Disgusting again once again the chips had been fryed at least twice no need for this only greed never go again

Large meals were definitely not large. Sausage wasn’t cooked, peas watered down. Disgusting and cold.

Rang and placed our order for two large meals to take away, upon getting them home non of them were large and had next to no sauce on what we ordered. Stay away from the sausage... never tasted a chippy sausage like it. Chips didn’t even look cooked. Wow

My partner noticed a maggot in my chips in one of the chips to be specific. We took it out and confirmed it was indeed a maggot. Turned me sick really sick. Aweful

Visited Northwood fryer after a long hard day at work only to be over charged and order to be completely wrong when opening on arrival at home . Fish batter all stuck to the paper so ended up with basically a plain cod !!! Once order was delivered after ringing to complain was sent with a fish not on the actual meal I paid for in the 1st place. Will never be using that chippy again

I had a delivered meal, with very prompt service ,with everything I ordered piping hot, and I will be using Northwood Fryer again

Just visited here for the last time, on the previous 3 visits ive had my order taken paid for my food and then been kept waiting for a long while whilst orders coming in from the just eat app have been flying thru the door resulting in rushed poorly cooked food and not much of it for the price they charge totally useless staff except for the poor fella who worked for the previous owners who knows for sure what a bad business this has now become I wont be giving any more custom to this place and wouldnt reccomend this place to anyone looking for a good meal

Lovely service with nice food. Affordable prices. Slight mix up with peas and curry sauce but other than that they were really good.

We use the Northwood Fryer a lot, really good food, not bad prices either. A local chip shop that’s fry’s their chips the good old fashioned way.

Freshly cooked for you, lovely food, spotlessly clean compared to many fish and chip shops. Huge selection and excellent choice

I been moved Northwood last year and I love this place. Food was always fresh but this time taste was funny. chips was uncooked just waste of money.

The chips are cooked in beef dripping which is a real treat,but they need to be fried until brown to lose that greasy texture that you get on the roof of your mouth.

What a great service and food also top class. Highly recommend this place well done guys. We will back soon.

I had a cone of chips and pickled egg, and I was quite simply the best chips I'd ever had, will keep going as long as they as good! Well done!

I have eaten here several times yesterday had to leave the food the fish was over cooked and hard, the batter tasted sour... it's put me off for a while now.

Local Fish and chip shop . Prices are very competitive. Quality is good. I would recommend the chicken kebab.

Sólo cambiaron a Northwood. Hace 9 meses chippy está a sólo 5 minutos a pie, el menú es variado, pero lo mejor ha de ser el pescado - son enormes, y más que suficiente para dos personas.

El pescado es siempre fresco, patatas fritas siempre están calientes, aros de cebolla son impresionantes y el personal siempre fue muy amable. Lo que no gusta. ;)

Who doesn't love fish and chips!!!!If you do you have to try here! The batter is amazing and the chips are hot. I always have curry sauce and mushy peas too which are also great. The onion rings cooked in the beef dripping are so tasty you'll be hard pushed to find flavour at this cost elsewhere.

Use this chip shop once a week and the food is beautiful, huge portions and great service, would highly recommend to anyone.

Very few chip shops use beef dripping anymore and those that do charge a fortune for the privilege. Pleased to see Northwood Fryer charges around the same prices as other local chip shops but has superior tasting chips and fish thanks to the beef dripping.£2.10 for a large chips, £3.80 for a large cod were very good considering both were a decent size to feed two people (most chip shops have cut portion sizes).Fish was cooked fresh and the chips were as well. Will return despite it being further than my local (Sammy Lowes which I like - portions here are smaller especially fish).

We have lived in the Northwood area for almost 4 years. The day we moved in we had fish & chips from this establishment. Tonight is the first time we have returned as the first experience was awful. However, we have noticed recently that it was under new management, so we decided to give it a go.Well I have to say it was fantastic. The fish was massive, the batter beautiful and crisp and the chips were gorgeous. Even the sides of curry sauce and mushy peas were super. We will definitely use this take away again and highly recommend it to anyone who loves fish n chips.. Trust me you will not be disappointed....

Not many fish and chip shops use beef dripping in the fryer these days but it does make a big difference Very clean with friendly owner and staff,the fish and chips always hits the spot for me

Standard fish and chips, affordable. Can't go wrong. First time in a while we've been back to this one but wouldn't say no again.

The service is perfect and there is never a queue. It is a welcoming and friendly place and the staff are very nice. The food is amazing and the gravy is very thick. It is the best chip shop in Stoke On Trent!
