Usually visit for coffee but thought we'd try the food out. Staff insisted on making us wait by the door in the way of everyone else whilst they wiped a table. After seating us we ordered at the till and coffees and food arrived reasonably quickly. However for the price you don't get much food on your plate at all and ingredients are pretty basic, if well cooked. Over £30 for lunch and coffees for two seemed very steep to say it was nothing special and my husband left hungry. The real issue was after insisting on seating us themselves, before we'd even finished our coffees, they made us move so they could push tables together for a party of four. We will not we returning, I'm sure Bury has plenty of other places for lunch that offer a better deal and customer service.

The service was really poor. The food was fine- when it came. Two sausage rolls took 24 minutes to arrive. We had to ask where there were and were told they took six minutes to do. Seven minutes later they arrived. What does that say about the service?

Beautiful spot - a posh part of town. A little difficult to park but worth it as the food was presented carefully with thought. Food and cakes are of a high standard. Fresh produce. And staff are delightful. Great seating in and out of the quaint tasteful shop. Opposite a lovely park and square. Aovely entrance with sunflowers adorning the door. Quirky signs. O lu disadvantage for people with walking issues or disabilities is getting to the toilets down some stairs. Definitely recommend although abit pricey.

Best pizza in Bury St eds. Had a stuffed crust BBQ pizza and the base was so good and the toppings and cheeses were loaded on there and delicious, reminded me of the awesome pizza I used to have back in the US. Not cheap but well worth it, so much better than a domino's or other big chain pizza, which taste a bit plastic in comparison. This pizza was proper. People working there were very nice too, I had an injured hand and they helped put the pizza in the car for me Updated to say their tomato sauce base pizzas also excellent They do a good gluten free pizza option as well

Went for breakfast. The picture in the window looked pretty good. When it arrived it was disappointing the fried eggs were really runny under cooked the sausages looked like road kill shriveled up and dry everything else was warm not hot Sent it back to kitchen. When it came back all they had done is kept the same eggs just turned them over and fried them a bit more until they were over cooked I can't comment on the coffee that I had ordered as it never arrived No wonder they take your money when you order Could not eat and left.

Great place for Saturday brunch, Sunday roast, Burgers, Afternoon tea and Surf & turf. We have been eating here for years and have loved everything we have tried. One of the only places I have visited with a large group of family members where everyone unanimously agreed it was the best meal they have had & still talk about it years later. Service is great & staff a friendly, if you haven't eaten here you need to!
