t feel too bad but we won’t be going back.

Fuimos para una comida familiar de 6, ¡GUAU, qué decepción, la pasta evidentemente estaba en el microondas, agrupada y seca! ! La hamburguesa vegetal era pequeña con alrededor de 7 chips, ¡junto con la hamburguesa de carne real en el mismo estándar! El pescado era gris y en algunas partes no estaba bien cocido, hasta el punto de que uno de nuestro grupo se enfermó físicamente. ¡La lasaña todavía estaba congelada en el medio! Pero sobre todo la mesera fue pura grosería, vino marchando a la mesa con una actitud que no solo era irrespetuosa sino abrupta y abusiva hacia nuestra fiesta. ¡Nunca volveremos, es una pena que un pub maravilloso haya ido tan cuesta abajo!

Best Sunday Roast Beef I have had, ever!! So much veg, and perfectly cooked. Broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, parsnips, sweet potato, spinach, roasties, mash, a Yorkshire and meat!! Couldn't fault it!!
