Cracking breakfast, fresh and hot! Staff very friendly happy come again!

Came here yesterday at around half 11 and had the Mega Breakfast, It felt quite artificial and cold in there. There was also a customer blaring out music and videos on his phone which was incredibly rude and annoying. The staff absolutely should have told him to turn it down as i'm pretty sure he was watching violent videos. The food was pretty nice but the sausages tasted very hard and were overcooked. The staff were quite nice but you had to get your own knife and fork and were not told where they were which was kinda dumb. The location is also kinda out of the way so i probably won't be returning or recommending.

We popped in on a Sunday morning after a couple of nights away just north of Norwich. Dixies is a haven for anyone who wants nicely cooked traditional cafe fare. 3 choices of breakfast size plus veggie, and a great selection of lunchtime meals. There are also daily specials during the week, and crumble or pie offered as well. We had breakfast which is great value and cooked really well - choice of toasted or fried bread, and black pudding available to add for a quid. Also a good selection of smaller plates and kids dinners as well. Dixies also takes card payment which is useful if you've not got cash on you. Really worth a visit, you won't go wrong.

My go to cafe, always good food and served pretty quickly. Still fairly priced, stsff are always pretty jovial. Not many of these places left now. Excellent

Food was okay it’s your typical cafe, but for first time going there didn’t feel very welcomed we were a group from work and felt more of an inconvenience rather than happy to have us.

Food ok nothing special as my auntie worked there over 34 years ago and still has same set out and the silly table cloths food is ok I suppose but this looks like the early 80s sort off cafe Could realy due a serious update in my opinion only advantage is it’s open Sundays

i had one very tasty breakfast here and its a shame i couldnt even eat it as ive had my top teeth removed and struggle with anything. but i thought i must leave a review as it tasted so nice. hope they didnt think i never liked it coz i really did shame i couldnt finish it. need a false set n im only 32

The quality and quantity of food is amazing. The cafe is run by some amazing, friendly people and this place is simply the best place to go for breakfast or dinner in Norwich

Me and my colleague are from the north-West, we went to this breakfast place thinking it would be great but instead we got given disappointment. The was hair in our food, the woman cook didn't wear hair nets, unhygienic and got my order wrong. I ain't for telling reviews but thus was unbelievable and absolutely annoying they did that to me

after not visiting for a while met some friends for breakfast had the big breakfast , excellent service from the happy and friendly lady at he counter and the breakfast was excellent 10/10 at value for money i think £6-50 as i was treated by friends.

Visiting Norwich, searched for cafes with good reviews & opted for this place. The reviews & photos were right! We both had all day breakfast which was brilliant. Very friendly staff & locals. Most expensive meal on the menu board was, wait for it, £7! A real gem of a find, we’ll be back!

Brilliant cafe. The make a first-class cuppa and the food is always plentiful, hot and not long to get. There is a small car park but you can park on the road outside. and once you have had you fill you can nip next door for a haircut.

Took family, all bellies full, everyone happy. Does what it says on the tin....... Floor was wonky, but that was a giggle. Cutlery not amazing quality, BUT CLEAN. And to me that's far more important. And if I got new cutlery and the price went up, I'd moan at that, so all In all, very impressed. Speedy service, happy workers, tables being cleaned properly. My children were even given a kit kat after their meal, and a little touch like that goes a long way. Thanks 4 being welcoming and we would love to come back. Oh, i thought the sausage was not the best, but afterwards I noticed I couldve upgraded the sausage for a butchers sausage for 20p. Which I def would have done but I didn't realise until after I'd ordered. So my advise is to definatly give this place a visit, and upgrade sausage. So pretty much faultless. Thank you, great value 4 money

Nice mega breakfast from lovely staff

Tucked away next to a barbers, Dixies Cafe serves traditional cafe breakfasts (think Greasy spoon), tea and instant coffee. Basic decor with no frills but lovely staff, and a large, reasonably priced menu; eg £2.20 for beans or eggs on toast, £5.50 for a big breakfast or vegetarian big breakfast (as of June 22). Get there early on the weekends as it can get busy!

