Always go here for food, Great customer service very friendly and inviting. The Chicken is crispy, tender and well cooked. We also get the wings which are very tasty. Pizza has a good kick to it and is always cooked to perfection. I recommend NJ Foods to everyone who either wants to eat in or takeaway you won't be disappointed. Thanks again for such great food and service.

Can’t say a bad word, every time we go in there so friendly. Always looked after and the super size pizza is our favourite. Food is always nice and hot and never had any issues with any of the food we’ve ordered.

As promised, I withdraw my below complaint. After seeing the usual faces behind the counter, we tonight went back for chicken. The owner could not have been more apologetic for our previous experience and as such, made us the best and biggest kebabs we have ever had. Thanks guys, nice to see service has resumed as normal! What an absolutely shame! Used to be a great local kebab that did amazing lemon and herb chicken kebabs. Hoped it was a one off until tonight where we ordered a cheeseburger (husband) and lemon and herb chicken kebab (me) I took the chicken back. Cold and pink, no pitta bread and wrong salad. I had a burger instead as I didn’t want to risk the chicken again. Equally as disappointed with the burger, flavourless and bland. Chips were ok. Won’t be going back, such a shame especially given the amount of money spent and that it’s such a treat for us at the moment!!

Went in for a simple meal but they seemed to not understand, ended up being overcharged.

Food, service and atmosphere all shocking. Not worth the money!!! Got 2 meals both of which were wrong!! Resulted in being overcharged. Owner got physically angry slamming the card machine on the counter and being rude to his own staff. Wouldn’t recommend!!

This was my go too takeaway but the Lamb kebab so undercooked and cold as a brown woman it was paler than my skin. The chicken wings so overpriced. 5 small ones for only £8 is crazy. Never ordering again.

Literally the worst takeaway I have ever had. Chips that were both burned and undercooked at the same time, and a piece of oven fish that had been deep fried to the point where it was like tough steak to chew. Utterly repulsive!

Worst food I have had in a very long time. Bland, horrible consistency of batter and overdone.

Food is good and the happy gent behind the counter always makes my kids smile.

This is very poor service to attend to. Javed is such a creep and so is his employ. They askes personal questions and they asked me to be Muslim and was judging me for being different religion. I have also noticed they askes little children personal questions, so my advice is to adults that has kids should be aware! Very unprofessional behaviour to talk to customers like that.

Food is delicious, delivery is always on time and driver is always friendly. I have ordered a lot over the years and will continue 👍🏼

Said would be with me at 20 past 10 and then called that said it be 10 mins and not we have been waiting 20 mins

Food came quickly, peri chicken is delicious and there's so much of it, massive portion, good chips and wedges and staff were lovely and friendly including delivery driver.

The food took forever to reach. Delivery boy kept on insisting that apparently he came , knocked 10 times and then left with the food! Kept on disconnecting the call half way through the conversation. It’s a shame for the shop to be run by such rude and incompetent people. When he decided to visit the second time he went to a different building which means he never came to the right building in the first visit. Worst experience ever!

Best kebab I have had for a long time! The sever was freshly cutting all salad when I arrived and was a pleasure to deal with.

Best food about. Juicy tasty chicken, great kebabs, nice seasoning and sauce, 1 hour delivery time usually, but worth the wait. Order once every 22 weeks, very very rarely disappointed

Ordered Pizza and Chicken wings, Pizza was cooked perfectly and chicken was tasty definitely will be ordering again.

Ordered a chicken burger meal from here the other day, came exceptionally fast within 15-20 min. The delivery driver was very kind and friendly. The food came warm and was by far the best fast food in and around basingstoke. The wings were juicy and flavoursome whilst the burger was very tasty. Would definitely recommend and buy from here again!

