Great pre dinner drinks. Celebrating daughter’s birthday. Ladies all had cocktails. Lovely staff and bar.

No.17 Wine Bar is a wonderfully unique bar on the Kent/Surrey border. With a great selection of Gins, Wines & Beers (& all other tastes catered for) you will be well looked after by a friendly & attentive bar crew. An extremely tasty bar food menu is available too. Beautiful décor & sumptuous furnishings add a glaze of glamour. They regularly host music & karaoke nights which can be a special way to unwind for an evening out. I recently had a big birthday party at No.17. The team helped me organise my evening with food & an area set aside for celebrations. Couldn’t have gone more perfectly. So if you are looking for a quiet drink by candle light, or a lively venue to enjoy with friends and family then look no further than this glorious little gem in the garden of England. Cheers!!

The staff were wonderful as were the drinks, but the food was disgusting! Not palatable. No 17 you need to replace the chef as your letting yourselves down:/

Should definitely get the Moscow Mule, Black Russian and White Russian cocktails off the drinks menu!

Not sure about this place as we wanted to stop in for a short drink before picking up some food and having a small glass of wine. Place seemed pretty deserted, but we were half forced out the door by the group in front before a group behind packed us in. The place wasn't very busy, but we were told that all the tables had been reserved, but it seemed very quiet. I don't think it really approved of my green jumper and my Mum's cycling jacket. One of the waiters had the audacity to tell us they were fully booked when there were two chairs by the window. Fortunately theres a nice place down the road. I couldn't help but shake the feeling the place was trying to come across as classy but turned out to be snobby. I wouldn't go back in a hurry.

We visited No 17 last night, for pre-dinner cocktails before my partners birthday meal out. It was our first visit out since lockdown and I'm so pleased we chose to come here for it. The service was great as always, and the cocktails were fabulous! I phoned ahead in advance to reserve the outside courtyard seating and the staff were more than accommodating to us. Great little spot if you're looking for an evening out and want to make it extra special.

Love drinking here, staff and manageress are always amazing and food second to none. Didnt have a chance to try it myself, but by all accounts the Magucal Minkie is to die for!

What a great little bar! Stopped here for pre dinner drinks and ended up going back in after our meal. Good staff who were very knowledgable about what they have to offer, great choice of gins and they even offer nibbles/light meals. They advised they also do live music on weekends and to check there Facebook/instagram for up and coming events! This is now one our favourite places in Westerham, a must visit!!!!

We have recently moved to the area and are so pleased to have this gem on our doorstep. The food is flavoursome and really good quality, and the cocktails are amazing! What a lovely way to while away a wet afternoon in Westerham!

Had our sons 30th birthday gathering here. Jungle Lounge perfect size for around 35 people. Ryan and staff helpful in the setup, let us put our own playlist on their Sonos system, pre-ordered drinks from small bar in the jungle lounge worked well. Many of our guests also got cocktails and various Gins from the main bar upstairs and all of our people remarked what a good venue it was. Recommended.

We love this bar. Always feel welcome and they make the best Pornstar Martini! We went here on Saturday night for a gin tasting. This also came with a five course tasting menu. I have to say, we didn't realise there would be so much tasty food especially for the price. Excellent value. There was a little chat about gin and then we were given our first of five to try. Little bit about each gin before we tried each one, all reasonably local to Westerham, as was the food. We all really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it as a good fun evening out.

Very good food and wine selection. The staff is very friendly and professional. Some wine could be expensive, but overall the price is very good for the quality.

Great choice of gins in a chilled environment. They didn't have our booking but accommodated us immediately. It's a nice place to have pre-dinner drinks.

The drinks are delicious, the atmosphere is chilled and the staff are friendly and accomodating. To top it all, Ryan the manager has the best voice!

Be aware food must be ordered before 9pm staff not very accommodating or flexible. Limited food menu. Locals seemed to get served after 9pm though! If sitting in the area at the back drink up early as they like to close the area before 10.45! Bit difficult in a large group to stand near the bar and block the way. Have you guessed as a visitor it was uncomfortable, best go with a local. Shame.

