Recently enjoyed a delicious breakfast here with a fantastic coffee too, the guys here are great, can't wait to return 👍

We visit here regularly. The location is fantastic, being right near the front at Perranporth. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the food is outstanding, cooked with great care and presented well. Highly recommend

Really helpful and polite service. The food looked beautiful and tasted amazing. We all really enjoyed our meals. Very good portion sizes but still beautifully presented.

Second year in row we booked in and again it didn't disappointment. Really friendly staff. Great selection on the menu. Fantastic specials and plenty of fish options. Mussels went down a treat as did the fish and chips. A large group of kids and adults (14 of us). Everyone easily accommodated. Highly recommend. We'll be back on our next visit to Perran.

We had the pleasure of dining twice at No.4 during our 10 day stay in Perranporth. Perfect location just off Beach Road. Firstly, a breakfast - couldn't fault it, I enjoyed the full English which was as good a breakfast as I've eaten anywhere, ever. (Kids loved the pancakes!) Then, our dinner reservation, as we enjoyed sirloin steaks and the spicy chicken shawarma wrap. Out of this world. Very friendly staff, keeping a busy place ticking over. (Perhaps expect to wait for your food, but it's worth it!) (If I had to pick fault, it would be the calamari, which was OK.)

Bought 2x fish and chips. I felt ripped off as I got 2 half fishes. I told 2 staff. 1 said laughing it's filling. The other staff member just laughed. I didn't think it was funny paying over £17 each. Maybe you need to take customer feed back seriously. It was my wife's birthday too. Nothing special offered. This is an honest review. The fish and chips are bigger on the streets. Thank you for laughing at me staff.

What a lovely meal again food ans staff all very good excellent only downside was party with small children on to different tables one may have been a party they still have to eat, but we were half way through our meal before they came in, children seemed to squeal so much now and parents just let them at times. We will be back again because food and staff are great.

Highly recommend...excellent food, coffee, service, priced for the quality, superb location next to Perranporth beach, large car park opposite and overflow up the hill. Last night in Cornwall and by far the best place we have found to eat during our stay. We like to try new places each year but this one we will be visiting again next year. We ordered the kids fish and chips with onion rings on the side, adult fish and chips, bbq ribs and pork belly, all our meals were 11/10. The prices matched the quality of the meals, drinks and service. Such a shame it is our last night here. Make sure to book in advance as we came on a whim the night before and couldn't get seated. Thanks No.4 for a lovely last evening.

Delicious food, friendly staff, little nice place next to the park, 3 tables outside. Cream tea, moules marinieres, fish and chips, Sunday lunch roast, lobster are some of the positions in the menu. Across the road from the car park by the beach. Sadly no sea view. Wheelchair access, everything on ground floor, not sure about the toilet.

Fantastic breakfast options. I had gluten free and my husband had a vegan breakfast. Both were delicious and great portion sizes. Lovely friendly, helpful staff 😀

We had the loveliest Long weekend away in Cornwall last week. We were told by a friend to try No4 in Perranporth which was just a short drive away from where we were staying. We went for Breakfast and for Evening food and both times we were pleasantly surprised! I could have eaten my pancakes 3 times over, they were so light and fluffy and just all round delicious! The perfect amount of Strawberries and Clotted Cream 😍 Accompanied with an Iced Coffee with a Chocolate orange syrup... Talk about sugar overload! But I loved every minute of it! 😂 My boyfriend had the Eggs Benedict which he said were really nice but it was strange the muffin was not toasted. Not a complaint just a bit different! 🍳 For Evening Dinner we shared the Camembert to start and I had the 12 hour Pork Belly, which was incredible. The Pork just fell apart, the crackling was cooked to perfection and the Carrot and Swede Puree was just amazing🤤 The No4 Burger was a lot bigger than we expected and it was full of flavour, you also t a large portion of Triple cooked Chips on the side🍟🍔 We have since been back AGAIN and had the Roast Dinners. These were so delicious and the beef I had was just one of the best I have ever tasted.. Would highly recommend for any meal of the day.

We have had the pleasure of dining here several times for breakfasts and evening meals, and I can't fault it. This is a doggy friendly place aswell which is a win but the staff is the best part. We had the pleasure of Amy serving us on most occasions impeccable front of house manor creative with the coffees but also goes above and beyond for you with a smile every time. Popped in for a coffee in the morning, it was absolutely delicious so ended up back for lunch. Genuinely the best food we had all week and even went back the next day for dinner as it was our last night and wanted a nice meal. Staff are brilliant and food is absolutely class

