Nine in Bradford

We live in baildon, and have used cafe Nine quite a lot. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Quick to get your order taken, even if they are very busy. They have a bit of seating outside too which is nice when we do have some sun! Food is always nice and fresh. Usually have a large breakfast and coffee. Never disappointed. Absolutely no problem recommending them if you fancy a bite or a coffee, they will sort you out!

Went last Saturday and the weekend before. Absolutely great food, great staff and the cakes you can buy are so good!

Called in for Breakfast, not impressed four slices of too lightly toasted bread piled up on top of the breakfast plate. Sausages cut in half lengthwise and panini grilled (?) like rubber. Bacon leathery. Fried eggs had been waiting around. No fried bread! Black pudding OK . Double Espresso Coffee Good. Dubious motivational framed comments on the wall. Cafe needs a refresh then it would be very busy! Shame really

Popped in here with my toddler grandson for lunch. LOVED IT! Very traditional Yorkshire little cafe with a fab menu. I had cottage pie which was home made and just awesome. It was less than 20 for the 2 of us. I guess that was why it was busy. We took two cakes home with us. If you are in Baildon GO HERE! Traditional, decent food and very decent pricing. Will be coming here a lot more now!

Exactly what an independent local cafe should be! I visited Nine today and was really impressed by the quality of the service, coffee and the food - all for a fair price too. Staff serving were welcoming and clearly care about what they sell and how they interact with customers, making sure its the best it can be, been attentive to customers needs and at the same time, managing to serve several at once to the same high standards. Our lunch was great and we will be back again. Keep up the good work.

Great food and super friendly service. Clean, tidy and modern, it looks great inside. Definitely worth a visit. The belly buster breakfast is huge and great value for money.

Lovely cafe and nice for coffee and cakes and sandwiches. Not tried their hot food yet other than cheese on toast which was good.

Nice cafe. Lots of lovely cakes to choose from. Good service. However some tables are difficult to fit into with limited space between table and chair legs. Some tables wobbly.

This delightful cafe saved the day for my husband and I when we were out walking and got quite lost. We were grateful for the friendly welcome and the lovely coffee. Would heartily recommend.

One of the tastiest English breakfast that I ever had. The English breakfast is served all day and it was more than enough for me. It comes with filter coffee, but it can be upgraded for a speciality coffee for just one pound ( I ordered Americano coffee and it was very good ) so I paid £7.25 for all.. I stopped to have my work lunch so I was very pleased to see how quick, friendly and efficient the staff was. I highly recommend it.

Popped in here for a light lunch with a friend but found the menu very limited as I am vegetarian. Two soup of the day choices - mushroom soup and broccoli & cauliflower soup which should have been fine, but when I asked, both were made with chicken stock. Granted they were not displayed as vegetarian, but come on.... Ended up asking for a salad sandwich (didn't spot a veggie sandwich option on the menu and didn't want a meal) which came with salad garnish (exactly the same salad as in the sandwich!) so rather boring after a while. On the positive side, coffee was nice, staff were polite and the place was clean.

Came here for a breakfast recently and it was brilliant. Nice good size and the ingredients tasted quality. Friendly staff and nice surroundings. I would definitely visit this cafe again.

Our favourite local cafe. So family friendly. We always feel at home here. Breakfasts are my favourite but lots of lunch options available too really reasonably priced. Sharon is so hard working and the family feel spreads to the customers.

Nice location. Dog friendly in the outside part. Would have gave 5 starts for the fry up gut buster I had, but just needed better quality sausages, not to say it all wasn't very nice.

A really impressive selection of cake even though they can currently only offer cake-out - the choice hasn't been cut at all. Would absolutely recommend the carrot cake, it's phenomenal. Always service with a smile too!