Lovely little wine bar situated in Westerham. It’s what Westerham needed. Great atmosphere staff lovely. Great for relaxing drink.

We attended a 30th Anniversary Party and had a great time ! The staff were friendly and reasonably efficient, considering that they were extremely busy .

If you're under 25 forget this one. It's expensive, noisy, and strictly for those with more money than the sense you acquire with age. Nothing more to say really.

Good experienced staff. Great cocktails, and an even better Gin selection. Coolest place in Westerham.

An evening out at No 17 is becoming an outstanding culinary experience accompanied by great wine. Chef Jack is an outstanding talent creating fine dining to rosette standards.

Up until yesterday I had only visited this wine bar for a drink but the new menu looked so inviting that my boyfriend and I decided to eat there. WOW - what an amazing experience. The new chef , Jack, should be on Masterchef! We had the baked camembert as a starter, my boyfriend had the duck breast and I had the seared trout. These were exceptional and could easily be served in a Michelin star restaurant. Even the olives with our drinks were delightful and the taster dessert was out of this world. Apart from the food, the décor is quirky and just right, the bar staff very helpful and informative - overall a fantastic evening and we will definitely be returning to see what other delights Jack has conjured up.

Chef Jack Stacy has done a hell of a job whipping up a new menu for No17 after being at the Brassiere for just 5 weeks.

This wine bar has been an asset to Westerham from day one. The Tempranillo is great. The new chef, Jack, is absolutely superb, fine cuisine, so talented! We had the home cured salmon to start, followed by the chicken with bacon jus and my husband had the fresh cod, then ‘the apple’, made of apple, stem ginger and rhubarb (see photo). Thank you Ryan, Beau, Vardi, Tommy and Jack.

A really lively venue with a great atmosphere. Fantastic choice of Gin, even my personal favorite Gunpowder Gin.

This bar is was a good find in Westerham. A good choice of cocktails and wine. The staff we friendly and explained the cocktails we were unfamiliar with. We did not try the food, but can thoroughly recommend the drinks.

This is a great find in Westerham. Beautiful decor and really good menu for food and drinks. Very cosy and staff are really friendly and helpful. A really nice change from the country pubs in the area.

This is a great addition to Westerham. It has definitely livened up the town at the weekends and in a positive way. I really like the decor, it is modern but warm and cosy and you feel instantly comfortable.

A lovely little charming find in Westerham; cosy and quirky, excellent playlist, friendly and professional staff with a delicious Mojito on the menu... can't wait to return and dabble through their wine list!

I am quite shocked to read some of the reviews for this place which were written back in July, stating it was not a good place and the staff were not trained. Well the bar has obviously taken this feedback very serious, I have been there twice this week and think it's fantastic. The cocktails are well made, the food is delicious and the staff are polite and so inventive. This place is a hidden gem, I highly recommend a visit and not to take not very of the past reviews and it has obviously moved on leaps and bounds from then.

Overrated and overpriced with untrained staff. How this place has got a 5 star rating is beyond me.l There are plenty of other places to enjoy a drink in Westerham that are worthy a visit, without having to pay top London prices. It needs to fully. train its staff and its change its pretentious attitude if it's to remain in business.

A group of us fall into No. 17 every week after our choir practice - all that singing gives us a thirst you see! I can thoroughly recommend the cocktails (especially the No.17 with raspberry) and the staff have always welcomed us with friendliness, making us feel very welcome. They are most adept at mixing up a variety of rather exceptional (if a bit pricey) cocktails so I was surprised to see the earlier review expressing their disappointment. I've tried their light bites which are also very good, the chef is great. The décor is modern, sofas, mirrors and low tables and there's a small area at the back where you can sit outside on a warm evening.

Worst place I've ever visited. Service was shocking. Didn't know how to make the simplest of drinks and made a pigs ear out of the simplest of tasks. When we left they ran after us as they thought we hadn't paid for one of the drinks. When we went back in and they realised we had they offered little in the way of apology. Management need to get a grip. Wouldn't last 5 minutes in London. Which is where they have based their prices.