Party of 6 2 had pork belly 3 had fish and chips and 1 had lamb shank. Fish and chips OK, nothing special with a heavy batter ( not restaurant standard by any means ) Pork Belly OK , nothing special for the price and pork dry. The most disappointing was the lamb shank and fondant mash £25 , awful dried crispy ,Jerky texture shank that had been ruined by way over cooking ( you couldnt put a fork in the meat ).We very rarely complain , but this was unacceptable, we politely informed the young waitress, who apologised and took the dish away.She returned and said " would I like to select something else off the menu , the chef is concerned that if he cooks another Shank, we would still complain with how it is cooked "! ....like it was us being too fussy wanting a lamb shank cooked properly! Well , if the chef is concerned that he will make the same mistake twice and cannot cook a lamb shank to an edible standard - best to opt for a very standard fish and chips !! Maybe the " chef" is just a "fryer" and if that's the case I'd give this restaurant a miss and opt for the chippy across the road and save £50 !! I'd avoid this restaurant if you want something more than very mediocre at a high standard restaurant price

Went to this restaurant on my 70th birthday 20th June 2024 while on holiday with a family party of 11, used to eat here when was the Willow. The food was excellent as was the service, but was most disappointed with my meal “catch of the day” which just happened to be my favourite fish “plaice” basically the place was the size of a small Dab & offered hardly any meat, I’m an avid fisherman and ran my own club, so trusting my choice my Wife had the same! We both have never had a plaice so small! Real shame coz the other meals were good! Spoilt my 70th birthday !

I looked forward returning to this gem during our stay in Perranporth. The menu has lots to offer. We've had the breakfast and lunch here and loved it! Restaurant has a nice feel and friendly staff. It does get quite busy so worthwhile to make a reservation.

This was a lovely evening meal. A decent menu with something for everyone and some good seafood options. The salt and pepper squid were the highlight and the staff could not have been more friendly and professional. A perfect mid-week spot.

Incredible roast dinner! Popped in for a Sunday lunch and had a beef brisket roast and was without a doubt one of the best I’ve ever had! Staff were very friendly and helpful and looked after us. 10/10 if you are staying in perranporth defo give this place a try

Myself and 7 friends called last minute for a table on bank holiday Monday and they squeezed us in. We ordered most of the menu and everyone agreed every dish was amazing. From starters through to deserts we were blown away. Thanks for having us and I’ll certainly be back 😊

Beautiful breakfast here this morning and very welcoming service and atmosphere. Our two dogs were also welcomed with open arms. We love Perranporth, and this little cafe will be a firm favourite! The full English was delicious!

Where to start... ive just had the most mind destroying, tongue juicing and exquisite Cajun chicken burger. It was dry but juicy at the same time, i dont know how to describe what I've just ate, but I'll never forget it. This damn burger has probably ruined my love for burgers. I dont think I'll ever be able to beat this one. The service was exceptional. They asked us if we wanted drinks when we were low and were genuinely nice throughout the ordering process. It was a good atmosphere, it's nothing special but it's nice for the family. We loved the cute tiny restaurant.

Called in for breakfast after walking from Newquay. We were welcomed on arrival and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The food was lovely! We would certainly come back, the menu looked really interesting. We would thoroughly recommend it.

We were down in Cornwall visiting family and our first night out was to dine here, and I’m so glad we did!! I found it a great little place. It’s not the biggest of venues but I feel the size of the place adds to its charm. The food was outstanding and the service was just as good. Everything just came together and we had the perfect evening. Good vibes and friendly staff added to this of course. We also had after lunch here on the third day of our visit. The toasted sandwiches and coffee are great. Their cakes, cookies and tiffin lunchtime menu is amazing. If you like something cheeky with your tea or coffee, go ahead and treat yourselves!! We would love to have breakfast here. It’s a cracking little venue which I would recommend you go and eat at, at least once if you’re local.

We have just spent a week in Perranporth. We discovered this lovely restaurant on the first night and returned a further two evenings. There is a lovely atmosphere. It is dog friendly. Amazing food. Plentiful and cooked to perfection. Toilets are spotless. And the staff were all really friendly and attentive. If you want somewhere decent to dine I highly recommend this restaurant!

Best vegetarian curry I've had in a good while. My son had hake and pesto spaghetti and loved it. Good size portions. Lovely friendly staff. Hoping to try breakfast next. Yum.

Just had a beef brisket roast and quite simply the best roast dinner ever. Worth the 4 hour drive for that alone. Dogs got spoiled too, thank you Auntie Cariol.

Lovely food and drinks. The best scone I've had in Cornwall 😆. And the cakes were amazing too. I had a lovely hot chocolate and the in laws approved of the coffee. Great place and a lovely atmosphere 10/10

We visited on Easter Sunday for pre-booked Sunday lunch. Unfortunately the beef brisket which my husband wanted had sold out but that’s the risk in booking a late lunch. Three of us had the pork belly and it was absolutely delicious. The food was piping hot, very tasty and the portion good. Shout out to the cauliflower cheese! We picked up some Easter goodies to bring back with us, which although a little pricy were delicious. This is an absolute gem of a place! Highly recommended you visit when in the area.

