Ordered chicken kebab and lamb donner Iv ordered this lots of times and always chicken Shish and lamb donner. This time just four tiny pieces of chicken donner the rest was all just lamb donner with hardly any chilli sauce. Disappointed

Only order from here if you like flies in your food!

The worst kebab I have honestly ever eaten , kebab came within 60 mins and stone cold. The meat was tasteless and so dry was awfull , will never order here again.

Brilliant kebab house, live a few minutes up the road from this place. Great portion sizes for a great price and good quality, fresh food. Will not use anywhere else in Portsmouth.

Every item ordered was wrong.. so fustrating.

Ordered an egg, cheese and mushroom burger with grilled onions. Got no grilled onions, bun was soggy because it wasn’t toasted, egg didn’t smell right and well, I don’t even believe the beef patty was even beef, it smelt and tasted revoltingly disgusting. Wanted to vomit. I certainly won’t ever order from here again and I recommend no one does. Justeat can take a hike from now on too for refusing to refund for what was absolutely inedible unless you want to risk food poisoning or worse.

I haven't been to this place for a few years but would highly recommend it. The staff were very welcoming and the food was cooked fresh (was even given a free drink!)

Paid £9 for a Donna mix. But only received a small Donna. Used to be a good place to go. Need someone in charge at the front because its gone downhill

So brought a 12" meat feast pizza. Came 20mins before ETA and they could have used those 20mins to cook it longer as the base was not cooked properly and have to put it in the oven to finish it off. Flavour of the pizza was good though if it had been cooked properly they would get a higher rating and possibly a repeat customer. But alas I won't be going back.

After 90 minutes we tried to call again, however our calls were purposely not being answered. Food turned up at 20.40, and was cold. Will not be using North End kebab again, and we don't appreciate being lied to.

Ive been using this kebab house for a few years and believe is the best one in Northend and surrounding area, the kebabs are always delicious, staff are always friendly. I have never had a problem here, I am surprised at the negative reviews. The food was beautiful tonight.

The only good thing about it was the portion size. The meat was not seasoned in the slightest and was dry. The chips were disgusting. Not ordering from here again.

I been using this place for 20yrs, over the last couple of yrs the quality in the chips has massively declined seriously would recommend to stay away from them! Although i still enjoy the meat i am repeatedly have to call the shop to rectify major mistakes in my orders! I believe i will take my business elsewhere from now on

Never had a problem till about 45 minutes ago ordered a chicken doner wrap meal was fine my boyfriend had a combo mix and it was more mix grease was vile

Took 1 hours and 45 mins to arrive turned up stone cold and the chicken was burnt to crisp not eatable.

Delivery took 1 hour 45 mins and this is the chicken they turned up with. Absolutely disgusting. Could not even feed that chicken to a dog.

Had a pizza and wasn't cooked, they then replaced it and still very undercooked base. Phoned to get our money back as wasn't satisfied with the food at all, was told no and we wouldn't get anything back . The manager on the phone was very rude and not professional at all, no masks were worn as we drove past at a later time. Never again.

I ordered my food from there yesterday 8/01/2021. It was cold and tasted like it was gone off and when I called to say this to them. They had a go at me on the phone and told me to never call them again. Well they just lost my business. So if you want a,poor services and food that taste like it’s out of date and a rude guy on the phone then this is the place for you but if you don’t want that then avoid it like the plague..

Very nice kebab, even when drunk you can still enjoy the taste, open late hours and extreamly nice service. Next to some pubs so not a far walk for a night out, if you live in Newport then it's not a far walk either.

Gave old meat from a pot. Would have been nice to have some fresh crispy meat as requested.

Waited over an hourfor the delivery when it arrived the chips were stone cold. The chicken doner kebab was hot but the meat was just a mush and the bread was soaked in so much oil, it's was not nice & went in the bin!

really bad ordered online no salad as i have allergy to onion so instead they gave me more salad than kebab to make fun they added a chilli waste of money never again

Most disappointed I’ve ever been from a takeaway food center, was over an hour and a half wait. The delivery driver said he knocked the door 3 times and called me. I’m sat in the living room adjacent to the door and my phone has been In front of me all night. Not one knock and not one phone call. Found out food was left on my door step after trying to call 5x. Once they answered and told me it had been delivered I opened the door and my food was there,Freezing cold.phoned the company and they handed me to the delivery driver who denied everyone and when I questioned him, hang up. I’d personally never give these people my money or time again absolutely disgraceful!! Order total was £15!!

Waited hour and 30 minutes for our food so phoned and asked what was happing with order got told they got it wrong so then got sent out the food was wrong phoned back and said it was wrong got called a lier by the man due to this being his second mistake of the night dishonest and not good communication skills so would never ever use this disrespect and dishonest take away again

I find myself making an up to date review. I did write a review saying the food wasn’t as good as it used to be. However over the last few months I’ve been back and they’ve got there act together. I’m so happy to have my childhood kebab shop back!

