Nook and Harbour in North Somerset

Location ideal ... other side of the road from the sea Parking ok ... one space for each apartment I stayed In Apartment 2 which is on the Ground floor (Apartment 1 is in the basement) Quality exceptional ... I felt at home in a luxury way ... I stay at hotels all year long and this is place made me feel very comfortable Kitchen small ... but I do not go on holiday to cook !! Bedrooms big ... only issue here is that the room with two single beds in had the noisiest central heating boiler in it (but hidden) that made really weird noises all night

Really fantastic choice for Brunch. I had eggs benedict and it was really yummy. This is the place that is popular with the Lifeboat crew go for their brunch.

Realmente me gustó este hotel. La habitación tenía un montón de personalidad, una cómoda cama, una nevera, microondas, tv, hervidor, almacenamiento. Está justo al lado del paseo marítimo, que es una maravilla. Los directores del hotel eran absolutamente encantador y muy acogedor a mi perro era realmente razonable y limpia. Me volvería a reservar de nuevo? Claro que sí! !

Nos las arreglamos para conseguir una reserva tardía. Era muy feliz. Bee es genial. Cambió la habitación había reservado para una más grande. Ella es muy servicial, nada era demasiado problema. El CAC fue perfecto y muy bien prepaired para nosotros. Sin duda recomiendo

Tuvimos una estancia maravillosa aquí en el rincón y el puerto. Super ubicación para la playa, de la ciudad y paseos. Buenas vistas al mar.

This was a family weekend for three people with one settee where one peron had to sit on a dining chair in the evenings. Bathroom door would not close with no lock. 2 massive stair cases that were trouble for 2 in the party as pensioniers. We were awoke a 8 in the morning by unexpected levels of music that even with the windows shut it was like you having the radio on excessively high. As you can see from pictures unexceptable standardsfor high end hotel prices. On the plus side beds and towels were clean and great views.

Staying here at the moment booked while eating lunch in a pub so didn't know what to expect but it is clean and comfortable only wanted to put our heads down bee the owner is very helpfull n jolly basic accommodation but suitable this is not a restaurant but a self catering apartments

Although we only stayed one night on the spur of the moment the Nook and Harbour apartments was a brilliant find. The owner was very polite and friendly the place was spotlessly clean and perfect location. We were with our Daughter and Son in law and two small grandchildren and found the 2 bedroom apartment and was very comfortable. We will all visit again and recommend it to our families and friends.

We stayed as a family for two nights in this apartment. Although the owner was very helpful, the one bedroomed apartment was cramped and had seen better days. There were cigarette burns in the carpet and the chairs around the table were stained. There had been a leak in the roof outside the apartment, so the landing was wet and the laminate floor in our apartment seemed to have water damage and was badly fitted. The apartment was at the back, so there was no view of the seafront either. Overall disappointed for the price we paid.

This holiday was a joke! Reasons being: Rooms weren't clean Stain on pillow Wooden spoon under the bed Mattress wet Toilet unclean Toilet blocked Toilet brush stuck inside the holder Flies on the toilet brush Not enough plates, bowls and cutlery Ants in the lounge Owner was rude and deceitful Can hear every footstep of the floor above On the plus side however it was in a good location, the price was reasonable (but a lot more than last time) and it now has a decent wifi.

We had a one bedroom apartment with fantastic sea views. We could sit in bed and look at the sea! Spotlessly clean, your own parking space and literally 5 mins walk into town and the pier. We will def be back next year, what a great find!!