I ordered some food from this place for the total of £20.99, with in 2 mins i realised i missed something off so cancelled the order and went to reorder with the extra bits. when i cancelled the order it said that they had charged me £20.99 Cancelation fee. I phoned them up and they just said its nothing to do with us its down to Just eat. I have cancelled food before and had a full refund and never been charged a cancelation fee, clearly this is something they have set up. Really annoyed and still not had anything back from anyone. Avoid

Avoid this place at all costs. New to the area so thought we'd try this place out. Ordered three 1/2 peri-peri chicken and received it in kitchen foil. The chicken appeared as though it had been reheated. It was dry, tastless and overall an unnpleasant experience. Also ordered the fried chicken wings and large fries, both tasted horrible as if they were cooked in old oil. For anyone reading, I would save your money and go elsewhere. Owner/manager please get in touch as I want a refund for my complete order!

Have ordered on a number of occasions with no issues and brilliant service, however tonight was the exception. Ordered before 8pm, order was accepted but nearly two hours and numerous attempts to contact the vendor, I was told the order had been cancelled. No notification was received. Now having to find something for dinner and will be eating much later than anticipated. Evening ruined and now waiting for refund. Won't be ordering from NJ Food Street again.

Had to wait a little longer for the food to be delivered. Just over 70mins or so.. but was worth the wait.. ordered the kebab meat and chips. And a pizza.. yer good food tasty and not cold. Will order again.👍

Waste of time. Someone can't read an order wrong pizza, missing items and and wrong dips.called up and asked where missing items where said they would send new one out. Whats the point in missing if they don't even send them.

Ok, first time customer. Shop was a bit grubby, and shabby looking. Ordered a mixed kebab and chips. Staff were friendly but the guy cooking kept sprinkling some powder stuff over the meat, every few minutes. Then painting some kinda sauce on, seemed a bit strange for a normal kebab. I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted it, really nice flavour and a nice spicy bite. Chips were a bit limp, but were hot and tasted fine. Will definitely get again next time I'm in the area.

My grandson had a chicken burger on Thursday night from here followed by a bad dose of food poisoning. Won't be ordering from here again.

We ordered a takeaway for delivery and estimated time was 7.50pm. It did not arrive until 9.30pm and we had NO contact from the restaurant. We tried calling but their lines were permanently unavailable. An hour after we were expecting it to come, we made other food arrangements. The delivery arrived and due to social distancing we were unable to refuse it to the driver as he was already in the car. When we called the restaurant later that night they said they would need to come back and collect the food. We explained it was now in our bin as we had already eaten. We were unable to get a refund as we could not provide the bin from the food. Service was late and the service on the phone was rude and abysmal. Never returning.

Ordered some many times from the company never had a problem. Told me they would deliver by a certain time never did the whole night but still took my money. I even tried to call on numerous occasions to yet no answer disgusting straight to voicemail . Thank for the reply to your loyal customers to say you was not able with my delivery. I will never order from you again and make this very clear what you have done to other customers. A refund would be lovely for food you charged me for I never received. I don't want nothing else from you but will make very clear to other customers the service I received. You as a company should be ashamed.

Ordered off of just eat and disappointed to say that we waited 2 hours until 9.30 to be told our food would not come after. Saying on the app it had been delivered at 9.05 there was nothing nit even outside...

First time using, we had four different meals and we were all happy.Update. 3 Times we've had food delivered and to be fair the food is really good. The 2nd time the 2 kebabs had the wrong salad and when I spoke to the manager he apologized and said they were really busy. Just tried them for a 3rd time and once again they didn't read the notes and the salad was wrong again and the burger was missing. They did sort this out quickly but I won't be using them again shame as the food is probably the best around

Well , would love some explanation. Ordered the food around 17.00 pm and apparently it went all the way to Siberia " Russia". Guys seriously 3.30 hours and your line is busy? Please don't humiliate the shop and yourselves , talk at least with your customers. . . By the ways its 3.40 hours passed now, at least let me know you are not coming so I can start cooking.

We often have kebabs from here. Always delivered sooner than expected. Delivery driver very friendly. Food extremely good.