Ordered food from them as I have before and it was good. Waited to hours for it so chased them up POLITELY over the phone several times to receive abuse from the people on the other and to be hung up on. I was incredibly polite and patient the entire time but was only met with rudeness and abuse. Was told to go to them the next day for a refund, to which I went later that night and received my refund, but never got an apology at any point during this. I seriously recommend you look elsewhere, because the food is not even remotely worth the horrific customer service. Genuinely shocked such a place is still open.

I order food from here regally and it’s normalty decent. But tonight I ordered and nothing turned up and after 2 hours I’ve called up and theyve said they’ve knocked on the door already which is a lie. Asked to have my food made again as I’ve paid for it and they full out refused. I was shocked and appalled. Currently getting a refund from just eat.

We ordered a mixed kebab with garlic sauce and a shish kebab with chilli sauce, along with a side of chips. Garlic sauce contain more herb than garlic and as my pregnant wife is violently sick with most herbs apart from Parsley this was not a great experience, the shish kebab needed a bite compression akin to that of a great white shark in order to actually become remotely edible, I tried to chew a piece but I kept having flash backs of my grandparents telling me I could not leave the table until I had finished my piece of meat and I had to wave the white flag of surrender on this one, as I would still be chewing it whilst in my grave...... tough, raw and without a doubt inedible. I shall not mention the abuse from the man whom seemingly cooked the food( laughing out loud at this cooking malarkey) I know it is a common error but I am certainly not his friend as he suggested. On a plus side the chips were ok, crisp and hot. We complained to just eat( ironically named with the meal we couldn’t eat) and it will take up to 72 hours( farcical) when it takes 30 seconds for them to take your money. Rant over.... in short please give this abusive, unfriendly and kebab shop a wide berth as it is such a great display of just how not to give great customer service. It would seem that the customer is most definitely always wrong as the man whom cooked our food was just simply to busy and the owner apparently wa out delivering the “food”. As I am in Turkey next week I shall enjoy a seriously good kebab and make a point of calling the chef my friend.

Awful service and food. Two doors down you can get friendlier service and double the portion size. Asked for cucumber and they just grunted, the mayonnaise is sweet and tastes awful. The kebab meat is dry. Steer clear. Doesn't even merit the 1 star.

Ordered a simple kebab and chips! Firstly, the person serving me dropped half the kebab meat on the floor and then picked it up, with his hands and just pushed it back in to the kebab. Secondly, whilst he was waiting for the chips to cook, he stood there next to the fryer picking his nose and flicking it towards the bit where they serve the salad for the kebabs. The whole thing made my feel sick, so I asked for my money back, he very angrily shouted 'NO MONEY! NO MONEY!' frustratingly, I bit my tongue and left the shop, being £11 out of pocket and with nothing to show for it. I really would avoid this place like the plague, although you could probably get that as side dish with those kind of hygiene levels!

Ordered from here for the first time for work night shift with a friend . Used just eat app , was easy to do and order then food arrived on time . Little trouble with location of us but simple once you read delivery instructions I left . We had 15 inch pizza NEK special, chips and chicken donner and lamb shish. Was very nice and will consider ordering again soon

Pedí un llevar para mí y mis hijos, que consistía en 3 hamburguesas y 3 porciones de patatas fritas. la comida tardó una hora en llegar, que parece ser bastante estándar hoy en día para un sábado por la noche. Las 3 porciones de patatas fritas tenían queso. Mis hijos estaban bien con esto, pero no me gusta el queso. Los llamé, expliqué el problema, a lo que me dijeron que estaba bien, podía guardarlos, les expliqué que no me gustaba el queso, la señora que me estaba hablando por teléfono seguía transmitiendo lo que le estaba diciendo a un caballero, pero hablando como si estuviera siendo un dolor, "bueno, ella dijo que no le gusta el queso en sus fichas". si quisiera queso en mis fichas, lo habría pedido. A regañadientes, enviaron más papas fritas, pero para entonces las hamburguesas ya habían sido consumidas y terminaron en el contenedor. El problema no es que el orden sea incorrecto, era la actitud de basura que tenían hacia sus clientes. no es necesario.

Ordenado desde el extremo norte de Ken, pedí un pequeño donner kebab con salsa de chile y mayonesa, que es lo que he pedido algunas veces antes y estuvo bien, esta vez estaba lleno de salsa de chile, la salsa estaba muy, muy caliente y no solo eso. kebab se estaba ahogando en él. Comí comida picante. Esto no era comestible; picante. Esto estaba sobre la parte superior. Quemaba mi boca. Ni siquiera podía masticarla sin beber agua después de cada bocado. Literalmente puedes ver que tiene salsa roja por todos lados (chile). llamado porque tenía que hacerlo!
