On a street full of wonderful cafes, one to be avoided. Seats are uncomfortable, coffee is bitter, I spent a while trying to work out whether it was the milk or the coffee that was off in my drink. I had banana pancakes, they were pretty hard and they say they come with compote and coconut yogurt, which they do, but there is also an overpowering sweet syrup drowning everything and drowning out those flavours. You might like it if you have an extremely sweet tooth. I also heard other people ordering and the juices are not made freshly, they are all premade. They charge more for oat milk in coffee despite it not saying that on the menu.

Why no children’s menu and portions?, slow service on a quiet day, food was OK but tables uncleared and not cleaned.

Sadly a few items were missing from the menu when visited. The tofu poke bowl was nice enough though weirdly arrived a while before my coffee. Staff are great.

Beautiful food… Vegan potato rosti and banana pancakes were absolutely delicious 😋

The food portions are embarrassingly small, it's served on a small plate and doesn't even fill it. I ordered the savoury pancake for £10 and got a single tiny pancake with barely any toppings. Absolutely shocking. Come on guys, for that price at least put an extra pancake. Things like this mean I'll never return.

£7 for a mighty #porridge with fresh raspberries, banana slices, almond flakes and coconut sprinkles. Decent #breakfast #tea in a cup. Shame there's no option for full pot of tea 🫖

I wanted to like this location, but it was quite lacking in overall. The food was good, although the portion sizes were small for the price. However, the matcha was a little disappointing; it tasted like nothing. Yet, desserts were better. Unfortunately, the furniture was really uncomfortable, and the tables are on wheels, so they are not at all stable.

Wonderful food and drinks, but the furniture was horribly uncomfortable and the tables are on wheels, so they aren't steady at all. You want to relax and enjoy the delicious food and drink, but the environment won't let you.

I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately it was quite lacking. The portion sizes were quite stingy for the price and the service was grumpy and meh. Food was also delivered to the table at very different times which seemed odd considering we visited during a quiet moment

Had the matcha and it was horribly bland. Listed as ceremonial matcha on the menu which was what intrigued me to order - but was definitely not whatever it’s supposed to taste like. Disappointing.

The menu here is amazing I could’ve picked any of the options! Food was great, tasted so fresh and nutritious (I had the sticky tofu bowl). The only thing I’d change is the interior - it gave off quite a cold vibe and the seating was uncomfortable - I would’ve stayed much longer had the interior been a bit more cosy with sofas etc!

[NO NUTRITIONAL INFO] The food isn’t particularly exceptional, but it’s acceptable. More importantly, what is the point of a “healthy food” place like this when they offer no nutritional information whatsoever. Nobody knows the calorie, protein, carb or fat content of anything they offer. I don’t expect this in a regular restaurant, but it’s paramount in a place like this and this one completely misses the mark. Health is about portion control and caloric balance, not fads and fake “super foods.” Offer nutritional information or miss out on the business of people who are actually trying to be healthy as opposed to trying to look healthy.

What a fantastic addition to North Street. On a street where there are many choices for food - Nook stands out. A wonderful menu offering so many delicious sounding options that it was hard to choose. I went for the banana bread breakfast bowl and it was the best breakfast I have had on North Street - delicious and filling. The staff are fabulous and the setting is relaxed. I'd recommend a visit and I will be back to try some of the other options.

Good vibes … apart from the staff. They’ve lost those good vibes somewhere along the way. Oh well, plenty more nice cafes to visit instead.

Nice place but I felt disappointed when I ordered ‘plain’ banana bread and it came covered in maple syrup. I have to manage my sugar intake so this was not a good option for me.

I can’t comment too much because I only had a Matcha , but that experience is enough for me to never come back . It’s a weirdly blend of chai flavour and syrup , it dose looks green tho :/ I can’t tell it’s matcha by the flavour and was told by the barista “yea it’s matcha” , in a I don’t know my tea way , which felt patronising . I hope you guy take a better approach by naming whatever blend you do , instead of making a white-wash fusion drink and calls it matcha (Reply)Hey thanks for the information, I checked out the product , now fully understand where the flavour comes from , coconut sugar and Ceylon cinnamon which is a blend .Honestly shows that Nook have no understanding of what’s in the product they have put out and zero respect for the culture .A modern twist is not a crime , cinnamon matcha latte dose exist and pretty popular but you telling me your surprised with what I said and failed differentiate macha to a distinct favour of cinnamon mix is very disappointing! No hate to Blendsmith at all , however this is what happens when you don’t put everything in all caps and suddenly people thinks this is what matcha should taste like :(

It was our first time going there. Ordered a smoothie bowl which is meant to have fruits, nuts and muesli. They had no muesli. And they still charged me £9 for a bowl of frozen berries possibly worth 50p and 1/4 of a banana if that and some sprinkles of desiccated coconut. Opportunistic and highly overpriced for what that is!

Had an açaí bowl and it was nice enough, lacking a lot of the traditional toppings ,but expected, as I can't imagine it'd be impossible to find traditional Amazonian fruits (no excuse for lack of strawberries tho). Anyway, I arrived in a self-called Aussie inspired cafe , staff look all very white and the atmosphere feels very sterile. Just found funny that for a cafe that identifies as a "Aussie" cafe, serves mainly Hawaiian and Brazilian dishes. Attention to the açaí bowl that is called "smoothie bowl" without any knowledge or mentioned that it's a Brazilian dish. Please don't go around replacing names of such a traditional dish of my country and so deeply attached to our culture. That's disrespectful and it's cultural appropriation. I guess, If you're looking for good açaí bowls, maybe wait till you're in London.

Located at the Eastern end of North Street, this cafe has brilliant, fresh poke bowls. I enjoyed the sashimi salmon. There are plenty of seats with power points making it a good location to work as well as to meet friends. The staff are friendly and there is a compact toilet.

I literally love coming here. The acai bowls are my favourite. My friend recently had the bang bang chicken bowl and said the flavours were amazing. Also the gingerbread chai is so wonderful. The staff at really helpful at recommendations if you're not sure what to have and has a really nice chilled vibe during the week. Much busier at weekend as its so popular.. and why shouldn't it be?!

Just lovely. Having lived in Aus for years (and soon to return) this was a little burst of joy! I had the banana bread on another visit and whilst the extras it came with were amazing, the bread itself wasn’t quite so good (I’ve not had gluten free bb before though so maybe it was that…) BUT it didn’t stop me returning - and I’m glad! The poke bowl was DELISH and coffee equally so. I’ll be back!

What a lovely addition to North Street. I had a breakfast of toasted banana bread. Delicious! My only criticism, although the decor looks great, the stools are not very comfy for long...there are cushions around...grab one of them! That said, this is set to become my new favourite cafe 💯❤️

Cool place, good flavours but the rice is fridge cold in the Poke bowl, which isn’t to my taste. (I’ve never actually had poke bowls with cold rice before, I’m guessing it’s the more authentic way and some people will love it). I think in uk winter I was just craving warm rice like Loki Poke do them 🥹 I don’t think I’ll be back for a poke bowl, but they have other lovely sounding stuff on the menu to try!
