Fabulous food and very attentive staff, who went out of their way to make my parents 59th Wedding Anniversary extra special x Thank you all so much

Booked for a hen do for them to double book. Discussed with the woman about food. Told them we were going to bring a singer, she said this was okay if we double checked he was PAT tested which I confirmed with them. She confirmed she had written in the diary. We rang up to discuss arrangements after them ignoring our Instagram messages and were told it wasn’t in the diary! Very disappointing! I’ve had multiple phone calls with them about this hen do so it was clearly in their diary

Visited with a friend for lunch . Booked beforehand and had to leave a £10 deposit . We were seated right next to the coffee machine , on the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat on in a cafe . The women next to us agreed and were provided with cushions …..just get new chairs !!!! The noise from the coffee machine was awful and meant that my friend and I had to keep stopping talking , it was ridiculous. I ordered pea and ham soup ….which arrived tepid so I had to ask for it to be heated up , which took 15 minutes. My friend had a BLT , which was poor , with bacon so dried up , it was inedible. I know people rave about this place but I was so disappointed by my experience, there are far better cafes now in the area . And the parking is terrible!!!

Visited today for an afternoon tea. The place is beautifully decorated and staff were pleasant and attentive, especially the older lady ( sorry hope you’re not offended, I didn’t get your name ) The afternoon tea was plentiful and well presented and decently priced. Place was packed so would recommend booking to avoid disappointment.

Went new-year eve with friends and family it was fantastic good food brilliant atmosphere jo and her staff were very welcoming and made sure everyone was well looked after entertainment was great
