Only stayed for one night on our way to Cornwall we did enjoy it and the rooms were clean the only problem was that we were told the restaurant opened at 8am only to find it didn't open till 11am which meant we had to set off without any breakfast so for that reason we won't be staying again.

Really good roast, perfect portion tasty beef and chicken double. Great staff, went just before 4 but still decent and accommodating. Great plate of food..

Honestly the barmaids are fat, laughing at customers and doing nothing. Seems like everyone has taken extra.

Great service and friendly staff. Accommodating to disabilities. And friends Newfoundland puppy was more than welcomed. Highly recommended.

Went here on a bit of a whim to meet some friends we hadn’t seen for a while. Our criteria was somewhere chill - easy food, no formal dining, good drinks, and generally a good place to sit for an hour or two to catch up. North Street Standard couldn’t have fit the brief any better, it was so good! Loved the atmosphere in there, the food was unreal, never felt rushed to leave our table. We will be back!

Frustrated. Kept getting the ores wrong payed for a change didn’t revive it and ended up paying for food to get sent back.

Good place for food and drinks. Staff are fab but food is a bit expensive. £9.50 for pancakes with bacon and syrup... And you only get 3 pieces of bacon... Top tip: 2 halves of north street standard cider is £1 cheaper than a full pint 🍻

They're not a cocktail bar. You can't call yourselves a cocktail bar if you don't even have vermouth and can't make a manhatten

Great place for Sunday brunch. Nothing too much for the staff. And art for sale on the walls. Highly recommend.

I had my 40th birthday party here on a Saturday night. From the planning to the actual event everything was perfect! The small plates were delicious. The cocktails wonderful and the atmosphere perfect for our celebrations. Dom and his team are super helpful. I’d highly recommend this for an event or a chilled drink and food with friends.

Had some great non-alcoholic beers here, however the food was a let down. The mushroom wrap had a strange spice and I ended up leaving most of it. The staff didn’t really seem to care, just took my mostly full plate away, no questions asked. Would give it another chance as the other dishes looked great and others enjoyed their food.

Great cafe on Bedminster's famous North Street. Would clearly be a nice place for a beer in the evening but we were here for brunch. Expect the usual brunch classics like Avocado on toast, poached eggs, sausage sandwiches and full English. But all done well. Good coffee too. The pancakes are massive!

Rude staff. Then pubs wonder why they go out of business. Look forward to the passive aggressive response. Bring it! 1star is too many. Female staff are rude and unwelcoming towards female customers. Pubs that don’t create safe and welcoming environments for females go out of business and then whine about it. Pls don’t put females that hate females behind bars. Thank you 🙏

North Street standard is one of my go to spots on North Street. I already recommend going here - great food, great staff, great drinks.

Nothing special. Gets very busy.

Very disappointed to drive 20mins here for brunch, get in a queue to order and then the 2 people in front were served and as we came to order we were told “sorry, it’s 11.45, brunch is finished”. There was no one else behind us either. Seemed a bit “jobs worth”. Guys, if ypu cut off at 11.45am fine, but don’t call it brunch call it what it is, breakfast.

Only stopped for drinks but good service and good atmosphere.

Really nice staff, food very good also, if a little on the pricey side for mains. Never that busy inside from what I have seen and not sure why! Good beer and wine selection. Recommended. Try the chipotle corn ribs and calamari.

A cool bar in a cool neighbourhood. Lots of relaxed seating, a range of food and drink that ticks all the boxes. Some outdoor seating next to the road

The roast dinner was a 10/10. Highly recommend.

Very quiet here, atmosphere was almost non existent. Had a pint here then left for pastures new. Walked up the road a little and it was much better. Edit: venue lost a star for a sarcastic reply. The only way the atmosphere would have got better when I left is if a space time continuum opened and left a void on North Street

First time visiting North St Standard the other day and did not disappoint. Very cool and funky atmosphere, friendly and fun staff. Great choices on food and drinks menu, the portion sizes great size too. Will definitely be back and recommending to others.

Saturday night was the first time I had been to The North Street Standard. A great venue and the staff were amazing...polite, funny and helpful. We all had such a fantastic time. The cocktail menu has a lot to answer for...it's just too good! 😄 as was the food. Thank you all so much.

Went for a pre-gig dinner on a Saturday night, two vegans and an omni. The place itself is spacious with a good atmosphere, it was busy but not full-would recommend booking for peak times. I enjoyed the vegan mac and cheese and the seitan burger and katsu curry also went down well, we tried the corn ribs but found them too greasy for us. The food isn’t cheap but decent quality and homemade. There’s a good beer selection and cocktail menu, not so good for wine and there could be more AF options. Overall decent enough service and a cool place, would go again for beers and cocktails but there are probably better priced options around.

