Noya restaurant in Wirral

Pre ordered at lunch time (1230) for a 1830 delivery for a family meal a couple of Saturdays ago. Bearing in mind we have a toddler who also has her tea at 1830 and then bath and bed for 1930. So the tables set, daughters foods ready for 1830 and we’re waiting just waiting for the door to knock with our food, 10 minutes goes by so i just rang the restaurant to see where it was at and was told it was out for delivery and to expect it in 10 minutes, (not the end of the world) another 10 minutes goes by, at this point my daughters finished her tea and is getting bored, no point bathing her yet as our food should be here any second right? It’s been 20 minutes now, still nothing. Daughters getting even more irritated and tired and both doing our best to keep her happy and entertained, whilst also starving! It gets all the way to 1915 (45 minutes after arranged delivery time) and still nothing at this point, no courteous phone call with an update, nothing. I call the restaurant again to see where the food is at and they say it has just left with the delivery driver and it’ll be with you in 10 minutes. Hang on, I was told 35 minutes ago the exact same thing? it was already meant to be out for delivery? So either I got lied too, or the food has been sat in a car this whole time, or it hasn’t left the restaurant at all and that’s just a lie to keep us happy-ish, who knows. 1930, still no food. Call the restaurant again and ask to speak with a manager, I get an apology over the phone and had my number taken down and was told they would call me to try and fix their mistake the next day (assume to offer me something as a sorry for the ruined evening). Food eventually comes at 1945 (an hour and 15 mins after the pre order time) delivery lady very apologetic. Trying to eat our tea then with a tired and irritated toddler who just wants a bottle and bed and can’t relax, tantrums the lot & the Luke warm, dry food isn’t how we expected/wanted our Saturday night to end up. The excuse for food being so late was “we’re 3x busier than usual tonight” … well that’s the reason you pre order in advance isn’t it? to make sure your food comes for the time you want it to? … oh and no one got back to us after asking for my details. Overall awful experience, awful customer service.

Went with my wife last night.Great atmosphere as you walk through the door. Food was excellent plenty of it. All the staff were really friendly and helpful but not intrusive. They put the remainder of the tahini in a tub to take home. The tahini is fantastic. I had baklava for the first time and was blown away by it. Rhe whole experience was wonderful and we will definately be going back. A big thank you to all the staff

Efficient friendly service. The atmosphere is good and the menu is fun and imaginative Having just been to the States where huge tips are expected we have a well deserved largish tip and the waitress said “ are you sure” . Great attitude. A good choice

First time eating at Noya this evening and we’ll definitely be back! The service was amazing, so much choice on the menu, the lamb was delicious, the salad huge! We also shared the chicken guvech and Turko potatoes, fab sized portions. Nicest meal I have had in a long long time

This cozy restaurant has left the best impression, the food is lovely and a really reasonable price for the quality and portion sizes. You can tell the staff’s main priority is to make the customers happy! (Especially Meghan). This is by far one of the best meals we have had for a while. Can’t wait to visit again soon.

I had a birthday party here and it was an amazing experience! I planned a birthday meal with about 20 guests and was able to have a meeting with Lewis beforehand and he was extremely helpful throughout the process. On the day, the staff were wonderfully accommodating (special shoutout to Meg, Rowan and Lewis) throughout the party. I was able to play a playlist of my own choice for the event and put up decorations. There was also a lot of space for all of my guests and we didn't feel cramped. The portion are also great and those who didn't finish could take leftovers home! Wide range of food options too. Thank you so much Noya for a wonderful party, my guests and I had a wonderful night and I would most definitely recommend.

We went in for a big family event and the staff took good care of us. More of us ended up there than they were expecting, but even so Megan, Luci, and Mariia stuck it out and took good care of us. The chicken pesto was absolutely delicious!

Absolutely brilliant, we picked this restaurant for our dads 60th birthday and it couldnt have been better. The food was delicious and never once was anyone left waiting. Lewis & meg were our waiters and they were both brilliant made a special night even more special, nothing was too much for them. We all were so made up with every aspect of the restaurant and would 1000% recommend for any special occasion.

A lovely gem that just needs the windows open or some kind of air flow. The pop music ruins the ambiance, however, the staff are fantastic as is the food. Outstanding service. The bar is second to none in the Wirral. The bar will make efforts on all drinks that no other bar I have been to will attempt in the U.K. Well done. Well done Megan.

This restaurant has good atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good on the whole but the wine was overpriced when it was only an 11% wine. My partner thought his moussaka was ok but not authentic. My stuffed chicken breast was lovely. We would go again but not for a special occasion.

