McDonald's in Basingstoke and Deane

Stopped for breakfast, and the lovely Debbie spent five minutes showing me how to get the most out of the app helping me order my food to the table, and printed out my receipt so I could claim a reduced price Big Mac meal.

The service was very slow as it was peak time but as with a lot of these places. More attention was being given to the just eat orders that were coming in.

The Halloumi Fries were tasteless

Didn’t and couldn’t order any food. The app wasn’t working. I complained to the staff who were totally disinterested. I then tried to order without the app. This wouldn’t work either. Called the staff again. The manager came and bashed the machine to wake it up. He walked off and it still didn’t work. Walked out as did several other people.

Received completely wrong meal upon delivery.

Security issues, has a Security guard , and lots of youths with attitudes , avoid

Normal McDonald's but this one has a big soft play area for the smaller kids. Menu as expected and now ordered by electronic device with option for delivery to table.

Food cold, dry, not fresh. In centre location so easy to find.

Food is good and the place is nearly always busy.

Tables all dirty but person who is cleaning is more interested in chatting to a friend at the door ( which is wide open and it’s c-c-c-cold) while that person stands smoking and blowing their smoke into the restaurant. A dirty uninviting place to eat!!

Very busy and sometimes the food comes cold. Very nice playground for kids.

I recently had an amazing experience at McDonald's, thanks to an outstanding staff member named SOMI. Her efficient service made my visit enjoyable. I appreciate their dedication to work.

Ordered a triple cheeseburger and it was crunchy (burnt beef)

Loo was blocked, play area closed and chicken in burger over cooked. Bit disappointed

The service was reasonable quick and the staff were friendly. The food was the normal McDonalds quality and value. The restaurant was clean and tidy.

I got my order with cold ingredients.

Absolutely horrible place. Staff rude. Toilet door broken and I got trapped inside! I also woke up with a stomach ache and it made me wonder about how hygienic the kitchen is. I will NEVER go there again!

It's a normal MC Donald's as much as the staff try to keep out the riff raff they still get in. Staff were very professional when 2 girls smeared their table with ketchup before they left (who does that?!) And cleaned it up with a smile 😊

if you want toilet water in your fries then it’s the place for you, this place is absolutely shocking in staff behaviour and their hygiene. kicked out a disabled blind man before as well

Realised that in most mcdonalds the first self service touch pads don’t have receipts so I ended up ordering twice on another pad, fortunately I was able to get a refund on one order. The amazing thing about McDonalds is that all food taste the same so it’s reliant wherever.

I ordered food today 1/9/2023 from Macdonalds with Just Eat. I did not receive my order. Not happy!!!! I called Macdonalds to complain they were not interested, the girl I spoke to was rude and uninterested. Will not be using just eat again and will not order food from Macdonalds ever again. Disgusting Customer service

Food was OK, but kicking out a homeless man, look at how much money you make each and every day, he wanted to use the toilet !

Main issue is with ordering via app most times they tell me my payment hasn't been successful so i have to pay again at window defeats the purpose of speeding things up with app and the app also gives you code and acts like it's paid. Best word to describe this mcdonalds is inconsistent sometimes is good sometimes is bad.

Great food clean environment absolutely amazing

Ordered breakfast from the app at 10:45. Drove to branch to collect. When we checked in the app said the whole order had been cancelled as we arrived at 11:01. What's the point in allowing the order if you can't be bothered to cook the dam food!. Waste of a drive.

If you are in town and want some warm food then maybe try this McDonald's out. But personally I would say to be careful there are always violet people who are mostly drunk or just want to fight outside. But if you are lucky and the top of town is peaceful then I would recommend this place.

In my opinion the best one out of the three in Basingstoke. Good service, clean restaurant. Had soggy chips on one or two occasions but these were replaced with freshly cooked ones by staff so overall it's all great.

Made a 40min return trip to pick up some breakfast mcmuffins, got home realised we were one mcmuffin short. Manager says she will refund straight away but not heard back for a few days so ended up taking it up with McDonalds HQ.

My grandchildren loved the play area and always enjoy the food. A good go-to place 😌

Food was hot which with McDonald’s that can be surprising, and very nice staff. However, it’s always busy inside and out.

Always happy, always same menu ordered, always fast service, so I am always happy there with my kid. Even I found that I like coffee there. Mcdonald is a good place for a quick meal with kids "they like it"

I love McDonalds and this is the main one I go to, however I am not there now, but I can certify that even though it is a little dirty and customer service isn't the best, I came here for food not a janitors closet. The food is absolutely delicious. I know it is processed and some people don't like it but yeah.

I am very upset as a customer and a person as this evening around 20:30- 21:00 I was at the store; my timing is only vague because I was denied another receipt by the floor manager running the kitchen and service. As I was given an euro coin instead of a pound coin at the till which I had not noticed due to my previous purchases and trust in the basingstoke store near hay market and when I later returned to the store requesting a receipt and somewhere I could complain about this predicament. I was denied by the floor manager at the time as she verbally and periodically insulted me for being petty as a Nepalese because apparently I was being an embarrassment even though I tried to explain to her that I had been given an euro coin instead of a pound coin and would like some form of formal procedure to help me regarding this issue. And when she decided that she didn’t want to deal with me and gave me a pound coin out the till; I called her out not to put the euro coin back in the till so it doesn’t happen again. She gave up on helping me and asked me for the pound coin back which I gave her back as I had never had such an issue at the restaurant or ever been treated this poorly by anybody else in the establishment. Followed by more unprofessional words and behaviour I stayed by the side of the till looking every other minute over my shoulder so as to not inconvenience another customer as I searched for somewhere I could report this event as she did not give me an email or contact information claiming her manager will deal with it tomorrow morning and I can come in tomorrow morning if I want to make any complaints. This had ruined my whole evening and I couldn’t be anymore disappointed by my local McDonalds restaurant where I frequent with my colleagues. Even when I explained she wouldn’t listen and simply walked off speaking degrading words. I only request this matter to be solved as so it never happens to anybody else as it was the worst feeling being blamed for somebody else’s mistake. Thank you.

