Had pasta arrabbiata here, and a bottle of red wine, and it was great - can’t fault it. Really friendly staff - would recommend, and would come again. I was here for a pre- Piece Hall meal and drink, and will be happy to come again if I’m seeing anything at the Piece Hall.in future. Thanks guys!

Lovely attentive staff, well worth a visit and will def be returning to sample more.

First time for me, but granddaughter been several times, it was her choice. It was quiet when we came as it was before 12.00, nice greeting from staff, nice menu, we both had pizza but different toppings, delicious and plenty of it, we had to ask for a box to take home what we couldn't eat, very accomadating. My granddaughter had a hot chocolate to finish, my goodnes, it was full of all sorts, marshmallows, chocolate chunks, cream, and of course chocolate to drink. It was a cool day, there are blankets to wrap around yourself and the lit the calor gas fire around 12. I would go again but we will try afternoon tea, a neighbouring table had it, it looked scrumptious, highly reccomend.

Noco’s was recommended to me many years ago as selling the ‘best coffee in Halifax’, but at the time they didn’t offer plant based milk. Perhaps the milk wasn’t a barista version (which makes all the difference) but the quality of the coffee itself was very poor and tasteless. I have to say that it was the worst tasting coffee I’ve had in Calderdale!

After been told we would have to wait 45 minutes for food, we decided that was OK as we're in no rush. we ordered a pizza and a panini. drinks were a glass of wine, water with ice and a coffee. the drinks turned up minus the water, and despite several attempts to attract attention we waited 30 mins for the water. at no time did anyone ask if we wanted more drinks. After 1 hour of waiting for food, my wife asked if it would be any longer. they answered that they didn't have an order! we paid for our drinks and left. I'm told the food here is good but I will never know!

Went to noco today, the food was poor and so was the service. I have been before and loved it however this time we went the food took a while and when it did arrive it was luke warm at best, sent it back for it to come back slightly warmer but still not hot. Hungry at this point so i just ate it. We also ordered truffle fries for £4.95, what a rip off!!! just normal fries nothing fancy about them. Disappointing experience and won’t be returning.

I was extremely disappointed with my most recent visit. The lady informed us it would be a 30 minute wait and then took immediate payment which would have been fine, but we waited well over an hour and a half. When our food finally arrived, the pizza was unbelievably burnt. So much so, that the chef had sliced the most burnt part of the pizza off, and discarded it before serving it to us (we had the top of the pizza missing!). Under normal circumstances, I would have sent the food back however, after waiting for so long (and our parking being nearly up) we did not have time to raise our issues. I later tried to contact Noco Kiosk and they have not responded. I will not be returning. Staff are rude and my black pizza had the top sliced off… I have never known anything like it! Did they think we wouldn’t notice a quarter of the pizza being missing and the 3 quarters we were served was inedible. Go to La Luna instead!

Sat down at 1pm. Ordered at 1:05 and was told I’d have to pay upfront. Once I’d paid, I was told there was a 25 minute wait. I wasn’t pleased, but decided to put up with it. After 30 minutes we asked where our food was and were told it would be another 10 minutes! Eventually, after several complaints, our food arrived 50 minutes late!! Absolutely ridiculous!! Clearly, they don’t have a big enough kitchen to serve the number of tables they put out. Despite our complaints, we were never offered bread or water, or a complimentary drink. Do not go here, unless you have nothing to do with your day! After the 50 minute wait, the food was okay - average. Certainly not worth a 50 minute wait. Avoid!

Very disappointed with the service. Went with a family member and was waiting for menu's for around 10 minutes and then to be served a further 20 minutes. Very short staffed and food was no where near as good as any other of our previous visits. We both got pizza for mains, the dough was very thick and burnt around the edges. In previous visits I would have given Nocos a 5 star reviewing but after our last visit unless service improves and the thickness of the pizzas improves we will be reluctant to visit again.

Called in with a friend who chose an omelette. I had a Ham/Cheese Panini. Panini bread was dry and tough with overcooked ham and little cheese. I asked for Mayonnaise to add moisture but this made little difference. I had two mouthfuls and left it. Having already paid nearly £18 for two drinks and the food, I was not offered an alternative or any kind of refund. I won't be eating here again! On a plus point, the coffee was nice!