I found this a little while back and was apprehensive given the reviews but it was lovely. just perfect for three people. when we arrived we had an allocated parking spot (appreciated given the sea front parking in weston) we called the number on the door because the manager rushed off her feet and she was with us in minutes. we payed the £20 charge for the dog, were given our keys, had a little induction to the facilities and were left to it. the manager Bee is a lovely woman very helpful. the apartment was spacious and had everything for three people. the view was lovely the dog especially appreciated looking out the window at the passers by. its in great walking distance to the town and pier just less than five minutes. there's plenty of supermarkets, shops, restaurants, take away's and pubs near by including a charming italian restaurant right next door. apartment three has a double and a single bed, small toilet sink and shower, a kitchenette with a cooker, microwave, pots and pans, all utensils to cook with, kettle and a toaster. the living area has a dvd player and a decent sized TV a couch for two people and a dining table for three. everything is just what you need no more no less thanks for the lovely weekend we will definitely see you again soon

The food was excellent, and we had visited on the Friday and Saturday that weekend (we are locals). When i went to pay on the Saturday i remarked to the Son that we had been the night before, he replied, "yeah i thought so". Where is the front of house welcome to encourage us to return? Come on, you are almost there!

We went there three times in our week long break as they had very reasonable food and drink prices, a light and airy interior, and a good choice of meals, even for young children. Nice sea front location added to its positives. No where is perfect and it is no use nit-picking minor things that are more personal opinion rather than a real negative. We enjoyed it and found it the best eatery in the town.

The Nook and Harbour really does live up to expectations. You can have a choice of English or Greek food, All Day Breakfast, or just old Fish and Chips, On Sunday's you can have a Carvery which is very reasonably priced and cooked to Perfection.Great service and Pleasant staff. Eat inside or Outside on the Terrace or even Take Away. Waiting time kept to a minimum so your meals are always Hot. I go to Weston around twice a year and always give The Nook a visit.Recommend anyone to eat here and enjoy.

We made our annual New Years Day trip to Weston and, as usual, had lunch at the Nook & Harbour restaurant. We have been there a number of times and seen improvements each time we have visited. Today we had an excellent cod & chips lunch. Both fish and chips were excellently cooked - not greasy. The fish was superb, not too much batter and the whole meal was very well presented.The staff were very pleasant and friendly. We would certainly recommend this restaurant based on our experience today.

Okay so we checked out the menu of this restaurant before we went inside and it sounded okay.We chose to sit at an inside window seat. We were asked if we would like the menu or drinks and advised the waiter that we would like the menu. What then arrived was a sheet of paper with a choice of approximately 12 low budget main courses which beared no comparison to the menu displayed outside. When the waiter was asked the reason for this he advised that the restaurant was having a major revamp and was being filmed for a new TV show before a new refit and menu re-launch in the new year. At this point we should have left and gone somewhere else for a Christmas Eve lunch with a better and more extensive choice of menu but decided to stay and try what little they had to offer, all of it being basic fare. Ordered were Chilli with Rice and garlic bread, Liver Onions and Mash two veg with this meal were also requested and Carrots and sprouts were offered plus Bangers and mash with onion gravy. Once ordered the serviettes and cutlery arrived at exactly the smae time that the sun decided to make an appearence shining directly on the table and the cutlery. This showed on examination that two out of the three cutting end of the knives were covered in finger prints, no problem we picked them up and wiped them off with the serviettes. The meals arrivedwithout going into to much detail we were all disappointed the rice with the chilli was very dry and lacked any moisture and the garlic bread had only be baked on one side and looked very pale and unappetising on the other. The liver was tough and sprouts must have touched boiled water for no more than two minutes and were unedible. The bangers and mash were all mash and accompanied by three small bangers which has bursted from there skins. All in all we were very dissapointed with the way it had been cooked and presented. I understand that this restaurant had recently been leased from the original owners and my concern is even with T.V coverage, a new menu, a revamp and a new year re-launch, if you cant cook three basic meals appropriately from a choice of 12 then its a good time to start worrying about the future before its even taken off. Ohh and one more thing when your sat at a table the first thing you tend to notice is the tidiness of the waiter on this occassion is trousers were badly covered in dried stains. Maybe clean clothes should be included as part of the revamp

Whether it's a Sunday carvery, superb takeaways or dining on the front terrace, this restaurant is top notch.As semi permanent residents of Weston, we don't use the rooms, but the restaurant is superb.Just opened this week is a disco bar in the basement - the spitting image of any good 'costa' night club. Great stuff guys, keep up the good work!
