Norfolk Arms Hotel Restaurant in Sheffield

He estado en el Norfolk Arms un par de veces para las reuniones de BMC Peak Área cuando solían celebrarse aquí y parar en paseos / paseos en bicicleta de montaña y siempre me pareció un buen pub para parar a tomar una cerveza, o una cerveza como parte de un pequeño grupo. El domingo pasado reservé para mí y otros 24 colegas para almorzar en el punto medio de un paseo. El personal era servicial y educado al organizar la reserva y tomar nuestra reserva de comida. La comida era excelente y la cerveza "bien cuidada", también llegó a tiempo, los precios son sensatos para lo que se obtiene también. En resumen, si estás en la zona y quieres algo de comida, o una bebida, The Norfolk Arms es una gran opción!

Lea las críticas y decidió quedarse una noche ya que nuestro hijo estaba teniendo su graduación en Sheffield. La ubicación era agradable, buenas vistas al campo, y se le dio la habitación número 8. La recepción era amable, y se ofreció a llevar nuestro equipaje arriba a nuestra habitación. Entró en la habitación, y hacía mucho frío. Comprobé el único radiador en el salón y no estaba encendido. Llamó a recepción y el hombre se apoderó del encargado del mantenimiento y trató de que funcionara. Lo intentó por un tiempo, pero no pudo solucionar el problema, así que fue y nos consiguió 2 calentadores eléctricos portátiles. Esto parece funcionar mejor, pero la habitación estaba tomando mucho tiempo para calentar con el problema adicional de que había comenzado a nevar! Le dimos las gracias al hombre y se fue y no mucho después de que nuestra tetera no funcionaría! Hombre de recepción logró cambiarlo por uno más nuevo. Reservamos una mesa y tuvimos una cena y el personal del bar era muy agradable y amable. A la mañana siguiente, mi esposa quería lavarse el cabello ya que no había ducha sino un baño independiente con una manguera de ducha retráctil y cabezal. Después de enjuagarse el cabello, notó que el piso estaba muy húmedo pensando que accidentalmente había salpicado agua sobre el piso. Ella me pidió que echara un vistazo y me di cuenta de que la curva en U debajo de la bañera estaba goteando muy mal y tuve que poner todas las toallas para absorber el agua. Esto fue un problema, ya que yo no podía usar el baño, así que tuve que tener un baño en el fregadero. Esta habitación parecía tener un montón de problemas pasando así que cuando nos fuimos, le dijimos al hombre en recepción y el hombre de mantenimiento que estaba muy preocupado y no podía disculparse lo suficiente. El hombre en recepción se ofreció a hacer una habitación disponible para tomar una ducha, pero el tiempo estaba pasando y había nevado y tuvimos que estar en el centro de Sheffield a las 9 am. El encargado del mantenimiento se disculpó mucho y mencionó que tuvieron, tuvieron, un problema con el baño y el radiador recientemente. El hombre de mantenimiento se ofreció a ayudar a llevar nuestro equipaje a nuestro coche que estaba cubierto de nieve y ayudó a mi esposa a bajar las escaleras, ya que estaba muy helado. Una pena como lo que era una habitación muy bien amueblada tenía tantos problemas que dar la calificación de 2 estrellas era bastante generoso. Mirando hacia atrás deberíamos haber pedido otra habitación, aunque el hombre en recepción nunca nos preguntó si nos hubiera gustado otra. Una pena que el hotel está situado en el borde de un paisaje impresionante. Gracias al hombre de mantenimiento que fue muy servicial.

Me impresionó mucho el servicio en el Norfolk Arms hoy. El personal es educado y atento, en particular George, yendo más allá para proporcionar una maravillosa experiencia de comer, por ejemplo, una porción adicional de natillas para mi crumble de manzana!