I love this little kiosk. It has a very authentic feel and the staff are always, always polite and give great service. I have eaten here quite a lot over the years, and it’s always top notch. I recommend the pizzas and the pasta if you’re dining at Noco. If you’re looking for amazing Italian cuisine and don’t mind sitting outside, this is your place; it doesn’t get much better than this for pizza and pasta. They also do crazy hot chocolate with ALL the trimmings! Coffee is also spot on every time. Macchiato is my fave to order here, but I’ve tried their latte, cappuccino and Americano also, and everything has been great. It’s Halifax’s hidden gem. In terms of COVID19 safety, the tables are all distanced, and each have their own hand sanitiser.

Went here with a friend midweek just after lunchtime so it was fairly quiet. My friend had seen a post on Instagram and thought it looked nice, they didn't have the brunch menu on when we went but my friend showed them the picture of what we saw online and they made it for us, which was nice. They advised us it would take a little longer, about 20 minutes which we thought was a reasonable time scale. Food and hot chocolate were beautifully presented and tasted nice. Good thin crust pizzas, creamy pasta etc. It isn't the cheapest place but it seemed reasonable for home made food, that you can watch them make, which I thought was nice. £26 for the brunch for 2 with a special hot chocolate and a bottle of water. We were both full after, although It doesn't look like you get loads. It is sheltered but also kind of outside/inside, they provide you with a heater if you want and they have throws on some of the chairs which in my opinion make it quite a cosy place.

Pizza was outstanding as usual and milkshakes delicious. My youngest adored his freakshake. Loved the little touch of how they stopped us ordering and paying for a water for our young son and advised us to help ourselves to the fruit water available from the little tanks. They also turned an extra heater towards us when it was not in use. One of our favourite places and we will be back soon. We arrived and although we were seen to immediately we asked for a few minutes to decide what we wanted and they never came back. There were two waitresses wiping down cutlery and at one point having a chat whilst we were waiting to order and the people next to us were waiting for the bill. I’d have been understanding if they were busy but we arrived just after lunch service, everyone had food/drink and two people were waiting for takeaway, there really was no excuse for it. We just got up and left and went to Elder in the Piece Hall.

Been to Noco a few times but never had such a shocking service as today. Quite busy so not many tables. Managed to find out which hadn't been cleared. Sat down and waited 10 minutes before anyone came over to take our order. Ordered 3 drinks and 3 pizzas plus some mozzarella sticks. After another 15 mins and not seeing sight of drinks, i chased the waitress who said they were coming. Still had all the previous people's dirty plates and glasses on our table still. Finally she started to clear the table but kept coming back in dribs and drabs not clearing it all at once. Finally our drinks arrived....warm can of pop with a tiny glass with 2 ice cubes. Drinking warm pop is not nice! Anyways we sat waiting for a further 30 mins and again had to chase our food. It was clear they hadnt even started our order and the waitress said they were starting it now and it would be 10 mins. We decided to wait because we were all starving!!! Eventually the pizzas arrived with my side dish of mozzarella sticks....although what I had been given were NOT mozzarella sticks at all. When the waitress came back with the final pizza 5 mins after the other 2 were brought to the table I told her that they were not mozzerella sticks and was told "yes they are". I said they are definitely not and to take them away. She came back 5 mins later to say I was right and that they were actually polenta chips!!!! 5 mins after that correct mozzerella sticks brought to the table. Enjoyed the food. Pizzas are nice but really not worth the wait time or the shoddy service from the staff. The staff seem to not have a clue what's going on half the time and are all running around doing nothing. Once finished we asked for the bill. Again another wait for this and got brought a piece of paper with just a figure written on it. I asked where the breakdown of the meal was as I wanted to check the final price. She said she didn't have one and that this was the price. I asked how much the drinks were and she didn't know. Find this really odd to not give the customer a breakdown of cost to check. We complained about the service and got a £6 discount but that would not make me come back again. I find the place disorganised and chaotic and the staff need to seriously work on the service.

