Amazing. It looks like a locals pub but it's a gastro in disguise. It was chocka.

We visited this place on a whim on a Sunday evening with our two little boys (12 and 10). The service was quick, friendly and accommodating. We ordered a selection of what are essentially tapas style small plates. We got bread and butter, mixed olives, bbq chicken wings, pork belly, and Valencian carrots. The food was amazing. Generous portions for small plates! The Valencian carrots were absolutely amazing and a new flavour experience for me. Highly recommend this place. Unpretentious and delicious food with good service in a nice atmosphere. They were also patient with our kids, who can be a bit difficult sometimes in a restaurant setting.

My family and I had a roast lunch at the Norfolk Arms today (Sunday 27/10) and unfortunately, the customer service we experienced was quite disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the some of the waitresses made us feel unwelcome. For example, when I asked politely if I could leave our pram next to our table, one of the female staff members told me "no" in an unnecessarily abrupt and aggressive tone. I then asked where it could be left, and she told me, "by the door, but make sure you move it by 3 p.m. because we have another reservation." I was then made to feel rushed in ordering my food even though the pub was not particularly busy. Finally, when I went to change my one-year-old in the female bathroom the same waitress happened to be there. She told me that as there was no baby changing table I should change my baby in the corridor rather than in the bathroom itself. I was quite surprised by this suggestion, but I followed her instruction, even though it felt inappropriate. Overall, I felt that the staff did not make any attempt to accommodate my family and would not recommend going here with children, in part due to the lack of child-friendly facilities, but mainly because of the unwelcoming attitude of some of the staff.

What a hidden gem!! So happy to have found this authentic pub serving great tapas! Good value for money. Lovely quick service had a good buzz. Seating at the bar felt like I was in the heart of Spain.

Authentic pub with great service and food

Would be zero if I could post it…. Every member of staff seemed to want to put a bullet in their head. As a piece of advice; to save the suffering from the undercooked food and spoiled seafood, I would say join them.

The food is great, in small portions (tapas), you can sit outside and enjoy the weather in the spring/summer.

Generally feel this is a really good place for an informal catch up and dinner. However, was disappointed this evening when ‘offered a drink’ at our table post dinner, served a drink and then a few minutes later, with a full drink, told that they needed the table back straightaway for the next guests. It was completely reasonable that there was another booking, however, I was not keeping track of time and we shouldn’t have really been offered another drink if we weren’t able to drink it. Politely tried explain this to the waitress, but was met with quite an aggressive tone and response that took us both aback. Disappointing.

Fantastic food and great service

We found it was just perfect for a late-night drink and food. Walked through the door and we were met by a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Table for 2 no problem and the food was damn good. You're not going to go wrong eating and drinking here.

We had dinner last night at NA - rich menu, amazing food, great presentation and excellent teamwork. (a couple of spoiled Melburnians)

First time here and won’t be the last! Delicious tapas from a fantastic menu which was all made on site and perfectly cooked. Loved the way they accommodated my group of 8 in a private room upstairs when we hadn’t booked (recommend that you do..!) Top service from Pete who looked after us and was super friendly and attentive.

In London on holiday we stopped at this pub that turned out to be a tapas bar the atmosphere inside was very unique and we loved it. The staff was amazing and Pete was such a lovely person who looked after us. The food is a must everything we had was delicious

I had an amazing dining experience at Norfolk arms! The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a casual night out with friends. We ordered a variety of tapas to share, and each dish was bursting with flavor. The patatas bravas were crispy and delicious, while the octopus was out of this world. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. Can’t wait to return for more delicious bites!

The food is bad, greasy and with a curious taste, a touch sour. High prices. The service is correct and it has a nice terrace outside which is appreciated if it is a sunny day.

This tapas bar is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the warm and welcoming staff make you feel right at home. Went for a tapas meal at Norfolk Arms and was the best tapas I’ve had in London for a long time. Service was fast, food was delicious and the atmosphere felt like a European cafe and so busy even on a Wednesday. Will definitely be going back to try more of the huge menu.

We have passed this pub/restaurant for years and have never been in. We finally went in for dinner last night. It lived up to my husband and my hopes. We thoroughly enjoyed all the tapas dishes especially the fig blue cheese dish. We will definitely go back.

Accommodated us an hour or so before closing, opted for a decent pint of Guinness and some meats and bread,fairly quiet at the time but welcomed and served quickly and smoothly.