We have frequented No.17 since it opened. The most fabulous selection of gins (up to 64 to choose from now I believe, I am well behind the ever increasing tastings) and some very unique wine choices. The food is also fresh and well balanced for a venue that is predominantly for getting sloshed in! Including fresh locally or British sourced meats and cheeses to compliment wine (or gins), Sunday brunch menu and 'Billy's Chicken Skewers'.

The most lovely two owners you could hope for, Vardy and Beau are always so welcoming, friendly and fun, and along with their fantastic team they pull together to create just the right vibe. The decor is simply stunning and you instantly feel warm and invited in the super cool and slick ambience. Amazing cocktails and World class gin selection backed up by some seriously delicious food. Perfect for a daytime or evening session. I think you can tell that I love this place and this area really needed it :-)

Friendly people in a lovely setting ..i definately would head for there next time im in Westerham .....Wish we could have had the time to stay longer .... Fabulous selections of wines and Gins :)

This bar has loads to offer whether your looking for a couple of glasses of wine and somewhere to chill for a while or some food and cocktails no .17 has it covered.The staff are fantastic the place is much bigger than it looks from outside it's very clean and I think the prices are ok give it a go you won't regret it

I booked this venue for a colleagues leaving party. We reserved and an area near the kitchen. The staff, decor, small food platters and cocktails are lovely. Unfortunately it was a little smoky near the kitchen but this didn't detract hugely from our evening.

Been here a couple of times for drinks since it opened and It's a great addition to Westerham, making a nice change or bridges the gap from either the more traditional pubs or variety of restaurants.

we popped into No17 before eating next door at Chows, the service was very good, a very knowledgable barman, especially on the gin front. well presented environment.

We have been to No 17 a few times now, mostly on a Sunday and I must say every time has been amazing! Just what Westerham needed! We Have had some brilliant funny Sunday afternoons with Ali as our bar man.....fantastic guy! He always looks after us and any joining customers...very professional but lots of fun too! Love the decor just a totally fantastic bar. We look forward to more amazing times here ❤️

We were staying at The King's Arms ( very average ) and stumbled across this excellent wine bar next door. Really welcoming staff. We had a glass of Cava and then ordered another round. Unfortunately, the young waiter hadn't appreciated we were having Cava and poured us 3 glasses of Prosecco. We pointed this out and within seconds the lovely red haired Manger (we've assumed this was her role) immediately changed it for us. We didn't eat here as we had a reservation at Napoli e - which was also really good but next time we will share dishes. We will definitely be back to No 17. We'd love a wine bar like this in Bromley.

A recently opened wine bar in the village of Westerham in Kent. It is a lovely place for a drink or a cocktail. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they have an extensive wine menu and also offer a nice arrangement of bar food. The wine bar is extremely comfortable with sofas, chairs and tables and also a patio area out back ideal for relaxing in summer. Nice and relaxed atmosphere and ideal for a good night out with friends or pre dinner drinks before a meal in one of Westerham's restaurants. A really nice place to relax and drink with friends and thoroughly recommended

Having called into No 17 on a Saturday night in November when it had a great atmosphere I went with 3 friends for our bi monthly night out! Huge disappointment, wine was served warm, no atmosphere in the place and a group of local males making it very difficult and uncomfortable to get to the toilet! We spent a great deal of money before calling for a cab back to Oxted which was going to be 30 mins, we were told we couldn't order any further drinks which if that's the law is fine but then witnessed a group of locals being served! Not on really! Won't bother going again and will stick with staying in Oxted which is a real shame!

Have visited a few times since the bar opened only a few months ago. On every visit, regardless of how busy the place is, have always received fantastic service. The bar staff actually smile, are super friendly and you're never waiting too long for your drinks which are completely reasonable. Lovely mix of people. Fab place - this is fast becoming our local 'go to bar'.

Such lovely interiors and really tasty brunch. We enjoyed the friendly ambience too. Definitely worth a visit!

So Contented. After reading the great reviews on this establishment i simply had to visit and was so glad i did.

Visited here with friends and sad to say very underwhelmed.

The bar defiantly has great potential & im sure it will be great but ATM it's not quite there.

Really felt like the West End of London with an extensive wine list plus a reallt tasty and well presented light menu that complimens the wine and champagnes on offer.
