Lovely grub, and a lot cheaper than most places in Shoreditch. Originally went to the Breakfast Club but the food looked not that great, so glad I came here instead

Literally stumbled across this great cafe while wandering around and we’re so very glad that we did. Welcomed warmly and given menus to check out while they prepared a table for us, it was pretty busy. Whilst they offer way more than breakfast, the breakfast menu was a thing of beauty! So many options - all the things that you could possibly want, available in just about any combination you want, including proper bubble & squeak! Freshly squeezed orange juice and the perfectly cooked breakfast - best we’ve had on our 3 weeks away! And also the best value. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

Sind aufgrund der guten Bewertungen hergekommen und wurden nicht enttäuscht! Essen war sehr lecker, sehr große Portionen für einen guten Preis. Kellner sind auch außerordentlich freundlich. Gerne wieder!

Delicious food -enjoy a traditional breakfast or add a dash of mid eastern flavor. Swift and kind wait staff. We were so charmed we returned again the next day.

Delicious breakfast - one full English, and one build your own breakfast (tomatoes, bubble & squeak and fried egg). Great coffee - the best I've had in a cafe. Kind, and attentive staff. It was busy when we were there, but it didn't stop them from being efficient and friendly.

Great little cafe just a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of Spitalfields market. Great find. Delicious full English, best bubble and squeak ever and very reasonably priced.

A nice little diner close to Wentsworth Street (Portobello). It´s a small diner but very nice, it´s open from the morning and closes in the afternoon. We had omelettes that tasted very nice. Reasonably priced,

Needing breakfast, I came across Nilly's and wasn't disappointed. The Eggs Benedict was fabulous as was the coffee, only topped by the great and friendly service. You really made my day and I hope to come see you again some time soon.

What a lovely cafe. I came here with my friend Brett the skinnier guy in the photo. We both love food and love trying new places. This cafe looks to be newish. Its got a good little layout but if you come at peak time, you will be waiting outside to get in. In saying that , the food is worth the wait. I had a full breakfast and it was clean and tasty. You really must visit this little cafe. I jighly recommend this to anyone.

Nice start to the day with a sausage and egg breakfast bap. Good price in comparison to many others around, just £3.40. Usually around the £4 mark. Very quick as well, and helpful staff :)

Staying in Local Travelodge we fell upon Nillys for breakfast. We didn't know the area and were looking for a breakfast cafe. My friend had a dairy intolerance so the right menu was important they swapped her butter for marmalade. You won't be disappointed with the breakfast here and if I was coming back to the area I would try the lunch menu as well. When we arrived the cafe was busy mainly with local builders so knew it must be popular choice. We ordered option 3 breakfast - 3 bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg, bubble and mushrooms with tea and 2 slices of toast - all for £5.90! I also had z freshly squeezed orange juice which was lovely. Excellent value and delicious food especially the mushrooms. I had forgotten to ask for my tea after my food but it was still hot when I'd finished my breakfast. Service was excellent and decor/ambience great. Would highly recommend. Thank you Nillys your breakfast kept us going till tea time.

Nillys Cafe is a small Cafe off the beaten path in Petticoat Lane. Visited on a Sunday morning for a Veggie Breakfast. Short wait for a table (9 tables available). Breakfast starts from £5.00, hot drinks £1.00 and a selection of cold drinks. Egg benedict £6.50, sandwiches, wraps, desserts, salads, burgers and pasta available. I had chips, egg and beans and because it wasn’t a set breakfast they thought they could give me a small portion. It was the smallest breakfast I’ve ever purchased in a Cafe. Staff were not friendly just focused on cleaning your table and throwing your breakfast down. Bathroom available that smelt of urine and was lit like a brothel. Toilet paper stored on the floor area is very unhygienic.

So good I downloaded tripadvisor app. Never done that before. Good value, good quality, relaxed atmosphere. NOT up its bottom like Spitalfields.... genuinely does exactly what it should do.... even makes its own fresh OJ.

Waitress took our order of a set breakfast, vegetable lasagne and chicken sweetcorn sandwich with no butter, but was talking to another staff member in what I believe is Turkish. When our order came, the sandwich had lots of butter in and I was given a meat lasagne. We told her we asked for no butter in the sandwich, she rudely replied "well, you should have said so." When I then told her I'd asked for vegetable lasagne, her reply was "seriously?" and "it's nice," I told her I didn’t eat meat to which she replied "try it, it's nice, you'll like it." She finally sorted our orders and the food was good as usual, however, she was glaring and giving me strange looks for the rest of the lunch. It was directed solely at me as noticed by my companions, I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. When it came to payment, the man behind the till, didn’t even look at me, let alone say please or thank you or even tell me how much mine was. I've been here a number of times, as its convenient for lunch and have normally felt welcome, but I will not be returning, which is a shame, as the food is good.

I have visited twice and this is definitely what you expect from a good local café - Café food (jacket potatoes, sandwiches, lasagnes etc), big portions and cheap prices. There are not too many tables but quick turnover of tables in any event. The décor interior is nice and modern. Menu is quite extensive with a number of choices. Prices are reasonable - Around £5. The only niggling point I have to make is their ventilation, rather then lack of it. We always leave with our clothes smelling of food which is unpleasant. Not great when heading back to the office.

Visited before looking round Spitalfields on a rainy Sunday morning. A very generous full English, Nilly's Special, cooked to perfection. Comes with a great big mug of delicious tea and proper doorstop slabs of lovely bread to soak it all up. Very welcoming and friendly...

Good coffee, properly prepared. Nice seating at the back and, in the warm months, outside. Staff was professional, prices are at the high end for the area.

I've eaten here a few times but stopped as the food was extremely salty and did not taste good at all. I also experienced bad customer service in the form of passive-aggressive behaviour and sarcasm.