We arrived and sat seeing it was table service, after waiting to be served I grabbed the attention of the server. She took our order, we ordered drinks and food. There appeared to be a bit of chaotic activity going on, the man in the kios was flustered and stressed. After waiting for a good while we realised and overhead the chef had been called away on an emergency. so we sat patiently waiting. The young girl serving seemed to be either new or not knowing what to do was constantly told off for "getting it wrong". The chaos continued, and we waited some more we were now nearing an hour, we received our drinks, we did have time to wait fortunately. They were average, the freak shakes in my opinion a tad over priced. We then waited for another hour for the pizza we had ordered, watching and listening to the chaos. The chef returned and many finally got their orders except us. I approached the kios and they began to prepare our bill before I spoke, I said no I'm enquiring we ordered a pizza. Oh yes they said we can make it now it will take around 10-15 mins we could wait so again sat patiently. When it arrived it was soggy in the middle so I again went up to the Kios, stating it was soggy for the chef to stand arguing with me no it is not that's the cheese and so and so forth, folding the pizza and prodding the base "see its cooked" I asked him not to argue with me and in my opinion it was soggy. He continued and said you need to stop being aggressive, and this stage I walked away. No bill paid, leaving the chaos. Having sat for 2 hours waiting and being patient, giving them the benefit of the emergency the chef had been called too to be told my food was not soggy and prodded Im not sure I would return.

Visited today for a birthday lunch and was very disappointed with the service. On arrival we waited 10 minutes and had to ask someone to take our order, we were told that there was just one girl taking orders and she would be with us shortly. When she arrived we asked what was in one of the pasta dishes on the specials board, she didn't know and asked us if she should go and ask! Food and drinks ordered the long wait began. Our four different drinks arrived and were literally just plonked on the table with no communication and left for us to distribute! Drinks were all consumed and still no food, other diners were questioning how long food would be and the waitress replied that she didn't know! After an hour we gave up, take away orders were given priority and the kitchen although having plenty of staff clearly couldn't cope with the orders. I requested to pay my drinks bill and cancelled our food order and complained about the service, there was not a hint of an apology, the pizza chef just chastised the waitress by saying, ' this is what happens when you don't tell people that there will be a delay with food'!!! As a customer we were patient and we were very disappointed that we were not offered an apology. It's a shame because the food looked good, but the place is just severely lacking in customer service and organisation.

Stumbled across this little place by accident, and what a find it was! If only the Halifax climate could justify an outdoor kiosk - I was kept warm by blankets and a heater, but the cold wind still blew from the streets. Aside from that, the milkshakes are INCREDIBLE here. The pizza and ciabatta are faultless. You really will not find any better Italian in Calderdale for the price. The ingredients are of a high quailty and the service is superb. I now make a special visit to Halifax just to feast on the menu here. It really is that good. The staff were very friendly and it was nice to see little homemade Italian pastries on sale. We both had a big fancy hot chocolate and a margarita pizza to share, the pizza was one of the best I have had for a very long time. It was perfectly rolled to the right thickness and the toppings were fresh and good quality, you could tell by the passion of the young man working there as he talked about food it was going to be nothing but quality. I would love to see this place grow to a premises with indoor seating or maybe just the introduction of heat lamps as the odd pigeon did join us and it was chilly even with the use of your very well thought of blankets.

OK, let's be honest, it's a kiosk in a small shopping arcade... ...but the quality of the food coming out of the "kitchen" is right up there with the restaurants. Ticks all the boxes for presentation, quality and service. Very authentic, and it's like being transported to Sicily. Very welcoming owner/manager(?), and you don't really expect real buffalo mozzarella in your basic panini, but that's what you get! And a handful of crisps with a balsamic drizzle, served on a board. The glass of rose was just right, pale, dry-ish, and very refreshing, as it should be, and I followed up with a great espresso and very authentic cannoli (much smaller than its Sicilian cousins, but very tasty!). The pizza and pasta dishes on other tables looked great, and the ice cream sundaes and milkshakes.... Anyway, just give it a go 'cos it's worth it!

Needs to blow its own trumpet, was a pleasure dining here, from the exceptional welcome,to watching the young chef prepare the food, with a passion and gusto, I would recommend you visit this restaurant, and transport yourself to sitting by the canals of Venice, the food is excellent.
