Number 14 in Broadland

Sunday 24th March 2025. Fantastic breakfast. The 1/2 breakfast was really tasty. Toast, thick and not plastic bread, decent amount of beans, fried egg, little bit runny,( perfect), a few nice button mushrooms, streaky bacon ( so much better crispy than most places who insist on back bacon ), and the nicest proper sausage . Nice cup of Earl Grey tea, and a cup of coffee that was propoer hot, unlike most places that give luke warm to get you to purchase a 2nd cup. Didn't take too long to get to the table either even though it was I think all cooked fresh for each customer. All really well cooked, good service with a smile even though really busy in there, and all for a very decent price. All in all a very good experience. 10/10. One very small mute point, as pointed out by some previous customers, the latte coffee is not overly strong in the old coffee department, so if you want a stronger coffee m, order an Americano with separate milk. Everything else was so good , not worth deducting any points for that though. Will definitely visit here again.

Coffees arrived hot but it was just like drinking hot milk need to use a decent coffee. Then long wait for our half breakfasts. Streaky bacon never noticed that but it was very greasy and mushrooms were cold other stuff barely warm. Sausages were tasteless and white. Toast had margarine on. Tables were very sticky even after the lady cleaned it twice for us. They need hot soapy water then polishing or put oil cloth on them or glass tops. Wouldn’t go again, very disappointing after having read some of the reviews all I can say is the people who have given this place good reviews must be used to eating rubbish. Even the scones and sausage rolls looked awful. Then the waitress got the bill wrong I told her how much it was.

Amazing breakfast with really good quality ingredients. Very friendly, I would definitely recommend this place as the top place to eat in Wroxham

Have been here a number of times over the past few years and it's generally been ok.Prior to last visit we went a couple of months ago,just b4 closing time and got egg on toast.This time arrived before 3 and asked for egg on toast,only to be told that the 'tops had been cleaned down in kitchen' so couldn't have it.Then tried for the 'special' of avocado & egg and was met with similar response ( so why have it still on the specials board ?).Ended up with mediocre ciabatta and a sandwich, both with salad garnish drowned in balsamic vinegar.To add insult to injury the cappuccino s were more froth than coffee and v weak. Will probably not go there again.

My aunt asked for a gluten free cake and was assured it was 100% gf, the cake was very dry and fell to dust but after 20 minutes she was in terrible pain with stomach and bowel problems, we are certain this product wasn't gluten free so if you are intolerant stay away from these cakes.

Ordered two oat flat whites and got two cups of boiling dairy milk that had no taste of coffee. Burnt my tongue and threw the coffee in the nearest bin because it was basically hot milk. Shame, because the cakes etc. looked nice in there, but the coffee was no good.

Had spotted Number 14 online prior to visiting last week and it was such a lovely experience. Great welcome, great table and the lattes and Brie bacon cranberry ciabatta were absolutely delicious. The menu is so varied, we took ages making up our minds and that’s before you try and choose a sweet treat from the two cabinets! Thank you for such an enjoyable time.

On holiday in Ludham and had a very nice lunch here. Very busy but we were soon offered a table and our order taken and served quickly. Food was delicious and staff friendly. Recommend the prawn sandwich cheese scones and ginger crunch.

Mixed experiences I’m afraid. disappointing . As a local, we probably go in every other month minimum. Today was poor, last visit fabulous, time before awful. Welsh rarebit was wet as though not grilled at all but tasted ok. Eggs over cooked. Previous occasion perfect. Bacon mean. Previous occasion generous. Butter isn’t butter. Toast was nearly bread. Flat white I was hard pressed to taste the coffee and no “foam” top so looked like just a white coffee. Homemade cake that we took as a takeaway was so dry you could almost see the flour. Yet tray bake lovely. Sorry. Have you had a change of staff? We’d love to come back to support local business, not a national coffee chain, and will come back but consistent food and drink quality is needed.

Just okay, this place is a bit hit and miss. Great selection of cakes, but haven’t ever had any. Decided on the sausage sandwich, just 3 small thin sausages in chunky bread, that’s a no-no for me. Very nice young friendly girl who took my order.

Popped in with my Son on a Saturday afternoon in June. He had a bacon sandwich, I had a cake. We both had hot drinks. All nicely served by a lovely young lady.

Fantastic breakfast and the brioche french toast is delicious. We also had an afternoon tea to take away to have on our boat - VERY VERY GOOD value for money - the staff are lovely and friendly in there 10 out of 10

We dropped into this lovely cafe yesterday and we and our four-legged friend received a very warm welcome. The food was great - lovely sandwiches with a generous salad, and I’m told the sausage rolls were fantastic. Perfect spot for lunch.