El Norfolk Arms está situado en el corazón de Ringinglow Village. Es una bonita posada y hotel. El servicio era bueno y la comida era buena también, especialmente el pan de ajo con queso, que era espléndido. Sin embargo, la experiencia se echó a perder por las mesas al aire libre en la zona de bebidas, que eran tan endebles y baratos que se sacudieron violentamente cuando alguien se puso de pie y causó que mi pinta casi entera volcara! Las otras mesas no tenían este problema, eran las de plástico/gris metal sobre la hierba. Invertir en el mejor equipo para la experiencia del cliente es la mejor manera de garantizar revisiones de 5 estrellas, que la mía habría sido, si no fuera por el incidente de la mesa. Las vistas desde The Norfolk Arms eran magníficas y fue genial ver una actitud pro - efectivo en el bar. También es apta para perros, con agua y golosinas para perros disponibles.

Went for a birthday meal, the review of the food was that it was ok. Although our 7 year old thought the pizza tasted weird. The waitress gave me anxiety as she could not wait to get away from the table, had a 4 year old with us so had to ask for a teaspoon and was given a dessert spoon, I asked a second time for the teaspoon then 10 mins later I went to investigate apparently teaspoons needed to be washed !! Then I was told that it had come from housekeeping ....not sure why that,'s relevant. Then went to use the toilets to find only emergency lighting to fumble about in .......went in with high expectations, left with sadness in my heart.

Celebrating mums birthday,super Sunday lunch ,friendly helpful courteous staff and a very relaxed atmosphere. Fab location ! There's even a menu for dogs great idea ,FAB day

We went for a family lunchtime meal. The service was slow-although booked we waited almost an hour for our food. The food itself was not acceptible. The fish pies lacked fish. My sons chicken meal was the worse he ever had. The vegetables were not cooked properly and when replaced were not much better. Will not be going again.

Really disappointed with the food in general. Six of us ate and two had decent quality meals. Fish and chips and curry were good, but fish pies and veg and hunters chicken were poor. Good service and drink selection, so shame about the food.

Myself and a few friends stayed at the Norfolk Arms last weekend, and we enjoyed a lovely experience. We were staying in Sheffield due to attending the recent Arctic Monkeys gig, and the Norfolk Arms seemed to us to be a reasonably priced hotel not too far from the city centre. What a hidden gem! We arrived to check in at 1400 on the Saturday and were quickly greeted and attended to by a warm and friendly member of staff. To be fair, every member of staff we spoke to was friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, and cosy but spacious. The communal areas of the hotel are warm, well-decorated and comfortable spaces. We tried the food before heading out, and the quality and portion sizes were spot on! We tried the food a second time for breakfast the next day and this too was lovely. I'm a bit boring and mainly just drink Guinness, but there was also a wide range of beers on offer. We were told in advance that the hotel doors are locked at 0200, but that if we were to return later than this we could call by arrangement as a member of staff is always on site. As it was, we arrived back at around 0100, and the bar was still open and had a friendly buzz with other guests. My biggest regret about our stay is that we weren't there for longer. The hotel is in a lovely location, and I would love to return for a relaxed weekend with my dogs soon (the hotel is very dog friendly!) Thank you for a lovely stay, I hope to return soon.

After a wonderful day climbing in the peak me and 4 friends decided to have a meal and a few drinks at the Norfolk arms on the outskirts of sunny Sheffield having phoned prior to ask at what time last orders were for food (8pm). We arrived at approximately 7:15pm, ordered a round of drinks washed our hands and began looking at the menu. I was last to order food and in doing so was made to feel uncomfortable by who I assume was the bar manager I thought perhaps time had evaded me but on checking my phone it was 7:40pm. The following morning in passing the pub we decided to grab a coffee each , waited around 20 minutes for 3 cups which all came nuclear hot and with a very generous 3/4 of a pint of milk (did not drink ) .. the following morning on checking my bank statements i realised I had been charged twice for the “coffee” The irony of the volcanic dairy experience was a highlight. Food wasn’t bad 6/10 , the dog treats looked great.

Good service, good coffee and food but not enough comfy chairs /sofas for coffee and chats with friends as there used to be months ago which is a shame.