Great Full English, served efficiently and courteously. A cozy little cafe serving hearty food and great "builders" tea where the spoon stands up in the mug. Prices very reasonable and the warm welcome comes for free!

Beautifully cooked breakfast. Generous portions, quality ingredients and served very hot on hot plates (makes all the difference). Very polite staff told us that there would be a bit of a wait as they were very busy but this was no issue. Would thoroughly recommend. Left with one very happy 16 year old who'd had his fill! Came for breakfast at 12.30 (states closing at 1.30) And they're closed .... Sign on door suggests closing at 1.30 also. In response to owner... Not everyone uses Facebook to use a cafe that's hilarious. Most people use Google considering most of your reviews are there. Keep your Google business page up to date regarding times. Thanks for the reply all the same.

Good ol breakfast. I didn't give 5 stars because they used to have really good sausages as a upgrade choice. But everything else was super delicious

What a fantastic cafe, the big difference between this cafe and so many others I frequent, is that the food comes to you HOT. This is the first breakfast since before the pandemic that I have had a completely hot breakfast. The food was cooked to perfection and the sausages and bacon was really nice. Other cafe owners and workers should take note and give their customers this kind of food and make sure the food is hot. Can't fault the staff at all, polite and friendly. Hats off to Dixie's.

Buen precio y buen servicio. El tocino estaba grasoso y las salchichas eran baratas, pero a tan buen precio no esperaría nada más. El estacionamiento era un problema, ya que estaba bastante ocupado, al igual que los asientos al principio, pero la gente pronto se fue y puso asientos disponibles. La comida estaba caliente y comestible agradable y perfecta para un desayuno barato sin emociones. Regresará con certeza

Excellent cafe and the cook (Paula) is a jem.i can't see why people would got to a fast food restaurant for breakfast when you can have a fully English for the same price or last.

Pedí un desayuno vegetariano Una vez que llegó, estará absolutamente lleno de grasa y muy aceitoso. Para 4 . 80 casi no tienes nada en el plato Tenía una boca llena, lo llevé al mostrador y me disculpé por no poder terminarlo ¡Ni siquiera me ofrecieron la devolución de mi dinero o una alternativa, ni siquiera se disculparon! Incluso el desayuno de mis amigos era tan aceitoso Nunca volver a visitar

What can i say first time at Dixie's Diner there mega breakfast for £5.90 absolutely fabulous value for money can't fault give it a go people you won't be disappointed.

This is a cafe that caters for run of the mill workers and local people. Not a big menu but home cooked and fresh vegetables. Would eat there again.

A family member had been and told us how great it was so paid a visit and were not disappointed. Ordered one of the many sizes of Breakfast.The food was lovely, plentiful and good quality.The place was very busy but we did not have to wait long for the food.We will be back.

On the outskirts of town, not on a main road but easily accesible from the Outer Ring Road, close to the Sprowston Road roundabout, almost opposite the fire station.The staff always smiling and courteous, the interior clean and tidy, daily newspapers. Good old fashioned fare, unpretentious, no nonsense, all day breakfasts, stews, roasts, etc., all at very reasonable prices. My favourite is the chilli half and half, (rice and chips). Closes at 1.30pm. Monday to Friday, don't leave it late to visit! Perhaps time for them to start to cater for the vegetarian consumer.

Just had breakfast at Dixies for the first time, lovely service and a great meal to start off the day. Nice and quiet atmosphere aswell.

Brilliant breakfast, lady who served us was so much help with the 2 little ones, bought our drinks over for us and got the chair for us. Absolutely loved the food will be back!

If I’m ever going for a fry up I will try and make it to here, one of the best breakfasts around, very good value and never leave hungry!

Value for money excellent service.

Awful food, chips over cooked in old oil. Cheap beans...more sauce than beans. Horrible sausages and bacon. Grubby looking generally including the mugs. And far too expensive to even be called cheap and cheerful.

The tables, chairs and crockery looked and felt like they were found at the local tip. Service was fine but the food was substandard at best and not value for money