We came in yesterday and had an absolutely perfect breakfast, everything is cooked fresh and to order. The staff were really friendly and you could see how the staff put pride in their work. They were more than happy to do substitutions on the breakfast with no questions asked and the cakes we had after were really moist and tasted delicious. You could tell all the staff got on by the bubbly atmosphere and were all more than happy to help each other when they could see the others needed help. The coffee was the best I’ve ever had , didn’t taste burnt or anything like that and stayed hot even after we’d eaten our breakfast which is something f you don’t get very often. I asked to speak to the management to complement them on how delicious their breakfast was and they were lovely as well. This will definitely be a favourite of ours and we will be visiting regularly

Food was cold and not cooked well. Tasted awful and the coffee tasted burnt, not to mention it was cold. Staff are ride. Manageress can do with some manners too. Cakes are as dry as the Sahara. Over.priced cafe which isn't worth the price. 1 star because I had to.

Lovely place, very friendly, excellent brunch menu served all day. Very good cake, I chose coffee and walnut which was excellent. All the others also looked amazing. Prices are fair.

My husband and I visited number 14 on a very damp dreary day but what a lovely welcome we received when we walked in.The young lady was very friendly and helpful,I had a lovely latte and my husband had a hot chocolate the latte was huge and lovely and hot as was the hot chocolate,sometimes you can go places and the milk is never hot enough not on this occasion.we also had a piece of chocolate and walnut cake which was delicious and lovely and moist.would definitely go again if we are that way.

We stopped here on the last morning of our camping holiday. I’m allergic to both gluten and dairy, so spoke to the cafe a couple of weeks before we came to see if they were able to accommodate my allergies. They could with no problem, so we booked. I had a full cooked breakfast with bread instead of toast (just in case of cross contamination from the toaster) and it was delicious. The staff went out of their way to check that everything was suitable for my allergies and asked plenty of questions (which I was more than happy with). The food was reasonably priced and I’d totally forgotten about the “eat out to help out scheme” so that was a nice surprise when we went to pay!!Reading through their menu and options, they can accommodate both vegan and vegetarian people as well. I’d definitely recommend number 14 to anyone- local or passing through.

We stopped here for brunch on a busy Wednesday. The COVID arrangements were excellent with each table and menu cleaned between customers. We had a sausage sandwich and a bacon and egg, both were quite large, filling and very tasty. If you are in Wrexham make this a stop. Brilliant.

My Husband and I came over to Wroxham after staying overnight in Norwich. We’re so glad we did. We were fortunate to get a table inside this delightful place and we both had half breakfasts. The meals were freshly cooked to order and cooked perfectly. I saw some breakfast sandwiches coming out and they looked lovely (and huge!!) great big slabs of bread filled with the best ingredients! The coffee we had was so good we had second cups and managed to share a piece of chocolate shortbread (well, it was Sunday Brunch!)This is a great place to eat - I wish we had been spending more time near Wroxham because I would have liked to have had lunch and afternoon tea there. Maybe next time. If you’re in Wroxham and wondering where to eat give No.14 a try; if you’re lucky you’ll grab a table - if not get a takeaway - you could always sit over at the Staithe and take in the view- it’s definitely worth it!

I and my partner ordered lunch to go as a birthday treat! And what a Birthday treat it was! The food you could tell was freshly baked and everything was thought off. Brilliant service was highly accommodating would recommend to friends and family will be visiting again soon.

We were looking for a local place for a late breakfast before heading out for the day. This was a great find as it had a good range of items: we had porridge, French toast and scrambled eggs. All very good indeed!

Me and my partner have brunch here very often, the food is absolutely lovely and the staff are always so accommodating and friendly, nothing is ever too much for them and they always stop to have a chat! I would highly recommend number 14 to anyone looking for lovely lunch, brunch coffee and cakes for such a reasonable price! We will never stop coming back!!!!

Absolutely lovely little cafe, great friendly service and COVID friendly. Very good with restriction and very lovely food. Staff were friendly when taking orders and quick to get drinks/ food out. Awful service, forgot my husbands order, no apology or anything. Asked for toastie got ciabatta, which was not toasted, and dry and tasteless. While in there noticed a girl doing ice cream cone, after dropping cone on the floor. Staff unfriendly Yuk.