I went to the pub to have a meal with my work colleague. We were having a good time until the manager of the restaurant instructed me not to raise a hand for calling an attention in front of my work colleagues as it wasn’t acceptable as UK standard. Our table was far back and I admitted doing it a few times to order some more food and drinks. I genuinely didn’t mean it was an offensive gesture to anybody working at the pub. After the incident the atmosphere at the table was quieter. I talked to the manager in person later why he wasn’t sensible enough to tell me in person and asked him for an official apology to ruin the night. He became emotional, pointed at me with his finger and raised his voice at the end. He left me during the conversation. To me his action wasn’t met UK standard in the service industry. It’s a shame to end the Friday evening like this.

Great pub and the staff were really friendly

The staff is rude and lies to get you to buy drinks when they are about to close then tells you to leave with your drinks half full when their closing time is advertised 30 min later. No warning. I would avoid it and support a better pub.

Wonderful experience. Dinner was so good and just overall it was an evening well spent! My niece loved the bread! She kept talking about it for 3 days. The place itself was stunning.

We came accros the pub by chance and spotted for Sunday lunch.Beautiful roast beef with all the trimmings. Service also really fast and friendly. Would highly recommend

10 of us went for dinner. Food delicious. The portions were a good size. We ordered something like 25 dishes, amazingly it all turned up at about the same time and was hot and beautifully cooked. It was all so good there wasn’t much left at the end. We had a brilliant time. Service was great.

Truly superb tapas, courgette, anchovies, asparagus. One of the party had the risotto, which was outstanding, another had the sunday roast, just as it should be. Prices are very reasonable, and I rate the Norfolk arms as better for tapas than other tapas restaurants visitiez recently in Cambridge and London.

I was startled by some previous comments. This restaurant was able to receive the eight of us and we had a good time. Service was fair, not particularly friendly, but food was good. Maybe a little too hot for some dishes.

Visited again with some colleges as it’s near work. This time was even worse. Extremely expensive and 100% junk food. Only the bottled beers we enjoyed! Food was terrible 😌 Service was good, nice people.

The Norfolk Arms is a traditional-looking pub with an extraordinary tapas-style menu, but it also serves an amazing Sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding. Tender beef, not rare but with such a marvelous au jus sauce, and it melted in the mouth anyway. I don’t usually care that much for roast beef but this was just an entirely different category. The salmon was served with broccolini, pea pod stems and samphire and it was also extraordinarily delicious. Among the best meals we’ve had in London. Generous portions, excellent selections of beer and wine. You can’t go wrong here.

The best value and tasty roast dinner in London! Absolutely great value roast dinner! Met a friend here, Spanish influenced menu generally but they have left Sunday roast unadulterated! The roast beef and Yorkshire pudding was fantastic - and I’m a difficult to please Yorkshire girl! Enjoyed a cocktail too! Tapas menu looked epic!

Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to sample any of the food (which looked delicious as I cast lustful glances towards the diners tables) because my pal was slinging beers down my throat faster than I could drink.

Have been coming here for years (two or three times a year depending on travel for work)- was one place we always did a reservation over the past 8 or so years on either Friday or Saturday night at 7:30 pm - this time around did not have our table ready until 15 min after the reservation and then stuck us in a corner made for 2 people and not 4 with a wobbling table. Then 5 minutes later sat a group of two in a prime location made for 4, because they didn’t have the business sense to tell the prior patrons they had the tables reserved at 7:30!!!! Poor management and will not be back as a family or business groups that frequented the location over the years. Instagram and TikTok followers beware!!!

There were 7 of us looking for a suitable restaurant. We found the Norfolk Arms in a quiet side street. Friendly conditions, good cuisine, surprising and refreshing. Unfortunately a little accurate in the closing.

Had a meal nearby and popped in here for a drink after. I like this area, great traditional pubs and all seem to have great customer service - this is the case here! I've added it to my "must do" list on next weekend visit!

Really lovely tapas. The female member of staff with the glasses was rude and incredibly unfriendly, making my friend and I feel like we were an annoyance to her Didn't smile once, looked miserable and at one point even said "ask him" and pointed to her colleague. Incredibly impolite. Shame as the other staff members were lovely. Overall would recommend based on the food and reasonable prices, for London.

This pub has a truly killer atmosphere. No other comments... I will definitely visit again if I go to London again. Oh well, I didn't take a picture, damn it.

I took a friend for dinner here recently, he’s managed pubs, bars and delis. He looked at the menu and said “no way they can make all of this here”. But they do ( they even bake their own bread, daily). One side of the menu holds a full list of tapas, the other a mix of Mediterranean and modern English starters, mains and desserts. All are excellent, there are reasonably priced and intelligently chosen wines, beers bottled, on taps and pumps. By the time we finished our meal my friend said “okay, I take it all back”, and has been pestering me to return! If you aren’t near the Norfolk, try their sister pub, The Queens Head and Artichoke, a stone’s throw from Gt Portland St Station. The decor and atmosphere is different, but equally great. The menu is slightly different also, but just as tempting. The finest two pubs I know to enjoy superb food, service and ambience. Go on, visit!