After a friend had been here, we decided when in Baildon to try this place. We were only looking for lunch but noticed the place offers a limited menu for evenings. We easily found a table and a waitress quickly took our order. I chose an egg and bacon sandwich, whilst my wife chose a baguette with chicken, bacon and mayo. We also ordered coffees, I ordered a filter coffee, a nice surprise that proper coffee was served! The drinks arrived promptly quickly followed by the food. The food was very fresh and delightful! The baguette was a full baguette and packed with filling. After the sandwiches we both ordered a sweet, mine a very delightful Lemon Meringue pie, my wife a cheesecake with chocolate sweets in. A lovely place to eat! My only one niggle with this place is they had a younger waitress who never stopped chatting with a colleague whilst people (inc. me) waited to be served at the counter! with chicken a

Not a bad breakfast but no HP or Heinz ketchup, just cheap stuff served in a small pot which was a bit disappointing.

Keep it up ........... Richard and I have just had breakfast at Nine. (14th March 2019). The waitress was friendly , the food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Keep it up, you are the best cafe/tea room in Baildon.

I went in with my son, We both had omlettes, they were lovely, perfectly cooked very full and tasty. Coffee is lovely as well. Staff sometimes a little off hand.

Visited this cafe with a friend for a late breakfast and a catch-up chinwag. The interior is pleasant and spotlessly clean. Very deceptive from the outside because once inside you realize that it is much bigger than anticipated. There is a light and airy section right at the back of the cafe. The staff are very pleasant and obliging. The food is cooked fresh and of excellent quality. The prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this place to any visitor to Baildon and the surrounding area.

Saw the chef use the toilet and am sure he did not address hand hygiene polices.

Warm welcome, even though it was late in the day, ordering was efficient & very accommodating to my request of a full English breakfast with a couple of changes/additions. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations... Crispy hard Egg to start.. dried, perhaps, re-fried beans to follow & bacon that looked like it had been deep fried along side the hash browns to resemble .. so hard that I couldn’t even cut it.. I did ‘snap some & attempt to eat it because that’s the best bit about a breakfast, but quite frankly I’d like to keep my own teeth for a little while longer! Thoroughly disappointed, which is a real shame. Saving grace the grilled tomato was lovely & soft. Everything else average - Sorry! Only saving grace was the welcoming, polite, cheerful young lady taking & serving the customers.

This was my first time in your cafe (I'm not from these parts) we ordered pannis and a roast chicken and stuffing baguette. All of the meals were lovely and presented well. The caramel cup hot chocolate and raspberry smoothie were delicious. Lovely place to meet up with friends, family or on your own.

Called in with my sister at about 2.30pm and ordered our drinks first as quite an extensive menu. My sister had a glass of milk and I had a pot of tea. The owner was very friendly and took our order to of cottage pie with vegetables and gravy and I had lasagne chips and salad. At 3pm she put her closed sign on and I mentioned that if we'd realised we'd of gone for a plate salad or just a drink and cake; she was quite adamant that it was fine,she would be a good hour tidying up and not to rush. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals though a bit too much lettuce for me. At a total of 14.50 we thought this very good value. A mention to the owner's son Jack who had decided to help out cleaning tables and giving out the odd drinks bless him. As mentioned there's a lovely grassed seating area out the back with I think 3 tables that seated 4 people plus in the back area room for about 12. I notice they open on a Thursday and Friday night as well so worth trying. Would definitely call again if in the area.

Llamamos a cafés en un domingo después de nuestro paseo y llamamos a éste en domingo tenía desayuno durante todo el día y fue uno de los mejores que hemos tenido y muy buena relación calidad-precio, todos nos lo pasamos muy bien y muy buen servicio amable también duda .

Fui a nueve las recomendaciones de amigos y no me decepcionó, es un ambiente muy agradable y muy acogedor por dentro. Sillas cómodas y el personal acogedor y parece un negocio familiar, que me gustó. Mis amigos y yo desayunamos, la mía estaba bien preparado y sabroso. En general, la experiencia fue muy buena y volveré. Me imagino que sentado en verano es agradable pero por desgracia hoy hacía un poco de frío para hacerlo.
