Came up from Cardiff to the market , came across Nosh as wandering around.Food was absolutely delicious . Made from scratch, excellent service, so friendly . Huge portions and really high standard. Definitely returning! Thanks and well done to all working in Nosh and running the business 👍

Found this amazing cafe in Abergavenny market a couple of months ago. Been almost every week since. The breakfast (fry up) is probably the best I’ve ever had. Far better than 5 star hotels and top restaurants. Staff lovely too and very reasonable. The other food looks amazing too, burgers look superb. Follow them on Facebook, it’s open the same days as Abergavenny market. So glad I found this lovely cafe

We went to Nosh in Abergavenny Market for a quick lunch and found a hidden gem. The menu was extensive and ranged from a cooked breakfast to sandwiches, salads and soup. We had toasted sandwiches and a Buddha bowl - the portions were generous and delicious. The Buddha bowl was one of the best I’ve had and so delicious. The people were friendly and service quick and the whole meal was very fairly priced. Well worth a visit on market days in Abergavenny

Came here a couple of days ago. Lovely pub/restaurant. Staff were really friendly, which in turn made for a great atmosphere. We all ordered the Shin beef and guiness pie with mash potato ... which we all highly recommend, very good portion size too ... followed by a brownie with ice-cream and stick toffee pudding. Amazing food, thank you. We will definitely return when visiting again.

Outstsnding food and generous portions! Definitely recommend trying to reserve indoor seating though! Despite being end of August it was cold and blustery out on the picnic benches. Maybe consider bringing you own blankets if you are visiting (or suggest outdoor propane patio heaters may be a good provision for vendor in the future?).

We dined at The Whitebrook restaurant for a birthday meal. For a Michelin star restaurant, the dishes, in our opinion, lacked creativity. The vegetarian menu and standard 9 course menu were lovely, but nothing that blew our mind. We've been to many other 1 Michelin star restaurants that have exceeded our expectations. The service here was particularly poor on the evening - it took the team 20 minutes to bring each course out, so for 9 courses, we were here almost 4 hours for just a table of 2. It also felt as though they were under staffed, as waiters were bolting off to the kitchen to grab the dish for the next table constantly. I was served a fish dish and had to correct them that I'm a vegetarian. We also had no body topping up our water or checking if we are ok for drinks. These sound like minor points but for a place like this, I'd expect top standard service, which we certainly didn't receive here. Also absolutely no atmosphere to the restaurant - there were 6 tables occupied, all in close proximity and no background music in the restaurant. Meaning conversations were overheard by all tables in an extremely intimate and quiet room. It just felt strange overall and we were keen for the experience to end so we could FINALLY get home!
