Maxine's Restaurant in St Edmundsbury

The gluten free option was really poor, supermarket bread which was barely toasted and had no colour on it at all. This was a shame as the normal option was quite nice, if a bit pricey

Didn’t expect it to be this good.

Wow, what a hidden gem, took a drive out and found a real old traditional English pub. We were greeted by both staff and locals. Will be making this a regular stop on a Sunday afternoon.

Good selection of sandwiches and cake.

Fantastic village pub. Great atmosphere and delicious food. It's the type of place where you could just stay the whole day and feel welcome and happy.