I came here for dinner a couple of days ago. Had the dressed crab that came with chips and salad. It was yummy! They had so many other dishes on the menu I would love to try (BBQ ribs, 12 hour slow cooked pork belly etc). Would love to come back again.

This is THE best place to eat in Perranporth. The staff are amazing too. Can't wait for our next visit in June

Fantastic service and relaxed atmosphere. Me and my partner had the fish stew and catch of the day. Both dishes were delicious and well seasoned, and the seafood tasted very fresh. Worth every penny!

We visited around lunchtime, 5 of us (2 adults, 3 kids). We had a lovely warm welcome and they had 2 gluten free cake options which was fantastic. We ordered a mixture of lunch items and cakes, all of which were lovely. Great coffee too. Service was really excellent and we were made to feel very welcome. Will definitely be back, thank you.

We had a family Sunday lunch here. We all agreed the roast lunch was one of the best we had ever had. The mushroom Wellington was delicious. The service was excellent, really friendly. There is a relaxed atmosphere and we had a lovely afternoon. Throughly recommend and we will be back 😊

6 of us with 4 dogs turned up at 10.30am on a Sunday morning. No problem for No.4, they were fab rearranged a couple of tables for us and continued to give us friendly happy service. The food was delicious and even though they were busy the timings were great. Highly recommend and we will be back

First time at No.4. I arrived with my dog, both soaking wet and me, bleeding. (Encounter with stick and dog's teeth 🙈). Instantly made to feel welcome by female member of staff and within seconds offered a plaster for finger. How lovely was that? Ordered pot of tea and vegetarian breakfast which, I can honestly say, was the nicest I've ever had!! Thank you No.4 for your attention, care and feeding me ❤️

Can't fault this place at all. Come to Perran every year and visited last 3 years at least once and had superb meal every time....and very chilled place as you'd expect eating by the beach..looking forward to 2024 already!

Nice place with a really good Google reputation (…why we came here). The food was okay, the service very mediocre. Not so bad, but definitely not so good either.

I had a 3 course meal here tonight, dressed crab to start, followed by hake on specials board and honeycomb cheesecake to finish. II must say all 3 dishes were exceptional. Staff attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this place 👌🏻👌🏻

I’ve been in Cornwall a week, driven all over from as far as Lands end and this is genuinely the best place we’ve eaten. We had the Lamb shank and pork belly in the evening.

Popped in for a drink and ended up having a two course meal. Food was excellent - possibly the best mussels I've ever had! Service was faultless (served by two friendly and attentive girls with dark hair this evening). Will be returning for some takeaway goodies before we leave Perranporth!

Perranporth, the place that doesn't seem to want to serve breakfast on a Tuesday. Well their loss is our gain. No4 was open and willing to serve and what a breakfast. They some how made a fry up look healthy. Nice location and eating area, friendly staff. Would recommend 👌

Absolutely brilliant place to eat and drink. Have been to No.4 a lot whilst on vacation and never been disappointed. It's worth booking if you want to sit inside due to popularity, but outside seating is also available (in the better weather). Highly recommend No.4! 😋🤤

Having had a fine day at Healey's Cider Farm, The four of us got a taxi to Perranporth, the taxi driver recommended No4 BISTRO for an evening meal. 😀 Our dishes were freshly made & perfectly presented. Service was lovely & polite. In all a great day out, ending with a nice dinner 🍽 😋 Give it a try (oh & thanks to 'Little Wolf Taxis') for the heads up. Will deffo visit again in the near future. Lovely restaurant! We were only in Perranporth for a week but came here for breakfast and dinner twice! Absolutely amazing food and wide range on the menu! Full English was lovely for breakfast and we even got an extra sausage for our dog to enjoy. Our waitress was lovely (if the restaurant reads this, I can’t remember her name but very bubbly, welcoming, and blonde hair). I don’t eat fish but my family said it was incredible - I personally recommend the pork belly. Definitely must visit whatever meal - right on the beach and large car park near by.

Love coming here when we are down for our holiday. We always visit at least 2-3 times during the week. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food is always good, never had a bad meal and i always look forward to going back the following year!

We have just dined at the fabulous No 4 bistro in Perranporth. I had the most perfect crab sandwich, salad and chips. Was amazing. One of the finest meals I've had in a long time. Probably since our last visit to them. We were greeted by a new lady that we hadn't met before. WOW what a lovely lady she was. Absolutely first class as was the lady in the kitchen who prepared our food. My partners toastie and chips was equally perfection. On a day that I wasn't particularly in great spirit these people definitely put a smile on my face. Fabulous job No 4. Perfection as usual. We will be back soon. 🙂🙂
