Never knew this was here! Ambling back home, we popped by, sat outside, loads of tables. Realllllly cheap pub!! Just what we needed! Quiet on a sat night at 10 ish so we had free roam. The staff were really nice.

The bar staff are not friendly but cheap beer

Good atmosphere, nice staff and cheap drinks. Nice outdoor space at the front great for catching the sun

A good old-fashioned pub use again

1st time just nipping in after a gig. A mate had told me about it; both lived in Bristol all our lives and never been there until now. Awesome pub, friendly bar lass and locals don't appear to be lunatics. Will go back for a proper session soon.

Played skittles tonight at the ship inn great night ,barstaff very friendly , good prices and clean and tidy . Would visit again recommend for a drink very sociable

This is exactly the sort of place my missus would hate. And for that reason I'm giving it 5 stars. Earthy, full of geezers drinking, laughing, enjoying being blokes. Very friendly locals and great staff. My ship has come in.

Manager will ban you for leaving bad reviews, beware folks! Sadly lacks the emotional intelligence to comprehend difference in opinion.

It's interesting to see how it has changed over the years but is still a good pub to visit. Good to see that they have sorted the mens toilets out. Child friendly and dog friendly.

£3.60 for a kronenbourg and they have darts here too. Quite busy with locals but vibe is friendly and the prices are too good to miss. Worth a visit if near the station.

I've only recently discovered this pub, despite working 5 minutes' walk away for the last 3 years (although quite a bit of that was covid). A proper local pub, tucked away behind St Mary Redcliffe. Lots of good outside seating, sports screens inside and sensibly-priced beer.

A proper pub, loud music and customers, mens sit down toilet not working so they used the ladies...rowdy, yet friendly!

Very good landlady and staff all the locals are friendly, and a great view of the Redclife Church, which is opposite it, no traffic and the church is oozing with history
