Yummy udon noodles with sweet chilli stir fry 🤤

Nice greeting by the waitress… However the food was terrible Ordered chicken satays which were just cooked but definitely looked a little pink and tasted under cooked so left them. The Thai green curry was terrible it was like spicy flavoured water… However we found not one not two but 3 hairs in!! I called waitress who took it away didn’t apologise simply just removed the dish and walked away The other waitress then came back and advised it would not be charged.. I’d never eat here again to be honest as I’ve had a bad stomache this morning 100 % from the small amount I ate.

We chose this restaurant due to its gluten free menu options online but sadly these were not accurate and we were disappointed by this and our daughter had to change her choice of meal due to this. However the portion sizes were extremely generous and the staff attentive and friendly.

What a little gem this is . Delicious food,huge portions and a fair price. Even the drinks menu is fairly priced, compared to other places. Overall,a full belly and money well spent for lunch.

I have no words to describe my food experience at Noodles bar. Táli was an amazing person giving us the house best recommendations and the mandarin prawns was amazing, that sauce is superb 👌. Also, the roast duck combined wit glass Noodles was a perfect match. She was so friendly, always asking if everything was fine then we felt as home, we were spoiled and definitely I would recommend to everybody I Know. Thank you to all staff and specially to Táli. Had to wait slightly longer for takeaway than usual but it was super busy. It's clearly busy for a reason! The waitresses were very sweet and the food most importantly was 10/10. Hands down best Katsu red Thai curry around!

Portions were massive and the food was sooo delicious - we came here on holiday for 4 days and ended up eating here for dinner twice!

We loved this place! The staff is really friendly and the atmosphere is chill.😎 On top of that you get 30% off if you‘re a student. The noodles were really good but unfortunately the peanut sauce was a bit too sweet.

We went here a few years ago and the food did not really impress. Gave it another go two weeks ago.... OMG it was amazing food and we went back again on Wednesday. Big portions, great flavours , friendly staff and great atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Huge, almost sink basin sized bowls of food. I had to get a doggie bag to take home my left overs! It's very easy to choose your dish, select the type of noodle you want, then a sauce, then either a soup or a stir fry and lastly what meat or fish or tofu topping you want. Lovely friendly waitress.

Went here for an evening meal, whilst we were visiting Bournemouth. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We went with a two year old and they were able to accommodate for him. The restaurant itself was atmosphere and a nice informal setting. The food tasted lovely and fresh. The portion sizes are generous and great value for money. Would highly recommend a visit, and will be returning again when we return.

I had a pleasure to visit Noodle Bar Restaurant twice in my short Bournemouth city break last week. Why twice? As first was unforgettable . The dish of mixed see food in lime and chilli sauce with Japanese noodle was one of my Best Dish Ever and The Best of Asian cuisine!!! Rich of flavour, spice enough and portion like for two. Amazing experience!!! Thank you Chef!!! Very nice and polite stuff makes nice atmosphere. Totally recommend !!!

Visited for my Birthday on Monday. Initially was impressed by the food and atmosphere . However, the service wasn’t amazing. The waitress brought out the wrong starter and messed up a drinks order. But overall was enjoying the night. However shortly after leaving the restaurant my husband was experiencing horrible symptoms of food positioning . I called straight away the next day after his symptoms were for more than 24 hours, to warn the restaurant of possible food poisoning. I spoke to a waitress over the phone who had no experience of the protocol for food poisoning. She asked me to send the manager an email which I did straight away and I gave her my number for the restaurant to give me a call. She said it may take 24hrs- I’ve heard nothing. You’d think a busy restaurant would have some kind of urgency over possible food poisoning from their food. But nothing, so disappointing. Will not be visiting again, completely spoilt my Birthday

***NOW 10% SERVICE 6 PEOPLE*** Coming here regularly for the last 7 years and alway happy but our last visit we were 5 people and 2 friends joined the table for a quick drink when we were almost finished with our lunch. Surprisingly we were charge 10% of service for being a group of 6. Told the waiter that never being charged for that but she refused to be helpful. I bit unfair knowing that 90% of the time we were 5 people and 2 joined 10 minutes before leaving. They swapped the Diet Coke for an off brand and it tastes awful. Toilets are on need of improvement.

I love this restaurant because it’s student-friendly offering us very fair deals and they haven’t different offers for each weekday. The service is fast and friendly and the portion size is just as good as it’s quality in taste. I’ve been coming here for the last 2 years and will continue to do so, so long as nothing changes! 🔥🙌