Excellent burger, fish pie and small dishes. The chicken wings were zingy! And the fish pie was a good varied mix of flavours. Relaxed atmosphere (Saturday lunchtime) and friendly and helpful staff. Lots of gluten free options on the menu. We recommend and will go here again.

Most amazing halloumi and avocado toastie here today. Lush service, so friendly and squeezed us in for a breakfast just as menus were changing over. Really accommodating and lovely!

Excellent. Prices for the food are really good for the amount and quality you get. A £12 ish macaroni cheese with additional toppings is potentially more than enough for one person. Lots of good variation. Drinks are all reasonably priced for local pubs and has a good selection. Service is really good, friendly and helpful. All in all a very good experience, especially for the location.

Roast was pretty good but the music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk so had to shout, and the place was absolutely freezing (coats and hats on type cold), which made the whole experience a little disappointing

Good veggie and vegan options, cool place to go if you're in Bedminster. They don't allow dogs but they do good food.

Ok for a couple of drinks. Interesting IPAs on offer. We didn't stay for food so couldn't comment on that.

Great beer, great food, not enough tables

Service was non existant. Not bad for a beer . Food actually wasn't too bad. Except my garlic and cheese flatbread was clearly a tortilla wrap. Had plenty of cheese . Don't go expecting big things and you might be surprised. Didn't clear plates until we left.

Great place to get together for breki. Very yummy menu and the standard full breakfast option was superb! Loved the sausage, very good bacon and perfect poached egg! My partner had the beef brisket and beans which was also amazing! Will defo visit again.

This place never misses. Great for brunch on a lazy sunday morning, great for dinner, great for drinks on a friday night. Loads of seating. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Really tasty food. I come back again and again.

Really cool venue. Good selection of beer. Prices are okay, just modern day pricing! Came along for the comedy night which was brilliantly ran by Dani Johns so will definitely be back for that!

Staying with family & called round many places in Bedminster but nowhere had availability. Gave NSS a call & the guy on the phone was so helpful & 5 of us managed to get a table & had one of the best roasts we have ever had !!!

Really delicious Sunday lunch. Veg cooked perfectly even tho it was super busy. Tasty vegetarian option. Massive portion. So many restaurants are disappointing but this was yum yum yum.

Really enjoyed our first time out for lunch in months. Good food, drink and excellent staff. They brought us an extra main course that we hadn't ordered, but been charged for. No argument and it was repaid to us immediately. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good ambience.

Really solid Sunday lunch. Kitchen was slammed when we got there so they'd run out of a few things and a small delay but we were happy to wait and it was still great food.

Love the standard, the staff always warm and welcoming. The food is lovely and I have to say the starter I had which was field mushrooms in a garlic sauce was amazing. The best mushroom starter I have ever had.

The place was lovely and the food was alright. Shame it's in a dive of an area. The car park was full of NOS canisters. Furthermore the restaurant is over shadowed by the fact there's a Rominos just around the corner. Why would you go here when you could have a Rominos kabab

Didn't really have high hopes for this place but the burgers were amazing. We had a mac and cheese burger with pulled pork, while my partner had their signature beef burger. Usually we find burgers to be a bit overpriced but these were really good value for money... though the cost of a chips on the side was a bit of a joke. £2 for a handful of skinny fries... these were a bit of a letdown for me. Atmosphere was good, service was pretty friendly and they have a good selection of drinks on tap.

Visited with friends mid afternoon on a Friday, table outside which was sticky and remnants of tomato sauce scattered around even though the place was quiet. No mask requirements and order at the bar. The staff had no masks and seemed happy to chat to their mates more than customers. Kitchen staff also not masked. Ordered a few beers and dirty fries. The fries arrived on quite a small plate with some pulled pork and Mayo plus other sauce. The fires were obviously under the hot lights for a while as they were overly crispy and quite dry. The dirty fries were priced at £10.50 which is massively overpriced for a plate of dry chips and spoonful of pulled pork with sauce. I won’t be returning to this place.

Great place to visit for a drink

This place has the perfect cafe/bar/pub feel. One of my favourite places to get a hang over Sunday breakfast for sure, or work here with a laptop during the day.

amazing place to go with friends for a meal. The staff were super accommodating for our large group even though we booked super last minute on a sunny Friday! Food was delicious and we all had cocktails and dessert. We are already planning to go back. Recommended!!

I swear the dirty fries are better than before lockdown. This is probably my favorite spot on north Street for a casual night out with my family. I highly recommend stopping here for dinner and a drink.