Stopped of here for lunch after walking to Surprise View and Stanage Edge. Warm welcome from staff. Very impressed with the menu and more impressed that a separate menu for those that are gluten intolerant. We ordered the chilli bowl, beef stew and fish and chips, and to follow a cheesecake and lemon drizzle sundae. Very nice surroundings, how i would imagine a village pub. Also do a menu for canines ...which is very novel Our thanks to Katie our server who looked after us brilliantly......and all on her first day in the job Would definitely return

Booked a table at this place. On arrival found that the table was a bit cramped for our party, and not very clean (sticky and ring marks). Was not enamoured of the menu, which did not include a Sunday roast option. A short list of starters was provided, none of which appealed to us. We therefore chose mains. After ordering and paying at the bar we waited nearly an hour for the food to arrive, and when it did it was over cooked and far from hot. We declined dessert and left. We will not be returning.

We booked here for Christmas lunch at 1 pm. Over 20 of us, mostly family. We were seated in a Tent - yes Tent . twenty of us at two tables with 60/70 other diners. It was very cold, no heating until a man appeared and tinkered with something which produced heat for 10 minutes and then went back to blowing cold air out. Most people kept their coats on . First time I've eaten Xmas lunch in a coat. First two courses came fairly quickly and then we had to wait over an hour for our main course. This arrived on a smallish plate, the food piled on it , clearly not big enough for a main course and was luke warm. After this course we had had enough of the Tent and went into the Bar area. As did all the other diners in the Tent. Some time later we went back to an adjacent dining room ( not the Tent ) for our puddings, Coffee and mince pies. The meal was scheduled to start at 1 pm. We were still there at 5 pm just after our coffee before departing. Staff were very good - no criticism of them. decor was good. Given the cost of £ 70 , the experience was very disappointing and we felt very let down given we were all looking forward to a good family get - together.# Not a good result all round

Came here yesterday with friends for late lunch after a walk. We arrived at 3:30pm and were told that inside was full so we would have to sit outside which was absolutely fine for us. The food was moderately priced but fairly average in taste - the chips were luke warm and not very flavoursome. Staff, however, are really friendly and deserve a mention.

We visited for a few drinks and some food. We rang beforehand and were told that outdoor seating is on a first-come first-served basis. By the time we arrived it was already busy but there was space and a few outdoor seats to choose from. It was a Friday around 5:30 pm and the sun was out so that's to be expected. It was our first visit and was very well organised. There's a reception area by the entrance for track and trace and to direct you to a free table. They've really gone to town with the outdoor seating. There's seats out front if you want to watch the cars and bikes. Out back there's a huge seating area providing scenic views back across the countryside to Sheffield. We didn't have a great deal to eat but what we had was well cooked and went down very well. All in all it is somewhere we'll definitely visit again.

The location is great and it gets a lot of passing trade on weekends. It’s nice that they now have lots of tables outside with good views to the rear. They did a good job under the circumstances when I last visited as it was very busy. The reason for the 3 star review was the menu, I couldn’t really find anything I wanted to eat but choose the 8oz burger in the end. It was just very underwhelming but I enjoyed the experience overall.

Over priced food just warm frozen vegetables and to make it worse packed roast beef lovely place poor food

Essendo a meta strada tra Sheffield e Manchestermi sono fermato in questo Hotel nel centro del Peak District. Situato in una zona che idealmente rappresenta l'inghilterra, molto verde e molto ventosa. Le camere sono pulite e spaziose cosi come il bagno. Staff cordialissimo, ho cenato con birra "Ale" tipica di quelle zone, hamburger e sticky toffea pudding. Che dire tutto ottimo sono andato a letto contento. La mattina ho fatto colazione un po a buffet e per i caldi alla carta ma devo dire tutto molto veloce e buono. niente di complicato ma comunque buono. ce wi fi quasi in tutta la struttura. il bar è come il tipico pub o taverna di passaggio,dove si puo sorseggiare una buona birra e una jacket potato su un divano. consigliato anche per chi vuole correre fuori dalla struttura. C'è un paesaggio surreale.
