Noya restaurant in Wirral

Food was lovely, tasty, warm and as advertised. The delivery time was shocking. Food arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes after it was ordered which was over 1 1/2 hours later than the confirmed delivery time. Delivery driver was apologetic and I appreciate that it was a busy time but I don't consider that delay to be acceptable, with no communication about the delay.

Food was perfect and temperature was spot on

Not sure what went on, but the app said the food was delivered. So I rang the resterraunt who said it was with the delivery driver and that she will be with us soon. So waited another 20 minutes, rang them again and they said "it's on its way she will be here soon" waited another 35 mins and rang again and they told me "she is still out on delivery, and that it will be here soon". Ten minutes later a man turned up with the delivery. Nice food, expensive, but really nice. Just not sure how she turned into a he an hour after the app confirming that the food had been delivered.

Absolutely stunning. We ordered the chicken kebab, yoghurt dip, feta rolls, sweet potato fries, halloumi and beetroot salad. Everything was perfect and arrived on time. Thank you!

Always a 5* the food is phenomenal and the service even better!

Bit disappointed unfortunately, the chicken on the salad was cold and dry, the wine wasn't as advertised, not much rice with the .

Always order from here and always get the same order. They’ve changed their packaging the food comes in and the portion sizes are smaller! Yet the price hasn’t changed! Also no salad included with the kebab! Not happy and will try somewhere else now. Let down

Food ordered for round about nine p.m. At five to nine the Just Eat App changed to show the "Food is with the driver" message. We are six minutes from the restaurant, so twenty minutes later, just after a quarter past, we phoned them and were told "The driver has just left." Our food arrived at ten o'clock, more than forty minutes after we were told it had just left. I do not mind if a restaurant runs late as long as they are honest about it. i HATE being lied to.

Order arrived a little earlier than stated (which was excellent as we were very hungry!!) Food was as always excellent, really tasty and hot. No doubt at all that we will order again from Noya, its the best around.

Said it had left but took another 35 mins - cold dried food arrived - they should have never took order if they couldn't deliver. Took an hour and 1 and 50 mins to arrive

Food superb again, pity the pots of sauce have shrunk

Pre ordered at lunch time (1230) for a 1830 delivery for a family meal a couple of Saturdays ago. Bearing in mind we have a toddler who also has her tea at 1830 and then bath and bed for 1930. So the tables set, daughters foods ready for 1830 and we’re waiting just waiting for the door to knock with our food, 10 minutes goes by so i just rang the restaurant to see where it was at and was told it was out for delivery and to expect it in 10 minutes, (not the end of the world) another 10 minutes goes by, at this point my daughters finished her tea and is getting bored, no point bathing her yet as our food should be here any second right? It’s been 20 minutes now, still nothing. Daughters getting even more irritated and tired and both doing our best to keep her happy and entertained, whilst also starving! It gets all the way to 1915 (45 minutes after arranged delivery time) and still nothing at this point, no courteous phone call with an update, nothing. I call the restaurant again to see where the food is at and they say it has just left with the delivery driver and it’ll be with you in 10 minutes. Hang on, I was told 35 minutes ago the exact same thing? it was already meant to be out for delivery? So either I got lied too, or the food has been sat in a car this whole time, or it hasn’t left the restaurant at all and that’s just a lie to keep us happy-ish, who knows. 1930, still no food. Call the restaurant again and ask to speak with a manager, I get an apology over the phone and had my number taken down and was told they would call me to try and fix their mistake the next day (assume to offer me something as a sorry for the ruined evening). Food eventually comes at 1945 (an hour and 15 mins after the pre order time) delivery lady very apologetic. Trying to eat our tea then with a tired and irritated toddler who just wants a bottle and bed and can’t relax, tantrums the lot & the Luke warm, dry food isn’t how we expected/wanted our Saturday night to end up. The excuse for food being so late was “we’re 3x busier than usual tonight” … well that’s the reason you pre order in advance isn’t it? to make sure your food comes for the time you want it to? … oh and no one got back to us after asking for my details. Overall awful experience, awful customer service.

At £15+ per head we thought it was overpriced for the quantity we received.

Our order was a bit late but the delivery driver was extremely apologetic. The food was delicious so more than made up for the wait.

