After a long hard day we had the pleasure of being served by two lovely young girls; ashley and emmie. Smiles on their faces and answered all our questions regarding the products (we ask alot). Thanks guys. Definitely worthy of reward/recognition :)

Nice place, but not a Costa coffee.

Just been for Christmas Dinner with my family. The staff were excellent and very helpful and organised. The meal, I will be honest because that is what you want to hear. I had prawn cocktail to start, but not much dressing, just romaine lettuce and king prawns. The turkey dinner was hot, all the veggies were fresh and the turkey was moist. However, the pigs in blankets were undercooked, and 2 of us were missing stuffing. The cheesecake was delicious and all fresh ingredients, but I found it strange to have fresh strawberries on top of raspberry cheesecake, which could have been a problem for one of our group that has a strawberry allergy. The chocolate torte was far too strong for me, and I am a chocoholic. I wont mention the coffee because I worked with Stephen Drucker (say no more). In all, you did well for a Christmas Day meal. We will be booking for 2025, so it couldn't have been that bad.

We stopped here for a hot drink on a Friday lunchtime and were happy with the small cappuccino and hot chocolate we ordered. We were originally planning to drink our coffees in the seating area but as this was filling up decided to take them back to the car. Despite the time of day, there were only 3 members of staff working at the time (1 on the till and 2 making drinks) so there was a little wait to be served. We (and all other customers) weren't asked whether we would like our drinks in proper cups to drink inside or takeaway cups. We were all given takeaway cups, despite proper cups being available and usually offered at Costas in other services. This ended up working out for us on this occasion but we usually prefer proper cups if using the indoor seating. Despite the low staffing level and how busy they were, the staff members were all very polite, friendly and helpful.

I came to the pub and there was a lovely cozy atmosphere! Staff were all friendly, specially Tom and Jeanette, and food was great!