What used to be a hands-down 5 star on all levels has progressively lowered its quality and now (imo); hit a new low... I've enjoyed Noodle Bar over the last few years as a great go-to with my partner from time to time and it was always amazing! Sadly, this is no longer the case. Some bits have slowly gotten worse/lesser quality, like swapping out Coca-Cola for an off brand offering at the same charge to customers. Which is fine in itself, businesses don't run on the goodwill of their own hearts of course and the cost of living has risen, these cuts are understandable and not a complaint. The food however has never been bad until tonight. Under fried katsu chicken with a soggy bottom (the coating basically slid off and wasn't a pleasant texture to eat) and overcooked thin-egg & ramen noodles for both dishes was a step too far - for the record, I love my ramen and have never left anything behind in the past visits here. I couldn't physically eat more than half and my partner barely a third before we called it quits feeling quite sorry for ourselves. Waited 35-minutes to be checked on after they served our food (it was busy, but never felt ignored with past service, even when busier) at which point we'd already given up with the food. Asked if everything was okay, to which I kindly replied it wasn't anywhere near as good as we have had many times before, the server disappeared, served a further two tables food & drinks (10 minutes approximately) to eventually return with our bill for £33.90 (no goodwill applied for bad quality food). Asked to speak with the supervisor that was already aware of our unsatisfactory meal, who then blamed us for not alerting the staff sooner to rectify the problem (why is it acceptable for you to serve poor-quality food) and that because we already had free starters (everyone gets this deal on a Thursday), they couldn't do anything more off the bill. So you get a free starter (on Thursday) per main regardless of a good or poor quality main - deal with it 😂 Clearly some form of hospitality training is required for staff on issues like these. Existing offers DO NOT excuse poorly cooked food and should be dealt with as a separate matter in itself. Service goes a long stretch for repeat and happy custom. Sadly, after a few good years, we'll never be returning to Noodle Bar for what was a fairly easy mistake to rectify... Businesses don't lose customers for a mistake, we're all human and mistakes happen sometimes; however, they do lose customers for their lack of willingness to fix it. I wasn't expecting (nor gave the inference of) a free meal (that would be ludicrous), I did expect our complaint to be handled better with the hopes of finding a mutually agreeable solution instead of the finger being pointed at us. If I'd served my own food both over & under cooked, I'd accept responsibility for it and own my mistake. Please don't blame your customers in the future 😞

The soup is 'extremely' hot. Like the centre of the sun hot. And the ribs are extremely hot, but this time spicy. I ended up mixing the onion with the broth to keep things manageable. Very nice katsu, and side salad.

Super delicious, huge portions with the ability to take away excess food, quick service with friendly staff and customisation. The prices are also reasonable! It's a good place to eat, on the odd occasion the food can be cool. Service is excellent, very attentive staff. The interior is sparse, to my liking, but one goes there for the good food!

If you have an allergy avoid at all costs. I have an allergy and made staff aware of both my allergies to egg and nuts as they are life threatening, as soon as I ate a small bit of it I started having an allergic reaction straight away. I informed the staff and all they were more worried about was giving me the menu to order something else. At the end when everyone else was paying there was no apology or check up to see how I was.

If you're craving for a bowl of a good noodle, stir fried or with broth ,visit this place. We ordered Ramen Noodle Tom Kha Pork Katsu , Stir fried Udon Chicken and Seafood Katsu and and it doesn't disappoint. All tastes great and comes in big servings...we hardly finish all. The staff are all welcoming, accommodating and always smiling....the cherry on top of the cake. We'll definitely be coming back again and it is highly recommended.

They should refund the entire order not just half after delivery takes more than 55 minutes, no quality in the food and cold food and if the manager knows that he has only one chef for so much work then don't take orders or hire another chef but don't do it waste time and give food in bad conditions just because of your greed.

Tips notch Ramen style noodles with plenty of choices and many different styles and options. Great friendly staff and even offered a take away box because there were so much left overs from the massive portion sizes. Have not had as good ramen noodles as this since visiting Japan. Highly recommended!

I used to adore this place. However, when I went there last night for a date night, I found a large piece of plastic floating in my drink. I am disappointed to see that the standards have dropped.

I am very disappointed with the service we were given. Me and my partner have been on several occasions to the noodle bar and decried to go out for dinner last night. On arrival after a few minutes waiting by the door, a lady came over to us and asked if we had a booking. As soon as we said no she mumbled ‘we’re fully booked’ and turned us away. The lady seemed rude and gave my partner an unpleasant look. I was confused as the place looked half empty so when I got back to my car I decided to ring them and see if I could make a booking. The same lady answered and said ‘yes we have a table available now for you’. As soon as I said ‘hang on we just came in to try and get a table and were told you were FULLY BOOKED’ the lady paused and stuttered. She then tried to say they had just had a cancellation, but it was clear she was lying after the panic in her voice. All we are trying to do at the end of the day is give a company some business and receive rude service. It seems the staff just couldn’t be bothered to service us so turned us away. Won’t be returning.

Ordered for delivery, which came quick. However half way through my pulled pork noodles I hit something hard with my fork. I thought it was glass but after some digging found a small rock. My partner rang the restaurant who repeatedly kept asking our name and order number then eventually told us our order is on the way with the driver. We repeated we already had it but found a stone. They did not seem to understand and told us to write a complaint on the website which there is no option for? My partners tofu was dry and overcooked, with very little sauce. Such a shame we usually love this restaurant but don’t think we will be ordering again.