Sam S is right, this is a gem! I brought a publican friend of mine here who said ““they can’t make all this here” , on reading the menu. But they do, a great selection of tapas on one side of the menu, and a fine mix of Mediterranean and modern English dishes on the other. Always fish, vegetarian and gluten free options, well priced and interesting wines, beers on pump and tap. The staff are welcoming and friendly, always happy to advise, the Norfolk even bakes its own bread. My publican friend keeps asking me when we can dine there again, what more can I say! Also, check out their sister pub, The Queens Head and Artichoke, very near Gt Portland Street Station. It’s a different atmosphere and decor, different menu, and just as worthy of a visit!

Un pub sympathique, avec une note végétale dans la déco qui apporte beaucoup. Les tapas sont très bonnes, par contre c'est dommage qu'ils ne nous aient pas averti en arrivant que la cuisine allait bientot fermer car nous avons du commander rapidement le reste des plats et n'avons pas pu en reprendre ensuite. Service assez inégal avec une personne très sympathique et la seconde peu aimable.

I tend to find gastropubs a bit hit 'n miss but this place definitely didn't disappoint. A beautiful old pub with a great atmosphere and top quality tapas. Good value too and generous portions. Make sure you book ahead as we went on a Thursday evening and it was full to the rafters!

To Debora and all Your Team at the Norfolk Arms, I can’t thank you enough for making my husband’s surprise birthday dinner such a special night. We’d eaten with you before so had a good idea what to expect however I was blown away by the standard and quality of the food on the night, no mean feat for a 3-course dinner for 30 people we just had the best night. The Norfolk Arms is such a brilliant place, great atmosphere, delicious food, wine and fantastic service couldn’t ask for more!

The staff acted like we’d inconvenienced them asking for another chair to sit our party and weren’t welcoming at all when we arrived. Plenty of lovely similar venues nearby, would avoid this place like the plague!

Very poor cuz as I came in ask for one table & I waited over half an hour & yet 3 people came in & within 5 mins they got a table & I ask the waitress why I spend 30 mins waiting & yet 3 people got the table, all she said it the boss 😳, I just left & went across the road fish & chips restaurant & they been brilliant service

Fantastic food! Best risotto I have ever had in a pub... Staff was lovely. Very good suprise! It's a shame I couldn't stay for dessert (running to the theatre), otherwise I would have loved to have one! I recommend.

A great nice little pub with great cider and glasses

Visited just after Xmas and it was heaving. A last minute booked and was well looked after by the hardworking crew. Food and wine amazing as ever!

This establishment is around the corner from my son’s digs so naturally we tried it out. A gastropub specialising in Spanish tapas. I enjoyed their olives as nibbles which were properly stored in a clay container to retain it’s freshness. The tapas was tasty. The serving staff were pleasant. The overall experience felt okay. The pub connotation let it down as we are not ordinarily pub goers.

Lovely little restaurant/pub - they have a Spanish-inspired menu, which was fairly extensive. Prices were very reasonable for London and service was much quicker than you'd normally get. Will happily go back again.

Super atmosphere and service in this local neighbourhood gem. Wholesome, generous well cooked mediteranian and spanish tapas, with great wine list. Octopus was so good! very buzy but not overly loud on the friday eve we visted. Dinner for two plus bottle of wine was reasonable we found, given central location. Looking to return soon. Great time.

Really nice pub with small plates of tapas but also little meze type of things...the sausage (I forgot the name of it) was amazing, the artichoke hearts could've Dundee with a little more "something" i.e. was a bit blend... I also had a normal dinner there before, which was good... I'll be back!!

The food was absolutely 5 star. To be clear, this is not a pub, it is a tapas restaurant in a pub. We had tapas, mostly vegetarian, and they were exceptional. Each dish was sincere and full of subtle flavors. The kitchen moved quickly. The wine was decent. I am, however, shaving one star due to the ambience which was crowded, noisy and a bit shabby.

This pub has tapas, which were very nice. They also had Sunday roast, which was fine. They had a small selection of draughts, but that included some microbrews, so good enough for me. Service was OK - they were clearly overworked and rushing around as the place was jammed. Service got better when it settled down a bit. You should certainly check it out if you have had your fill of normal pub food. The tapas menu is large and seemed very good.

