We had the special smoked salmon potatoe rosti avocado poached egg, absolutely delicious. Would recommend. Cosy warm and friendly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a gem of a cafe in a town that is blessed with so many good places to eat and drink. Great food and a warm welcome from Charlie and his team.

I have been a regular at what must be the best coffee house in Bury St Edmunds. Fabulous home made cake and great coffee. Staff are so friendly and are a credit to our amazing town. Couldn’t help but laugh at the poor review given by clearly a poorly educated person last week! Well done Charlie and Tanya for being great hosts.

What a total rip off £3 for tea which is bad enough and £1 for a cup of water. And then when I complained we were told to leave.

Good choice of cake, original menu ideas. Good ambience. We arrived to a queue and packed cafe. Staff very polite, friendly and helpful and soon got people seated and apologised for any delay. Order at till. Service quick and efficient. Dog friendly too.

This was a completely positive experience. The staff are very friendly and professional, the coffee and cake is superb with loads of choice. It looks great on the inside but we sat outside with stunning views of the Abbeygate and the Cathedral. Highly recommend this place.

Only stopped here as everywhere else busy but boy I’m glad we did. Met with a inviting member of staff. Basic menu but varied choices. Freshly prepared and very tasty. Drinks were hot and everything nice and clean.

The coffee was awful & to make matters worse it was served in paper cups. With other coffee shops surrounding No 5 I really don't know how this will survive unless it ups its game.