I liked it. Delicious as always. There is a lot of space and seating on two floors. A big plus is a mini playroom for children, even I was interested. There was no “delivery” to the table, or whatever it’s called, there simply aren’t these “numbers” to put on the table. It’s strange.

It's a Macdonald's, but slow to serve and full of scooter delivery riders

Today I had lunch in MacDonald, which is very bad experience, I had vomiting after having meal due to serve bad quality of food

Haven't eaten at McJank in years and this visit hammered home why. Reminded me this restaurant still sucks. Food doesn't resemble its tinder profile pics on the screens. There was a fluorescent light flickering fast enough to be a strobe light by the counter. The staff must feel sick working there with that all day. The hot chocolate was hot water and the chips were stone cold. Took one bite of my burger and was reminded of all the YouTube preservative videos that I've seen this year. Made me feel sick and stopped after that one bite. I will never eat food from this restaurant again.

Dingy and classical music shouldn't be played that loud unless your expecting to smell napalm in the morning.

terrible customer service. especially from the customer care employee “sean”. my order has come wrong multiple times and he hasn’t assisted me in getting my order correct, and rather giving me attitude and saying “that’s not my problem”

Ranvir Singh, I believe the manager, great hospitality and good attitude and smile for 8am, makes a huge difference telling everyone enjoy there day/year, truly cares for business, haven't received this kind of greeting elsewhere other mcdonalds always take ages and they sigh and complain at you.

Well I really don't like this mcdonalds at all iv had breakfasts Lunches and dinners out of hear before and they always come out cold or items missing! So unprofessional and when ya spending quite abit of money it ain't good enough!

Good old McDonald's value for money

The place looks dirty. There is no available sanitizer on the site. The staff who is incharge of cleaning the table has no anti bacterial spray, she just wipe the dirty table with tissue which is so unhygienic.

Kids like it, I hate it. Food is always cold. Too many wrong orders over the years(items regularly get missed out) worst thing is the amount of online orders that they accept causes chaos in the restaurant. If you want a simple quick meal, don't bother. Waited 35 mins for 2 quarter pounder meals recently! Sort a separate waiting area for the online delivery companies so the people who want to sit in get a bit more respect. It's expensive for what you actually get too.

Ordered through just eat, first order that was delivered was completely wrong. Contacted just eat to get a refund and we ordered our food again so not McDonald’s fault. Second order delivered and was missing our sons burger and chips and mine was cold. Tried calling but no one picks up. Ridiculous

a pretty good mcdonalds, though its proximity to a nearby school make any time after 3pm extremely packed. if you avoid these peak times however you get a nice experience with fast service

Enjoyed my double cheese burger and milk shake.

Took our grandson before the cinema at around 1615. Lots of kids just released from school although they were generally well behaved. The food was typically McDonalds with a flat burger that looks nothing like that in advertising. The staff were fantastic. The lady offered to collect our meals even though I selected collect myself. The best bit for young children is the play area upstairs. It was clean safe and secure; ideal for kids to release all that built up energy.

Lovely classical music in the evening. I quite enjoyed my Big Mac as the gentle tones of Chopin tinkled in the background. A must visit for any classical music lover.

Early Saturday evening. Utter chaos behind the counter; waited 15-20 minutes for a Happy meal... Also, despite many young children being the restaurant at that time, the language from a member of staff and several customers was not appropriate.

Your typical fast food hub, plenty of space to sit on ground level and first floor, clean despite how busy it usually gets. Easy to order stuff either in person, via self-service or app. Available for takeaway, eat in (as well as table service). Staff friendly. Ideal town center location is it's main merit as well as downfall due to always present loud and messy teens tolerated by staff.

Massive thanks you to Neena, manager and the whole team who worked on Thursday 08/09/22 for helped me organised surprises birthday party for my son with lots of balloons and activities for children. All the children and parents had great time with warm welcome, great customers service, great place🥰

Took over 20 mins for food to arrive what a joke.it was not even busy

The interior wallpapers on the upper floor are so ugly, they make it feel like as if it's dirty. 😂 That's the only thing I mention because the food was absolutely perfect. Also for breakfast it's a convenient spot.

Food hot but I paid for 3 large meals and the fries cartons were less than half full. They are more interested in getting deliveroo and just eat drivers orders out than serving regular customers

Honestly dont bother with this store, got delivered a apple pie which had been cooked and then sat there for 5 hours when the maximum time is 1.5 hours for apple pies... Staff clearly need more training when they cant follow basic health and safety laws.

Great value with the free softplay for the kids but the quality of the food deteriorates every time we visit.

They always forget my sauces when I deliver. Not an issue when I eat inside tho