Ok chicken, soggy chips, decent pizza, but customer service ruins it all. Standard delivery is 55 minutes, haven't had it on time yet. Called and was basically treated like an irritation at 1 hour mark, told it would be 5 mins. 15 mins later call again and am told the same thing, I explained this is what I was told before and asked when the driver left...10 mins ago. Great so I was lied to before. I asked if they were going to call the driver to check and was told no, they were very busy and it should be there soon. Not the first time for awful customer service but always appreciate it can be an odd day. Now the last 3 orders have been like this, they're on my 'never again' list. Their loss, we spend far more than we should on takeaway but not with them any more.

Unreliable. Delivery which was supposed to take 50 minutes is currently estimated at over an hour, and driver has still not left. Wouldn't recommend if you're hungry.

Really nice to be able to pop in for fish and chips or whatever you choose for the family and get good food for a reasonable price. Friendly staff and lollipops for the kids

I'm a regular visitor to nj, the peri peri chicken is easily the best chicken I have had, especially from a takeaway. The rest of the food is a good standard for takeaway, but peri peri chicken is second to none. On the occasions I collect the staff are friendly and attentive.

Worst customer service ever! The guy put the phone down on me first because he was busy. When I called back because he didn't ask what drink I wanted in my meal he cancel my order and told me to order from somewhere else after already waiting 30 min.

Recently moved to the area and wanted to try something new. Found this place and had the 'mega deal'... Originally 3 pizzas, hot chicken wings, garlic bread and bottled drink however, we managed to swap the garlic bread and drink for b+j ice cream with no extra charge. The delivery came and was still piping hot, pizzas were cooked to perfection, soft dough and the chicken was better than KFC. Would 100% recommend... Will definitely be ordering again! Thank you :)

I googled a kebab shop in Basingstoke as I was on my way home to Andover from a lovely day out which the family at the shops and Eastrop Lane Recreational park the other side of Basingstoke when I found this place, we all enjoyed the food and the staff was amazing with us and the kids. I would highly recommend if you are local, just moved in to area or even passing through.

This place can be hit or miss. We have ordered a few times and sometimes its bang on, others you feel you have wasted your money. Pizzas are a good shout usually, and burgers. Kebabs are 50/50, its either juicy meat or thin paper like stuff. Good value for money but delivery times are not consistant, despite living 3 mins up the road (Pack Lane)

Hands down best kebab I've had in ages!

Went this evening for the first time and frankly wish I hadn’t bothered as I am still as hungry as when I walked in - the meals I bought were not edible however do let me share the full experience below. Arrived at premises, looks very clean and greeted by a friendly gent. Our food would be cooked fresh so didn’t mind waiting - as the food would be a while we were offered some chips to pick at - a nice touch we thought. After ordering 2 battered sausages and chips and a boneless chicken meal we left thinking this could be the new Saturday night takeaway of choice if the food was any good.... Sadly this will not be the Saturday night takeaway of choice as £15 of food has just been deposited in to the bin. In summary the sausages were unappetising, the chips were ok but instead of the 3 portions ordered there were only 2 in the bag (please tell me they didn’t deduct a portion of chips to make up for the ones they chose to give to my daughter as we waited). We move on the boneless southern fried chicken which while boneless I am able to confirm is also chicken less - the seasoning is nice once picked from the lump of fat that was tried to be passed off as chicken. In summary I will not be returning and in addition would recommend that the good people of Basingstoke refuse to eat this exceptionally poor standard of food - tonight I had fairly low expectations as I required only the standard of food one would normally get from a chip shop which was missed by a mile as the only item worth consuming was the can of 7up in the bag from the meal deal 🤬

Turned up reasonably quick but my 2year old daughter has got ill from the food and my chicken was pink and the rest of the food was all under cooked I will never order from here again

Awful service! Placed an order at 7.18pm still at 9.15 no food ..no phone call to say sorry. This was the first time to use you guys. First impression is always your last impresssion. Don't waste your time or money for a business that doesn't care about it's customers!!!!

Ordered large kebab but what turned up looked like half a kebab, if that's the large hate to see the small. Also ordered large cheesy chips not very big portion for a large. Also only 300yards away yet turned up cold. Also stated front door but delivery came to back door. Going by tonight looks like n j food Street are not interested in customer retention just profit margin!!!!! Very disappointed 😞
