This restaurant is a great way to start the day with a large range of breakfasts with everything you can imagine. There is few tables, however, and the service is quite slow. Apart from that, very relaxing and right next to the river with easy access.

Following a flat car battery had to take the car for a long drive and ended up in Wroxham. It was a beautiful springlike day so decided to park up and visit Roys of Wroxham. Ended up buying loads for my new little house so feeling peckish took myself off for afternoon tea or hot chocolate in my case. The staff were so attentive and friendly and didn't mind me staying for well over an hour with my paper. Lovely end to the trip to Wroxham!

We come to Hoveton every year and have always enjoyed visiting the tea rooms for a spot of breakfast. This year was slightly different. They have only gone and updated their seating! Where there were once lovely tables and chairs (a la country style seating), now there is a mixture of those along one side of the rooms and white fabric benches along the other! Obviously this is just an aesthetic and it is lovely. It's just not what I remembered and I am a creature of habit! The staff are all really friendly and very helpful. I am going to assume it is the manager/owner but the male boss who kept telling them off clearly doesn't understand his business or trust the staff to do what they were doing very well. My advice to him - leave them to get on with their job as they were doing it well! The important bit now. The food is pretty good and filling. There is a lovely array of cakes. You cannot order from the main menu before 1130am so you are a bit stuck if you don't want a breakfast. Also be prepared to pay a lot for the privilege of sitting on a white fabric bench and being entertained watching the manager/owner boss young girls around. It is very pricey and nothing is cheap. You are going to spend a lot if you choose to eat here. So in summary, we have friendly staff, a somewhat traditional tea rooms but sadly pricing itself out of the market as there are two other eating options next door to it, as well as a Maccy D's (McDonalds) just down the road.

I have been coming to this restaurant in Wroxham for the last three years on a regular basis and I can honestly say I have always had an excellent meal. The couple that own and run it are a credit to the hospitality industry always a warm welcome. The menu is wholesome British favourites proper fish and chips fish shop style not crumbed and frozen chips roast dinners with Yorkshire pudding at least three veg and good gravy an all day full English breakfast with fried bread and everything is well prepared and presented. Hot sweets or excellent scones or cake to finish there is no excuse to leave wanting more. Busy Summer and winter my tip is if you are in Wroham and want an excellent meal for two including a drink for under £20 try here you won't regret it.

What a find in Wroxham. Really enjoyed our home made scones, Cornish cream, jam and Yorkshire tea! We were served very quickly and with a smile. The price of the afternoon tea was excellent value for money. The man who was serving was the owner and was very pleasant to all his customers and it was a pleasure to have tea there. He told us he does Sunday roast and if we had been staying another day we would have been back!

We ate there while waiting for our Broads Tour to begin. We had jacket potato with tuna, jacket potato with beans and cheese, and a tuna baguette. The tuna baguette was passable. The portions were generous and accompanied by salad. The potatoes were also accompanied with salad, which included mango and pineapple, which we felt didn't go with the rest of the meal. The worst thing was that the potatoes looked as if they had been baking for hours - and tasted like it. The skin was hard and burnt and the inside tasted stale. It was a popular place being one of the few places close by where you could sit to eat but we wouldn't recommend it.

My family and I had a cream tea here whilst on holiday and we visited Wroxham for the first time in 7 years. This tea room was a little gem. The presentation of the meals was lovely from what we could see. Had an iced frappucino which was lovely and the cream tea was lovely - with the jam in little pots - was a nice touch. And the staff- they were very friendly- the man and lady in there behind the counter were both very happy people with smiles upon their faces! Lovely people and a lovely tea room with a Victorian-theme to it. Loved it and would highly recommend!

We eat here quite regularly. The staff are all delightful, helpful and really friendly and it is one of the few places you can get a good vegetarian breakfast, well cooked and well presented, with lots of mushroom, hash browns, good toast, eggs and beans - and no ghastly substitute sausages which are always quite frankly awful. We have also tried baked potatoes, salads and other menu items and they never disappoint. Full marks to the whole team.

Although we only stopped on this occasion for coffee and cake, both were delicious. The medium sized coffees actually tasted of coffee - wonders will never cease! The "St Clement's" cake had a lovely citric flavour and came with a little additional flavoured cream. Wroxham is a busy place, if you find yourself needing to eat there you could do worse than the Bridge tea rooms. There is a big car park just before the Bridge on the right, where the boat trips go from, park there and walk over the bridge- the Tea Rooms are on your right only a short walk, and you won't have to cross the road. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the place and the quality of the food, there were seven of us and it was busy, we only just managed to find two tables, but the service was quick enough. There are about 16 tables and it is airconditioned.