Food was an hour late, not for the 1st time this has happened. Asked for a discount to compensate which was declined. Very pricey for such poor service

The food was ok once it arrived at 9.30. App said it had already been delivered when it hadn't. When I rang about this, they said its just round the corner. I rang again 15 mins later to be told it's just coming out of the kitchen, saying problem with app and website. I didn't believe the excuse. I thew most of mine away won't be ordering again unfortunately

Highly recommend, food was delicious

Disappointing. The kremali mantar ("garlic mushrooms in creamy tomato sauce") was bland - slimy mushrooms in a pretty tasteless sauce. Calamari was OK, but missing tartar sauce. And the lamb souvlaki pieces, apart from one, were really salty. The one that wasn't was really nice! Salad portion was OK too.

Went with my wife last night.Great atmosphere as you walk through the door. Food was excellent plenty of it. All the staff were really friendly and helpful but not intrusive. They put the remainder of the tahini in a tub to take home. The tahini is fantastic. I had baklava for the first time and was blown away by it. Rhe whole experience was wonderful and we will definately be going back. A big thank you to all the staff

Efficient friendly service. The atmosphere is good and the menu is fun and imaginative Having just been to the States where huge tips are expected we have a well deserved largish tip and the waitress said “ are you sure” . Great attitude. A good choice

Lovely meal, excellent quality food. Lamb was perfect, melt in your mouth and mash was delicious too. Chicken chargrill was lovely I've ordered this before and will definitely order again.

First time eating at Noya this evening and we’ll definitely be back! The service was amazing, so much choice on the menu, the lamb was delicious, the salad huge! We also shared the chicken guvech and Turko potatoes, fab sized portions. Nicest meal I have had in a long long time

This cozy restaurant has left the best impression, the food is lovely and a really reasonable price for the quality and portion sizes. You can tell the staff’s main priority is to make the customers happy! (Especially Meghan). This is by far one of the best meals we have had for a while. Can’t wait to visit again soon.

I had a birthday party here and it was an amazing experience! I planned a birthday meal with about 20 guests and was able to have a meeting with Lewis beforehand and he was extremely helpful throughout the process. On the day, the staff were wonderfully accommodating (special shoutout to Meg, Rowan and Lewis) throughout the party. I was able to play a playlist of my own choice for the event and put up decorations. There was also a lot of space for all of my guests and we didn't feel cramped. The portion are also great and those who didn't finish could take leftovers home! Wide range of food options too. Thank you so much Noya for a wonderful party, my guests and I had a wonderful night and I would most definitely recommend.

We went in for a big family event and the staff took good care of us. More of us ended up there than they were expecting, but even so Megan, Luci, and Mariia stuck it out and took good care of us. The chicken pesto was absolutely delicious!

Absolutely brilliant, we picked this restaurant for our dads 60th birthday and it couldnt have been better. The food was delicious and never once was anyone left waiting. Lewis & meg were our waiters and they were both brilliant made a special night even more special, nothing was too much for them. We all were so made up with every aspect of the restaurant and would 1000% recommend for any special occasion.

A lovely gem that just needs the windows open or some kind of air flow. The pop music ruins the ambiance, however, the staff are fantastic as is the food. Outstanding service. The bar is second to none in the Wirral. The bar will make efforts on all drinks that no other bar I have been to will attempt in the U.K. Well done. Well done Megan.

Noya is usually one of our favourite restaurants but was so disappointed tonight the salmon was to dry and over cooked to eat and for some reason served with frozen mixed veg, salad looked like it had been made days ago with brown lettuce, other food OK but not the usual standard we have had in the past won't be back in a hurry especially after the price we paid

Love this restaurant always have excellent food and service when we go. This was the first time ordering for home delivery and it was exactly the same lovely food as always

Awful. No salad, Pitta bread was covered in juice off the meat and too soggy to use. Peynirli Borek was barely warm and by the time I ate the first one, the others were cold, Havent ordered from Noya for a long long time. Tonight I remembered why.

This restaurant has good atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good on the whole but the wine was overpriced when it was only an 11% wine. My partner thought his moussaka was ok but not authentic. My stuffed chicken breast was lovely. We would go again but not for a special occasion.

Tasteless and bland. Unfortunately not one dish had any taste. Disappointing but it all went in the bin.

The hummus smelt funny and I found four it was off. The kofte had lots of grisley bits in but the rest was very good

Food is always amazing from Noya. Only thing that put us off were the lamb skewers in the banquet. They had quite big veins / arteries from the lamb that hadn't been minced properly, so was quite unpleasant to eat.

We had a lovely eve in this restaurant. The food was delicious. The service was great and the staff were very efficient and gave us a warm welcome.