At first impression it was nice, clean, but the customer service approach weren't nice at all very short, apprupt answers and def not FRIENDLY.the food was nice thou again they wanted to shut by 3 without telling us so you are made to feel unwelcome and its obvious that couldn't be bothered to be friendly, just wanted to go home or get on the there phone. I go again for the lovely sausage sandwich but def be to take away

I've got to say this . Had a sussage and bacon toast sandwich my god the bacon was so small and the sussage so small from being deep fried my friend had toast that was dry.

As lock down eased this place opened for rake away. I only had a coffee but it was lovely. Hot, a good coffee bean and well served. I now make it a regular stop on my Saturday morning visit to Wroxham.

Ordered a picnic lunch to eat by the river in Wroxham.VERY generous portions. Each box contained: freshly made sandwiches, homemade mini cheese scone with butter, home made sausage roll, homemade mini fruit scone with fresh cream and jam, slice of homemade cake, slice of tray bake cake, and fresh strawberries and blueberries. What a feast for one ! Delicious.Definitely will do this again.

This had such good reviews on Tripadvisor, that we went for a coffee. The cafe was lovely, attractive and welcoming. The coffee was excellent. But I ordered a fruit scone, £2.50, and was given choice of jams. But then was charged 50p for the jam. The scone was dry and crumbly. And for £3.00 it was a great disappointment.

Stayed in Wroxham during half term and stumbled into this inviting little cafe. Fantastic breakfast and lovely coffee that came with great service! Even took away some amazing sausage rolls and cakes for our lunch. Would highly recommend!

Called in at lunch time. very busy but managed to get a table. Very clean place. Had some homemade soup and sausage rolls and finished off with some great cakes. A place to find whilst visiting Hoveton and the Broads.

I phoned up in advance to check if they did thin cut bread sandwiches and was told yes , it is hand cut to suit.The sandwiches came with very thick bread and little filling.I left all the bread and just ate the filling with the small salad leaf dressing.When they came to collect the plates they did not even ask if everything was ok,they just simply took it away. I had asked for another plate so I could put the bread on.Was that not a clue that everything wasn’t ok?

Friendly service. We had breakfast here and this was very good although not the cheapest (You so pay for what you get)Huge pot of tea and offered hot water top up which is always a nice touch. Not a huge cafe so in the high season I expect it is packed.

The only place I have been when they serve you it's wot a smile 😃 nothing too much trouble I only had prawn sandwich but the others had soup one a pannini and the other a bacon sandwich

We asked Andrea if she would be able to prepare a buffet lunch (to collect) for 12 guests who were with us to celebrate our 50th anniversary in a nearby AirBnB. This she did for a very reasonable cost (sandwiches, quiches, sausage rolls, salads). The quality of food was excellent, home-made, especially the lovely bread and sandwich ingredients. Cannot recommend highly enough!

What a superb coffee shop , right in the heart of hoveton, stopped her for breakfast the best poaced eggs and avocado I have ever tasted perfectly cooked poached eggs , hubbie and son had breakfast and both agreed it was delicious. Also has a lovely selection of cakes , scones, biscuits, as well as light meal options , large selection of coffees ,teas milkshakes , highlybrecommend thiscwonderful coffee shop with it efficient friendly smiley staff

We had breakfast here on the first morning of our holiday, mored at Hotel Wroxham and this is just across the road, friendly staff great breakfast will definitely return and it’s dog friendly which is good

Stopped by for a late breakfast with our black labrador who was welcomed in with us, and made a fuss of by a number of other diners. Can't fault the breakfast options and teas and coffees we had. The lunch options and quiches, etc., looked lovely as did the cakes, all fresh and home made.

Stopped here for a coffee and a cake mid morning. My husband had a scone with jam and cream which was very light and tasty. I had the blueberry and lemon cake which was very nice and moist. This is a small cafe with no toilets. Good quick service.

We called in mid-afternoon, so were happy to see everything on the menu was still available. We had the 'cheese & coleslaw chaos' sandwiches, which came on thick granary bread, together with crisps & quite possibly the best coleslaw I've ever had. It was a meal in itself! My partner had a melt with cheese with onion marmalade - again with all the trimmings. Both tasted absolutely gorgeous.

My partner & I had lunch here, the bacon, brie & cranberry bagels were to die for & come with coleslaw & crisps too & very very good value & filling, so much so I had to take the cake I ordered away with me & I have to say it’s the best Coffee & Walnut cake I’ve ever tasted so well done Number 14, when in Wroxham we shall be back.
