Norman House Chinese in Reigate and Banstead

Have used Norman House for several years never a problem, but tonight ordered vegetarian quorn in black bean sauce, think they’ve changed chefs, hardly any sauce, & NOT Convinced it was quorn 😡

I just ordered King prawn curry with egg fried rice. How disappointing the rice is just rice No egg and then as for the curry sauce is like water also tasteless and it’s got big pieces of onion and some prawns it’s the worst curry I’ve ever had in my life, and I am 55 years of age.

All the food was ok, chicken chow mein is always lovely, so is the crispy duck...salt n chilli king prawns were great. Salt n chilli squid was inedible though, it was very overcooked and like crackers.

Ordered chicken curry from Norman House! You actually couldn’t call it a curry at all it was boiled chicken, Raw onions and a watery flavourless yellow sauce. It was so bad we re had to re order from another local Chinese. Norman House curry is on the left and the good curry onthe right!!! Absolutely disgusting 🤢 it went straight in the bin!!

Disappointing takeaway as it use to be quite good so will give this takeaway outlet a miss for awhile

Had a takeaway yesterday after not being able to eat since Saturday. Normally really nice but the rice was under cooked and had a crunch to it which was not very nice. Very disappointing spending money on a takeaway you can’t eat due to it being undercooked. Ended up just eating some chicken balls and chow mein.

it is a Chinese takeaway not been for a long time as moved. what more is there to that? it is still a Chinese takeaway

We order 2-3 times each month and food is consistently very good. Quick delivery service. No problem to vary some dishes. We like the vegetarian choices also and ten sesame prawn toast is yum and plentiful.

Norman House was our regular 1st choice but lately deliveries have been well passed times given when orders placed. Last time told 20 -25 min, 90 minutes later and 3 phone calls, food arrived but cold. The menu is not cheap, service terrible and they don't care, I won't be using them again.

We had a very nice version of vegetable korma which is essentially cooked veggies in yellow curry sauce. Glad we got it. The meat appetizers were so-so

Always enjoy. Good fodder here. A firm favourite in the area with lots of choice in the area but always hit the spot. Pleasant staff and delivery team.

very good Chinese lovely food very nice people that answer the phone when you phone for a take away maybe price is a little steep but very good food and they always through in prawn crakers and fortune cookies and delivery times are good

Always large portions delivery is always within time stated food always very good never had an item missed off our order thats why we keep returning

Este ha sido un llevar regular durante años. El servicio es siempre amable y eficiente. La entrega a domicilio disponible y muy práctico. A la comida, algunas cosas son grandes, algo normal y algunas cosas simplemente no vale la pena el esfuerzo. Los rollitos de primavera son encantadores, platos de fideos están muy bien.