We visited Noya restaurant in Upton for a special family occasion and were not disappointed. It was a Saturday afternoon, so not crowded. The staff, especially Lewis went out of his way to make it special, including coming up with special effects for the birthday cake. The food was great as well

14.50 for a portion of tagletelli I’m no Richard Branson so won’t be happening again

We had an excellent dinner, it wasn't too expensive, and the staff were really lovely. I chose to have 3 starters rather than a main course, in order to try different things: halloumi, calamari and special Noya salmon. My son (I let him try some!) said the halloumi was the best he had tasted, - and in general everything was delicious. The baklava was also extremely good. My son is not actually a teenager, but there wasn't the option (when being asked by Tripadvisor "Who did you go with") of choosing "Family" without "Teens"!

Food was a tiny bit earlier than expected, but when you are waiting for Noya food thats a bonus. Same great service as always and the food was excellent. Will be ordering again soon, at this rate my cooker will be redundant!

Fantastic food will be ordering again

Me and my fiancée was celebrating 3 years anniversary their had been amazing and fantastic in my life. The staff was helpful and friendly with great good services and the food was spot on and tasty with good services. It’s was brilliant restaurant when my fiancée sister give us voucher has been great thing ever. We come again soon

I booked a table for 6 of us for my birthday and it was hands down the best meal we have ever eaten out, everything from the shared starter at the beginning, to each meal being perfect, and the little surprise happy birthday song and cake slice was so thoughtful. Everything was perfect, couldn’t recommend any more, there wasn’t a single complaint all round and we are all very eager to return. Service was amazing, couldn’t fault it at all, door was even held for us when we entered and left, my 80 year old grandma was even helped up the few steps, literally perfect thankyou!!!

We had a gift voucher and preferred lunch. Table booked for 12.30 , it opens at 12.00 but only Fri Sat Sun. We got there 12 15 planning a coffee while waiting. A lady in charge unlocked when we were noticed waiting at the door....

Called the restaurant as soon as we put the order in as it said delivery time would be almost 2 hours was going to cancel but they told us would only be 45 mins. Ended up taking over an hour and a half and when receiving the message to say it was on its ways it took 45mins when I know the restaurant is only a 10/15 min drive so food was freezing

Always excellent quality. My family and I have been using this restaurant for 15 years. The flavour that they have created is easily equal to Greek food that we have eaten in Greece. The meals are extremely large and can easily feed 2. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was lovely as always but food was an hour late from time restaurant said it would be delivered. No update and we had to contact the restaurant after 45mins to be told it had just left. It arrived 15 minutes later. They did apologise for delay on the phone but issue was no update and no explanation.

Exceptional food delivered a little after the set time, but not a problem. Outstanding, fabulous food using the best ingredients, and it 'travelled' well.

The food took nearly 3 hours. It took a call to the restaurant where we were told it was still 20 mins from being done - it was literally 2 chicken kebabs! We were offered a can of coke to compensate. When it finally arrived... there was no pitta bread with it so couldnt even make the kebab. Nearly £30 quid for 2 tiny portions of meat and a scoop of rice. Dont bother!

Six of us went and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Every one was really good. Deserts were all lovely! Service was efficient and friendly. We had a great night and would definitely go again.

Food didn't arrive, I called over and over again, finally got a text reply to say the kitchen wasn't working as it should. Asked why they didn't call... was told there was lots of calls coming through and their team were replying to all.. then there was only 1 phone line (how are you replying to everyone) then even though it rang out they were on another line... If they had the courtesy to answer and explain I'd have waited for the order. By the time they finally replied I'd had to order from somewhere else... Still no refund, been told to complain to Just Eat to get my money back... Imagine having to do that with any other order, especially when I really don't have the money to buy from somewhere else, but now have to because I wanted to treat my kids tonight... shocking!!! Thanks Noya, thanks Just Eat!!!

Ordered was accepted at 19:30. It’s now 22:30, after checking the just eat app I noticed the restaurant closed at 21:00. Hopefully I’ll get my refund of the extortionate cost for very average food.

The food was great as it always has been, but we ordered the food at 5:35pm for delivery asap quoted as 65mins. So should have been around 6:40pm. After ordering that changed to 7:20pm. And then at 7:45 I called the restaurant to ask where it was to be told it was being sent out in 5 mins. I tried to call back at 8:20pm and no one would answer the phone. The food finally arrived at 8:35pm. How can it take 3 hours to cook/deliver 2 starters, one main course and 2 drinks?!!!! I'm sorry but it's appalling and will probably make it the last time I order from here