We visited Noya restaurant in Upton for a special family occasion and were not disappointed. It was a Saturday afternoon, so not crowded. The staff, especially Lewis went out of his way to make it special, including coming up with special effects for the birthday cake. The food was great as well

We had an excellent dinner, it wasn't too expensive, and the staff were really lovely. I chose to have 3 starters rather than a main course, in order to try different things: halloumi, calamari and special Noya salmon. My son (I let him try some!) said the halloumi was the best he had tasted, - and in general everything was delicious. The baklava was also extremely good. My son is not actually a teenager, but there wasn't the option (when being asked by Tripadvisor "Who did you go with") of choosing "Family" without "Teens"!

Me and my fiancée was celebrating 3 years anniversary their had been amazing and fantastic in my life. The staff was helpful and friendly with great good services and the food was spot on and tasty with good services. I booked a table for 6 of us for my birthday and it was hands down the best meal we have ever eaten out, everything from the shared starter at the beginning, to each meal being perfect, and the little surprise happy birthday song and cake slice was so thoughtful. Everything was perfect, couldn’t recommend any more, there wasn’t a single complaint all round and we are all very eager to return. Service was amazing, couldn’t fault it at all, door was even held for us when we entered and left, my 80 year old grandma was even helped up the few steps, literally perfect thankyou!!!

Thank you for our lovely birthday takeaway last night, this was our second lockdown birthday. We have had deliveries from you loads of times but this time we order the Mediterranean banquet with porn star martini cocktails as it was a special occasion and I was so impressed the food was spot on it was the nicest meal ive had in a long time, as all restaurants are closed at the moment you still get restaurant quality honestly it was so nice , the cocktails was lovely.

We have used this restaurant most weeks for delivery during lockdown. The quality never varies and is delivered piping hot. The food is just amazing, so tasty and appetizing. It really is restaurant quality brought to your door. Staff are polite and friendly both on the phone and at the door. Fab.

We ordered a takeaway Mediterranean banquet for two + starters for a special Covid home-based celebration for two. What a fantastic surprise! Service was lovely, really helpful and accommodating, going beyond their normal delivery range as a favour (shh, don't tell anyone...). Food was delicious, really lovely flavours, not at all greasy and excellent quality meats. Huge portions, we had to save some for the day after, with a nice fresh salad and delicious rice accompaniment.Very impressed, thanks to the Noya team for making a lovely occasion perfect.

We have visited Noya numerous times and have ordered food and cocktails during all three lockdowns. Food is always well presented, hot and most of all so tasty! Had a lovely meal delivered for our anniversary last night. Only a few minutes late which was not a problem as they let us know.Had 3 courses all delicious. Everything had been freshly prepared and was plentiful. Have eaten in the restaurant a couple of times previously and the food that was delivered was still the same high standard. Highly recommend.

The food from Noya was SO GOOD and I could not fault a thing with it. The menu leaves you spoilt for choice , we went into full greedy mode and got way too much so it’s going to be leftovers this weekend! The entire starter menu is extremely tempting and in particular the halloumi and feta borek were delicious. Even the side salad it comes with is really crisp, fresh and compliments the food really well. Sauces and dips are all nice and home made. Cheesy garlic bread was proper comfort food.For mains we got a chicken dish and lamb stroganoff - both super , and for pudding we got the baklava (heavenly) and caramel sundae. Noya threw in a wee bottle of Prosecco for our anniversary which was a nice touch. There are all sorts of nice little places like this popping up over the Wirral , offering tapas/Mediterranean/ Turkish food. However this place is hands down the best in terms of quality and flavour. I can’t wait for restrictions to be lifted so that this place can reopen and we can treat family and friends. Despite being in lockdown we have had a lovely anniversary, thank you Noya !

Absolutely amazing! We pre-booked this for Valentines evening and couldn't be more impressed, it arrived within the window we were told it was, and the lady who delivered it was lovely! The food was ordered the day before and paid over the phone on the day. The food arrived on time, delivered in a very friendly manner. The food was excellent, kebab, banquet, hummus, halloumi, garlic bread. There was a red rose with the order too. All very lovely and I would definitely recommend. We haven't actually been to the restaurant and only discovered it during lockdown. We will, however, be visiting it for a dine in experience as soon as we are allowed.

We ordered food from Noya for our valentines meal and it was a great experience. The food was delivered in the time slot we were given by a very friendly man who had dressed for the occasion. Despite what I assume was a busy night the food was cooked perfectly and was delicious. We both ordered 3 courses and a cocktail (I would highly recommend the Chicken Thighs). We will definitely be ordering from Noya (and visiting when we're allowed to) again.