Food was very good indeed. Staff very helpful. Dining area is spacious and contemporary. Toilets need a desperate upgrade. Overall good experience. An update.. I've been back three more times. On two of those occasions in cold weather.. The outside door dosen't close properly allowing cold air in the the restaurant. The inner door is insufficient to stop there being drafts of cold air.. Needs fixing.. Can't see me returning whenever it's cold..

Placed our order! It was very late being delivered and on arrival found it was totally the wrong order!! Missing every part of our delivery apart from the spring rolls. So tried calling and no answer for the last hour!! They owe us for our order but unable to get a refund!! Who runs a business like this? DO NOT ORDER YOUR FOOD FROM HERE!!!!!

Food was delicious and there was something on the menu for all of us. Portion size was absolutely huge so struggled to finish but we were all offered takeaway boxes at the end which was great. Menu is well marked for vegan & gluten free options. Only deducted a star as unfortunately the lady serving us came off as rude and abrupt. She looked fed up and bored. Tried to rush us at the start to take our order and seemed annoyed that we weren't ready when we had literally just sat down and 3 of us went straight to the loo first so hadn't even had a chance to look at the menu's yet. We asked for more time to look at the menu's first and she still asked us for drink orders when we had just said we haven't been able to look at the menu's yet, and stood there looking annoyed as she waited for all of us to decide on drinks. She could have just left us for a few minutes to decide as we had already asked. As someone who has worked in hospitality, I understand everyone can have bad days but the attitude just seemed unnecessary. A shame as the other two ladies also serving were extremely lovely, smiley and friendly!

First time visiting here for a birthday lunch. Didn't disappoint at all. Welcomed as soon as we went in the door, we were first in so it was empty. It soon filled up. Spacious and modern, warm and welcoming. Happy, positive vibes from every member of staff. Good seating and table height. Food was cooked fresh in open kitchen and it was absolutely banging!... delicious. Best Asian food I've had in Bournemouth since eating in Asia a few years ago. Staff didn't rush us at all, it was lovely that they visited our table throughout the meal to check everything was okay. AMAZING and fair prices. Had to put two half meals in a doggy bag because we couldn't finish it after the small shared starter. Plastic containers supplied with a smile. I highly recommend visiting this family friendly place if you're in the town centre. Well definitely be back or ordering on line. Thanks for making us welcome team Noodles!

Best noodles I have ever had. Have you any plans to expand up north? Large portions and superb flavours. We took some away with us which did for lunch the following day. We hadn't booked, as had just arrived in Bournemouth, but they happily accommodated us with only a half hour wait.

Decent food, a simple formula that does the job

Brilliant place to eat, great food and friendly staff. Offered takeaway boxes for any food not eaten which I like. Except for us it seemed to be mostly young people eating there.

We booked a table at 7pm. We arrived in time. There is no place to sit. They asked us to wait by the interanc door. After 20 minutes standing and waiting, we had to leave and go somewhere else. Very unprofessional.

Ordered a late evening dinner from here via deliveroo - Branded as the “Katsu Curry Bar” (different name, same address) Had a salt & pepper chicken, it was ghastly - what arrived in a nice box appeared to be a dried up sliced processed, low quality chicken burger (in breadcrumbs). With a largely raw onion and chopped red chilli sauce (with hardly any sauce but a lot of onion) and what appeared to be a portion of McDonald’s fries (cold) thrown in with it. Despite not having eaten all day after 2 bits I threw it in the bin. An order of sweet potato fries was fairly tasty and the satay sauce was very good, but the while delivery was cold. I would never order here again, I don’t understand how they managed to get 5 star reviews as a noodle bar, I must have picked their worst dish or something. Very disappointing.

Huge portion, had to pack it home. Good quality meal. Should have requested to remove bean sprouts though. There were a lot in my noodles, which was a bit annoying but it was my fault of not requesting to avoid it when I ordered. They also offer student discount without having to ask for it.

Visited here a couple of weeks ago on a Friday and couldn't fault the food it was great but came again yesterday on a Wednesday and food was not up to scratch , not hot ,duck not crispy , soup not as tasty , less veg in soup it was as if we'd visited a different restaurant, I'm guessing it's an inferior chef due to it being a 20% offer day or possibly even a trainee chef all meals were of a lesser quality so my advice is don't visit on a Wednesday

Visited for lunch today not been for quite a while and was hoping it would be as good as it used to be and it was even better !!! Wonderful flavours piping hot and big portions , super fast and friendly service the staff really make it a place you want to go back to , definitely won’t be leaving it so long next time

Huge portion sizes for a fairly cheap price - less than £15. Has lots of customisation options to choose from for every part of the meal. Service was very efficient despite being busy. Only drawback was that the toilets were not very clean and quite dated. Other than that a positive experience and would recommend.

The place is cute and the service was good. I ordered the soup with roast duck and uddon noodles, it was AMAZING!!! The portions are big for the soup and the noodles so if you don't eat much you can share it, the curries were a regular portion. Loved it! Will definitively go back.