I’m not sure that “modern English small plates” as described in Google maps is a good or accurate description. Call it what it really is: “incredibly good tapas”! Don’t be shy! And the service was awesome too! I’m from the US and would’ve never expected such great tapas from what (to me) looked like a traditional English pub.

The tapas was very good, and fairly priced. But the service was awful. The wait staff lounged around with looks on their faces like having customers was a major imposition on their evening. It took 20 minutes for them to take our order. Food did arrive promptly, but the table remained uncleared at the end of the meal until I called for the bill. The bill included a service charge.......

Great food, great service, will return for the Tapas but the linguini with sea food was amazing 😋

Excellent food, friendly efficient service, and plenty of space around us on a Saturday evening so noise levels weren't too high and conversation was easy. I was with two vegetarians so we stuck to the vegetarian options on the tapas menu, everything was great and there was plenty of choice. I would definitely go back and based on my visit this place deserves a much higher rating than it currently has.

Smart pub style restaurant, nicely presented with super friendly staff. Tapas style menu we totally overordered, but the food was extremely good. Definitely worth taking a look. Nice to sit both inside and outside (the streets aren't too busy)

The tapas were great although a few of our choices were unavailable. The service however was very poor. Perhaps short staffed but it would have been nice to have seen a smile! When I complained about the wait to pay I was told she was serving other customers. She then put an incorrect amount on one card and had to wait for the manager but didn't know where they were. Such a shame as the service hadn’t been an issue in the past.

We love this place. We regularly meet friends and family in the King’s Cross area and it’s so handy. Great tapas and a lovely atmosphere and good service. Prices are reasonable and good wine choices.

The quality of the food and service was beyond expectations. Some romance here. Loved the blue cheese, walnuts & honey on toast. Very good Sunday roast.

We had the traditional Sunday Roast meal here and it was great. My wife had the pork meal while I have the beef and we shared. I believe the pork was better, more flavorful. Highly recommend for Sunday Roast.

Here food comes first, a large selection of Tapas plates, all well served and tasted delicious, the aromas floating around the pub were delightful. Every table was taken and that was on a Tuesday, good to make a reservation a few days ahead. The staff were warm and effortlessly efficient.

We had a great experience with both service and food in april 2022 and sent back since we were in the neigbourhood today - so disapointed The food was tasteless and over or undercooked- ordered the Lamb and Rojones tapas together with dates stuffen with goateschees and the blir spanish cheese bruchettas - the two later ones was good as well as their home baked bread, though oliveoil and salt would be nice instead of butter with it. Unfortunately we found the service slow and unattentive despoter a skor monday early evening - arriverat around 7:30 pm No one asked us if we wanted refill of our drinks and we had to ask for both refill and water After ordering just drinks when they picked up our plates with leftovers no question of everything was ok , if we wanted anything else we also Aspedalsvägen for paying- took a while to get the bill and still no question if we were happy with the food or wanted anything else. Last time in april 2022 so different - very attentive staff, the food was great and we where all happy. No further rekommendations from us - sorry

Nice menu, the food is nice, tasted the seabass and the goulash. The staff is OK, a bit noisy ..so not good for conversation.

Group booking for 6, lovely tapas, bit slow service. Was all set to rave about it and recommend to friends/colleagues (we work near by) but unfortunately the staff pandered to one customer next to us who clearly thought our party (of 3 by then) were too loud and we were told to quieten down by the staff. At 8pm ... In a pub ... Not sure we'll be back.

A good, central location for Euston & St Pancras/Kings Cross. The atmosphere is lively, the choice of food is wide & good value.

The Norfolk Arms in Bloomsbury, London is an old pub offering a large menu of meals and tapas. There is also a large drinks menu too. It gets very busy, so booking for a meal is recommended. The food when ordered arrived quite quickly and was tasty and well cooked. The Norfolk Arms can be quite noisy, but it is worth a visit. The toilets too are immaculately clean.

Don't be put off from the outside! Inside is full of amazing decor with excellent food to go with it. Would really recommend this. My only slight criticism is the the service did deteriorate as it got busy as we where sitting in a corner and were a bit forgotten about

Probably the most unfriendly pubs I've ever been in. Only popped in for a quick drink at 5pm, the place was almost empty and although tables were booked from 6pm they wouldn't let us use them as they had set them for dinner already. Perhaps if the staff sitting down taking up space eating their dinner moved elsewhere there would be room. The staff were rude and unfriendly, why work in a service tole if you clearly don't like helping customers. I won't bother trying here again, there are so many better places nearby where the welcome is friendly

First visit to NA since before the pandemic. It’s just as good and just as good value. Hats off to then in particular for not inflating the prices on the wine list as other places have done.
